The food isn't authentic. Only the dumplings were good. 1) the yang zhou fried rice was supposed to include chinese sausage but spam??? and it tasted blend. The onions weren't cooked. 2) the fried chicken and long beans were salty. 3) the pickled fish was a mess, the pickled cabbage wasn't sour but sweet. It tasted like packaged food. ‼️there were a molded garlic in the pickled fish soup. With a high price, the quality isn't matched. We didn't wait long for the food, which surprised me. I think it seems like a packaging food that the store just microwaved.

Google
Noodles and hand made dumplings were great. Everything is seasoned very well and portion sizes are decent. I just wish the spicy noodles had a bit more authentic spiciness to it. I believe the previous review on not being authentic is a bit exaggerated. Although the place is very small, in a way, I like the intimacy with the store. Customer service is inviting despite them being busy constantly.

Google
Scallion pancake thin and flaky, not too oily Spicy scechuan hot noodle soup was spicy and numbing, just as advertized. I added soy sauce to salt :) And service was great! Helped me make my choice by giving me portion size estimates! My noodles were missing the egg initially, so they gave me two!

Google
I love this Chinese restaurant. It's really amazing. I think it's very authentic. The noodle reminds me of what I have had in Shanghai. And for the Sichuan spicy chicken, the chili oil is so perfect!!! Also the spicy wonton. I also ordered the beef noodle. I can tell they used multiple spices to stew the beef thus the flavor is multiple and blended well with the beef. The staff is friendly. If I travel to Eugene again, I will definitely come here again. 真的很好吃,爱了爱了。

Google
Best Chinese food in Eugene. I think I found my absolute favorite restaurant in all of Eugene. The food is absolutely delicious. Can I please give them 100 stars? 1000 stars? In the service, wow, absolutely sweet and kind people working here. But the food, the delicious food, this is what’s going to bring me back again and again and again and again and again and again and again. We ordered mapo tofu , mixed veggies, steamed rice and vegetable dumplings. The price is good too , we have enough food for a meal tomorrow. Thank you so much , next time I am going to try the veggie noodles. YUMMY!

Google
Portions are very big. Menu items can easily be shared between multiple people. Restrooms are outside down a hall and require a code.

Google
Nearly every day I crave their noodle soups. Oh man, talk about hitting the spot. I have tried many things on their menu, all delicious. I only wish I had a bigger stomach. The portion sizes are enough to have some to take home, and the service is amazing also. The main server I have seen there most days goes above and beyond to ensure people get everything they need and leave happy. One of my favorite places in Eugene. Authentic flavors and all around stellar place to dine.

Google
Delicious, inviting atmosphere with lovely staff! We got the vegetarian dumplings, the fried pork buns, and the red bean buns. All were very flavorful and tasted so fresh. Even if the dishes were slightly expensive, it was so worth it.

Yelp
Party of 5 for a 1pm lunch. Had a table in 5-10 minutes, had food in 10 after ordering, and everything was AMAZING. We had the Soup Dumplings, Scallion Pancakes, Pork Xiao Long Bao, Dan Dan Noodles, Spicy cucumber, Shrimp Shumai, and pan fried dumplings. If I lived within 30 minutes, it would be a monthly stop!

Yelp
Great food, exceptional service! If you like numbing spice and Szechuan , the spicy and sour braised beef noodle is delicious. High quality ingredients, nice blend of sour and flavorful. This dish is fun not painful when very spicy! The staff is so friendly, very nice and accommodating. Inside is always busy but pleasant and professional atmosphere. Food and service have not let me down once, making this place one of if not my favorite Szechuan in town!

Yelp
The first time I went, I wasn't sure what to expect. But Jade definitely deserves all the recognition that they've received. Their entire menu is delicious and you can tell that they put lots of time and attention into crafting something wonderful. In particular I always order the Dan Dan Noodles ($6.99 and filling!) and the Stir Fried Green Beans to show friends. Their dumplings are excellent and the noodles taste just as good as you would expect for handmade. The service has always attentive and quick, even when it gets busy. There's not a ton of seating and they don't take reservations, so time of day is an important factor when deciding when to go. They are open most holidays as well, which makes it a lovely, cozy place to gather and share a meal with loved ones.

Yelp
There are two Jade Dumplings I. Eugene run by the same owners. Both are fabulous. The downtown location has a bit more on the menu but you can't go wrong at either place. Great dumplings cooked to order, generous servings of soups and other specialties including a string bean dish to doe for. Our family loves these fine friendly locations. Always a great choice for an inexpensive lunch or an affordable get together with the kids or friends.

Yelp
Fantastic! Hands down the best Chinese food in Eugene. We come to Eugene every year to visit family and I can't believe it took this long for us to discover this little spot. The dan dan noodles were very delicious - nice kick, bouncy, fresh, and with a generous amount of ground pork. Only $6.99 too! (Yes, it's a "side" noodle dish but restaurants typically over charge for it.) The pork xiao long bao was tasty as well - the skin was not too thick and it was juicy!! Exceeded my expectations. The crispy chicken with chilis was still good but our least favorite out of the 3. Flavor was good but the chicken could be crispier. Good portion size though! Comfort food with a bowl of rice. Small location but clean and cozy. Bathrooms require a key and outside the restaurant. Easy parking. Friendly service. We will be back!

Charlin P.

Yelp
We were seated very quickly, our server was attentive and quick with our drinks. Our order came out quickly, all our food was delicious. Both my partner and I ordered dishes that were flavorful and decently spicy. Our veggie steam buns were excellent and also nicely sized. We will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Had some good Asian food at this place in Eugene that doesn't look like much. It has better food than how it looks thankfully. Jade Dumpling & Noodle House has a couple locations, including this one on Williamette. A lot of the typical Asian items to get here. There's also plenty of vegan and plant based options. By using the name of the place as a guide, we had an easier time making choices. It's a pretty big menu. They have dumplings and noodles, obviously. After that, just choose whether to get meaty or plant based. It's about $10 for the Vegetarian Dumplings. These are filled with Shepherd's Purse and shiitake mushrooms, and vermicelli. At the time they only had carryout. There was a good amount of dumplings and they were filled, and filling. Good stuff as far as dumplings. It's located on Williamette in College Hill. They are closed on Tuesdays.

Yelp
Jade is Jade is Jade. There are 2 locations. See my other recent review. I love this place. I've not had a bad dish here. Sometimes is easy to get a seat, sometimes not. You can't go wrong with anything in my estimation.
google avatar

Joey J.

Yelp
Get the dan dan noodles and the spicy pork bao dumplings. Efficient menu, no frills environment. You can see the dumplings being made right when you walk in. Dan Dan noodles were less than $10 for a hearty bowl, and the dumplings were about $15 for 8.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food paired with outstanding service! This is hands down the best Chinese cuisine I've ever had! A true culinary delight!
google avatar

Eliz L.

Yelp
Tried Jade after learning it was in the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the nation. I can confirm, it lives up to the status. Best bao I've ever had... EVER. Excellent menu, exceptional flavors, presented to perfection! Thank you, Jade! Sincerely, the woman with the broken leg :)

Yelp
Went for lunch and ordered the pork dumplings, Mongolian beef, and three meat fried rice. Our server was super friendly and accommodating, and helpful. Our Oder was brought to us promptly and everything was made fresh and was delicious. The prices were very affordable for the portions we received. Highly recommend if you have not already dined here. Definitely will be returning.

Yelp
On a road-trip from the San Francisco Bay Area to Portland, we stopped here in Eugene for some take-out. Having our Princess with us, we could only eat at restaurants with outdoor seating or find a place to park and munch. We ordered: Spicy Cold Chicken - 4 - pieces of chicken and cucumber swimming in a super flavorful chili sauce. I was disappointed that the chicken was not as tender as I had expected being that it was advertised as steamed chicken. Had it checked that mark, this dish was easily a 5. Pan-Fried Pork Bun - 5 - It took a few minutes to find a place to park and eat. Because of that, whatever soup that had been in the bun had been absorbed by the bun itself. In spite of that, this dish was tasty. House Noodles with Tomato and Eggs - 5 - This simple dish was amazingly delicious. Well-seasoned and perfectly portioned. It was absolutely perfect when we ate it hot and then again when we finished it cold. This is a place that we would definitely come to again and again to try all the flavors.

Yelp
I decided to try this restaurant while on my roadtrip since I was craving some Chinese cuisine. I ended up ordering the shrimp boiled dumplings and the Sichuan dry noodles from the app to pick up and everything went smoothly. As for the reason why I gave it 3 stars would be because of the food, more specifically the noodles. Although the noodles had a good flavor, it was overfilled with oil, which made it hard to eat at the end. The shrimp dumplings were decent but also not my favorite. The skin of the dumplings had a good chew but the fillings seemed more like a shrimp paste, which isn't what I was expecting. I ended up paying almost $40 for both, definitely not cheap.

Christina S.

Yelp
I live in Corvallis and the lack of asian food (or good food for that matter) is appalling. It was refreshing to come here after a hike at mt pisgah for some take out before returning to Corvallis. Would definitely come back here again. Simple food but delicious!!

Rich H.

Yelp
Really good freshly made food. I had the scallion pancake and the pan-fried pork dumplings; both were excellent. Service was good.
google avatar

Rick D.

Yelp
Great food and service was excellent and friendly. Noodles were al dente, shrimp shumai were good and the soup dumplings were delicious.
google avatar

Chan C.

Yelp
Kind of 3 1/2 star. This location has bland interior kind of dive like. The bathrooms are outside with a key. The dumplings were expensive and fair to good. The soup dumpling was the best. We also, ordered a Chinese chive pancake so small and the tiniest chives. Served with no sauce. The green beans portion was small and over cooked. We left slightly hungry.
google avatar

Yelp
We were in town for a Duck Basketball for my husband's birthday. Decided to try something new and Jade's was SCRUMPTIOUS!! We ordered the meat lovers rice as our main dish and it was super tasty, 5/5. As sides we ordered scallion pancakes 3/5. Spicy wontons 5/5, soup dumplings 3/5, shrimp Shumai 6/5!!!! We look forward to a new favorite when we visit TrackTownUSA.

Yelp
This place is a tiny hole in the wall, but they make some darn good food!!!! We lucked out and didn't have to wait, but there was a small line that formed after we arrived. Seems like a super popular spot! We split the pork and shrimp soup dumplings, chicken dumplings, garlic green beans and scallion pancake. We slightly over ordered but totally worth it. Every dish was amazing! So much flavor, very authentic. Just a note, They do not take AMEX. Otherwise - 5 stars!

Yelp
This place is so good! Great food, excellent service! I drive from Roseburg just to have lunch.

Joyce C.

Yelp
We always come here when we're in town. The food's always great, there's plenty of tables and seating, and the service is attentive.

Yelp
TLDR: The food is great, don't underestimate the spice and staff are super attentive. Try this place! Came in on a Sunday at that weird time between lunch and dinner. The place wasn't too packed, we were sat immediately. Very shortly after getting to the table, we had waters. It was probably less than 5 minutes before taking our order. Service was so fast and attentive. They filled out water multiple times during the meal and brought extra napkins without needing prompting. At the end of the meal, they even packed up our food for us! Very few restaurants do that today and it's something I love. Onto the food: amazing The sweet and sour soup is probably the best I've had in Eugene. The jalapeño chicken was legit 50% jalapeño and 50% chicken. When they put 4 little peppers next to it on the menu (indicating the spices of all options), they weren't kidding. Be prepared for the spice because the flavor was great. The Braised beef noodles soup had a creamy broth that wasn't too heavy with noodles that were cooked just right. There were so many toppings, I was worried the broth was going to spill over when it got to the table. When we walked in the front door, there is a big open window where you could watch dumplings being made fresh. It was so cool! The space was pretty open and while I didn't venture into the bathrooms, the place was all around clean. Can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

Yelp
Visiting Eugene. We wanted fresh Bao buns or dumplings. We ordered online from the Williamette Street location. Small place - not a ton of ambience but people were eating in happily. Come for the food! I got ours to take back to rental. The two people there were lovely and just finishing up the order packing everything with care. The smell in this restaurant was so fragrant. The gentleman that put my order together asked if I needed utensils etc. I said "going home" so no thank you. He then held the door open for me with a smile. That alone is worth coming back for. We ordered the Pork Fried Bao, the Kung Pao Chicken, Xoa Long buns, Dan Dan noodles and a shrimp fried rice! Enough food to have 2nds the next day. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Brent B.

Yelp
Dumplings and noodles were a hit. Non-dumplings and noodles were good, but not great. I guess there's a reason it's called "Dumpling & Noodle House!" Service is okay - felt a bit understaffed. Overall, not quite as good as the old Kung Fu Bistro restaurant that was at this location, but still somewhere we'll come back to.
google avatar

Laura N.

Yelp
If you love noodles and dumplings, do yourself a favor and try this restaurant. It's a small, non-assuming business located in a strip mall. But the food is delicious and satisfying. My favorite dish was the Spicy & Sour Cucumbers, followed by the Dan Dan Noodles. We did get the chicken Bao, and while it wasn't quite the same level as the Cucumbers, it was still quite good. We had a friendly and helpful server, I wish we had caught his name. If you are in the mood for dumplings or noodles, I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Sammy C.

Yelp
I think these are the best dumplings I've had in Eugene! The service is fast, the food is authentic, and the vibes are just what you need when you're craving Chinese. We ordered quite the spread, and holy heck it was good. Mapo tofu? Incredible. The sauce was flavorful and was delicious with a bowl of hot white rice. The eggplant was tender and full of umami flavor. Up next, the dumplings. Every single item was clearly handmade to order, and wow these dumplings were impressive. The soup dumplings had the perfect broth to filling ratio, and were delicious with a splash of vinegar/soy sauce/chili oil. The pork wontons in spicy sauce may have been my favorite. The dumplings were steamed perfectly and the filling was so savory -- chefs kiss! Another favorite of mine are the green beans -- you MUST get them. They remind me of the ones at Din Tai Fung (IYKYK). As far as the physical restaurant goes, it's located in a smaller strip mall with a smaller parking lot. The restaurant is in a smaller space, so if you have a larger group I recommend calling ahead so they can prepare. I anticipate this will become a popular spot QUICK, so check it out this hidden "gem" ASAP. My recs: Mapo Tofu + fish flavored eggplant + pork & shrimp xiao long bao (soup dumplings) + pork wonton in spicy sauce + sesame balls + green beans If you've made it thus far, consider checking out my food IG @sammychews for more Eugene foodie content!

Yelp
Food and service was good, not the best Chinese food I've ever had but still a solid choice. Inside was smaller than expected but the place was clean and service was fast.
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
The food came out super quick. The food was amazing. My favorite were the spicy wontons. I will definitely come back to this place!!
google avatar

Robyn G.

Yelp
So good! Love the food here. The atmosphere might be lacking a little (which is probably why a lot of their orders appear to be for "to go" customers), but the food is really solid. And to be fair, the ambiance isn't terrible, just a little utilitarian. For years I've been saying that there isn't any good Chinese food in Eugene, but I believe I have found a place! Love all of the dishes that I have had here over several different visits. Unfortunately, I don't remember all of their names just now, but here are a couple of pics of our latest meal. I'm imagining that everything is good! Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Bruce M.

Yelp
This is a great little spot. The dumplings were fresh and flavorful, the noodles were good and spicy, and the green beans had the perfect amount of garlic. While the atmosphere is a lacking, the staff is friendly, and the portions are generous.
google avatar

Yelp
There's a game I like to play called Plate Up where you play as the cook and the server in a busy restaurant and it gets more difficult and chaotic with every passing level. I couldn't help but be reminded of this game as I watched the hostess bounce around to every table taking orders, dropping off checks, delivering food, and helping out in the kitchen. And she did all of this running around with such ease. It seemed effortless for her. If it were me, I would have been a messy and sweaty ball of anxiety and stress. It was pretty magical to watch honestly. Anyways, THE FOOD! I ordered the vegetarian dumplings and my husband ordered their soup dumplings. We were in food heaven. everything was so delicious. We were thankful that we only ordered dumplings after noticing how large the portion sizes were for their noodle dishes. But we already have a special trip planned to return just to order their noodles. The dining space itself is fairly small with only a few tables. So I recommend doing a takeout order on a possibly busy night. Only if you don't mind waiting. They are pretty efficient so it might not be a long wait, but something to keep in mind.
google avatar

Yelp
I tried Jade Dumpling and Noodle House for the first time tonight after wanting to go here for a while and hearing so many good things. It lived up to the hype. The pork buns were so good. Very tender and juicy. I also loved the shrimp shumai, there was a ton of shrimp packed in there. The chili oil they had out on each table was SO yummy. I put it on everything!! Employees were super friendly and food came out fast. I need to go back though, since I was not able to try everything as the menu has so many options that all sounded great! Cute little restaurant, not a ton of seating but there wasn't a wait. Would also be a great spot for takeout. I believe they are on some food delivery services like DoorDash and Grubhub.
google avatar

Kelly W.

Yelp
Visiting town & found them here on Yelp. Great!! We massively over ordered & I don't regret it. Soup dumplings amazing. They gave us some potstickers which not only tasted great but presentation wise come stuck together with lace like yummy crust that you break apart. We got both beef noodle soup & dry beef noodles. Expected to like the soup better but loved the dry noodle best - and it's great the next day.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
Best Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) in the county!!! Handmade XLB, yes please!! No need for special trips to Din Tai Fung in Portland anymore. Soooo soupy...usually my biggest complaint but these nailed it. The shrimp and pork XLB was epic and definitely the fam favorite. Shrimp shumai - exceptional as well. Love the concept too since they're typically only pork. Tasty Steamed beef buns with perfect flavor. Shrimp wontons soup was a pretty simple dish prepared well but came alive by adding the soy sauce, black vinegar and chili oil on the table. Yum! Mixed fried noodles had a generous amount of proteins and everything about it was on point. Green beans were fabulously garlicky - exactly what you'd expect in this dish. Pan fried dumplings - love love love the crispies! True you can get Gyoza anywhere, but these are like nothing else you can get in the city!! Staff were typical outspoken Cantonese ladies (that's how we know it's legit!) and super kind and hospitable. They even comped us for a miscommunication on an item. So happy we found our new dumpling spot!!! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
google avatar

Ethan B.

Yelp
Incredible food -- been there twice and very much worth it. All of the dumplings and bao buns are spot on and we also love the Dan Dan noodles, dry pot potatoes, and many other items on the menu.
google avatar

Aaron S.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try here for a while and finally gave it a shot. I was not disappointed! The Dan Dan noodles were awesome, and at just $6.99 for lunch, they are such a high-quality, affordable meal! I also got the pan-fried pork buns, and they were equally tasty. Good came quick, and i was able to sit, eat, and pay all within half an hour.
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
The best dumplings we've ever had and every person who ate near us said the same thing. Every single dish was excellent. Sesame balls, chicken dumplings, shrimp and pork dumplings, pan fried buns, Kung pao chicken and noodles. We might drive back from California just to eat here again. The staff is amazing- so nice and keeping everything going smoothly. Love this beautiful find.
google avatar

Smruti A.

Yelp
We happened to find this spot while looking for some comfort food for dinner; and so glad we did! The place opened about 3 months ago and was pretty empty when we reached. We were seated quickly and handed out menus. We ordered a vegetarian dumpling plate, Mapo Tofu, side of rice and Vegetarian Fried Noodles. The dumplings came first and they were SO GOOD. Made from scratch like ALL their other items, these were one of the best ones we have had. The noodles were good but the Mapo Tofu was spectacular. Spicy, not super oily, great Sichuan flavor and soft tofu. This dish was the highlight of our meal. The server is super friendly and all their food including dumplings, bao, pan fried buns etc are made from scratch. The restaurant itself is small with about 8 tables but clean and well kept. If you are in Eugene, this one is a MUST DO!!
google avatar

George S.

Yelp
Had a great lunch at this hidden gem!We ordered the Pork & Shrimp Xiao Long Bao (juicy soup dumplings), Pan-fried pork dumplings, Beef Pan-fried buns, and Spicy & Sour Braised Beef Noddle soup. All these dishes were delicious! I enjoyed the Spicy noodle soup with Bok choy, soft boiled egg, chunks of braised beef and handmade noodles. Only thing missing was a live show of how they make the noodles. The broth was not overly spicy and had lots of flavor. The pan-fried beef buns was a twist on regular steam buns. I enjoyed the beef filling and I especially liked the crunch since it was pan fried. The restaurant is a pretty good size with numerous tables. The area was clean and had very helpful and friendly staff. Service was fast and everything came out piping hot! Come get your eat on! Happy Nom Nom!

Yelp
Had a great meal! The restaurant is small, and a little dingy. Not dirty, just not sleek if you know what I mean. It's located where kungfu bistro used to be. Funny enough they don't carry any Jade Dumplings. We did order a pretty good amount of dumplings though. The stand outs were the xiao Bao long soup dumplings, and the spicy wontons. The steamed dumplings were light, but not too much flavor, just one note. Very juicy though. The shumai were huge, but flavorful. The soup dumplings were on the large side. They didn't bring us soup spoons for them so I eventually asked, but they didn't fit in them. They were very flavorful though. The pan fried bun was a ball of liquid fire. I bit into it and all the liquid burned my lip and chin. Tasty, but I recommend eating with caution. The wontons were the stand out in flavor. Not super spicy. More mild. We asked for fresh ginger for our vinegar dipping sauce. They brought us some from the chef. That was awesome. All in all, not exactly like what I get in San Fran, but definitely tasty and recommended! Also, when I asked for hot tea, they brought me a cup of green tea. Not a pot of black tea like I was hoping. They only have a bottle of sweet black iced tea as a black tea option.

Yelp
Just fantastic. We live in a very large city normally with ALL the food options you can imagine and are just living in Eugene temporarily but this had us saying "we wish we had something this good close to us". It's SO good. We got WAY more food than two people could eat but we wanted to try so much of it. My husbands favorite was the Red Bean Paste buns. Our next favorites would probably be the pork and cabbage dumplings and the shrimp and pork long bao. We need to come back to try some of the pan fried buns. We got there early and it wasn't busy but by the end of our time there was a wait for people walking in. Service was quick. It's unsuspecting from the outside but I feel its high rating on yelp is WELL deserved!
google avatar

Jadyn M.

Yelp
I got to-go food here and enjoyed most of what we got! The wontons in chili oil are amazing and the chili crisp adds extra spice. We ordered pork bao but I think we may have accidentally gotten soup dumplings instead, which were just alright. The pork fried rice was good. I really enjoyed the red bean buns, they are sweet and more of a dessert -- I just wish you could do an order of two instead of 6. We ordered online for pickup and our food was ready at the time they told us it would be. We'll be back!

Yelp
This is a four star restaurant restaurant by Eugene Oregon standards. It's not up to what you might find in a big city, but if you're hungry for some good noodles, this place has enough to make you feel full and satisfied for a fairly reasonable price. Restaurant is clean, welcoming, accessible, and has a wide variety of different treats. I personally think the best item we had was the string beans.I did like the Szechuan dumplings. Give this place a try. Period it's better than most in Eugene.
google avatar

Berenice B.

Yelp
So delicious! Best Chinese food ever! We had some dim sum, soup dumplings and broccoli as well as soup. All just fantastic. It gets slammed so prepare for a wait. Well worth it!
google avatar

Athena F.

Yelp
Once seated, service was fast and efficient. The food was so good we went twice in a row! It was a special experience seeing the chef make those dumplings by hand. Will be ordering takeout tonight & I can't wait!
google avatar

Kayla B.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place- in my opinion, a must visit when in Eugene. Service was quick and everything is fresh. We got the dan dan noodles, pork xlb, fried pork bun and steamed schezuan steamed pork bun. We actually didnt order the steamed pork bun originally but everything else was so good we couldn't leave without trying something else. The server was so nice to add it to our bill that was already printed out. Everyone in the restaurant was raving about how good it was, us included. Would 100% come again whilst in Eugene

Jing S.

Yelp
Top Chinese Restaurant in Eugene! We came to Eugene for visiting family, we are all Chinese and we wanted authentic Chinese food. We found this restaurant by Yelp and we loved the food here! Highly recommend the steaming bao and dumplings, the green bean and Mapo tofu are really good as well! Will definitely come back here once!
google avatar

Danielle K.

Yelp
Food is fresh, served quickly, staff is friendly. We had the dumplings and they were made fresh. Also loved the flavors of the Dan Dan noodles. Have heard great things about the steamed buns, we will try those next time!
