It's maybe the best Chinese buffet in Monroe. Food is consistent. They kept everything full and fresh, even at 3pm. Great job!!

One thing about Jade is if you want or need something fresh off the buffet they are going to make it! I love it here!! The black pepper chicken is phenomenal and the front desk cashier is always nice!

Was greeted/seated promptly and enjoyed the food, but the waitress never refilled my iced tea... Cooked crab salad could use more baked cheese on top and a bit less oil/butter but the flavor was great. Stuffed mushrooms need less onion to me. The cream cheese wonton, dumplings, fried zucchini coins, orange, sesame, and bourbon chicken were all tasty. Try the marinated chicken on a stick. Like the few sushi choices too.

Haven't been to Jade in several years. Thought we would give it another try. Now I remember why I haven't been in so long. The waitress yelled at us from her location about half way in the room and motioned us to our table in the back. Couldnt get off her phone call to be bothered greeting us at the door. But to the food...it was terrible!! I tried several options hoping to find at least one bright spot but no luck. All of the sauces on the chicken dishes were like glue. The noodles were gummy and old. Nothing we ate seemed fresh. Just plain bad all the way around. Waste of 30.00 bucks! Might try it again in several more years but could go with never going there again.

The food just isn’t good anymore, everything I had today was horrible. The waitresses/servers are so rude, they throw things on your table and seem like they don’t want to be bothered. I wasn’t even in there 20mins before I got up to leave, I doubt if I’ll ever go back!!

Three of us went to eat and try this place. The reviews had a lot of positivity, but we didn't experience anything good. The servers just threw our straws and forks on the booth. The food was dry, bland, and doughy somehow. We didn't even eat two full plates, the food was so bad. Then they charged us $60 for 3 people. And if you have a shellfish allergy, there is definitely cross-contamination. The only warning we saw was that the shrimp could be imported. Now, they do have some clean tables and they do stay on top of the cleaning of said tables, but that's about it.

The BEST place to eat healthy asian and american cuisine on a budget. The have sushi and desserts along with fresh fruit. I love Jade Garden!

The food was terrible. It all tasted like old oil. Prices were ridiculously high for the quality of the food. Probably won't go there again.

I really wanted to like this place but just didn't enjoy anything except the ice tea and fortune cookie. All of the chicken dishes that I tried were over cooked and had too much sauce , egg drop soup was extremely thick and orange, dessert fruit was all from a can and lo mein noodles had a very funky taste. Service was excellent and I did notice that there was quite a bit of take out orders being made. The restaurant is clean and well lit. I hope they can improve on their food.

Great service and so many options! General Tso chicken was a 10/10! Definitely recommend, a great price for a lot of food.

Fresh food with a wide range of choices and an excellent price. Best Chinese food in the area. Recommend going 5-6pm for best choices.

Do not go to this place between lunch and supper.Food is not fresh. Many items are dried out or not fresh (ie dumplings, chicken sticks, etc). I can not speak for lunch or supper! I would not expect it to be much better!!!!

This place is so amazing! Me, my wife, and my mom really enjoyed ourselves over here and the food is always hot and the service is always quick with drink refills! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Love this place. It is a buffet, but that just means that you can try everything. Service is quick and efficient. Clean restaurant but it looks a bit tired. All of the chicken dishes are good. The sautéed chicken skewers were great. Price is reasonable. Busy place.

This is genuinely the worst food I've ever eaten. The fried chicken is yellow inside. I am about to break down in tears.

This was honestly one of the worst American style Chinese buffets I've ever tried. We were passing through town and found Jade Palace online and really didn't know what we were walking into. Fake crabmeat, frozen shrimp and overly sweet dishes were everywhere. Cheap, crap food with no love or imagination. Nothing looked appetizing and had little appearance to either authentic or American style Chinese dishes I've ever seen. It's just bad. For $15 a person, something should have been fresh and good. And the staff knows it's crap. They don't even look you in the eye as they interact with you as little as possible. Seriously, if you think this is real Chinese food, do yourself a favor and go someplace without a steam table.

Shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp . Buffet was exciting & ice is on point. Nice place to eat.

We were hesitant to eat here after reading reviews. We came on a Saturday at 6pm, so maybe it was because it was a busy day/time but it was fantastic! Everything was hot and well stocked. My husband loaded his plate with lots of foods and ate it clean. I had sesame and general tso chicken and it was delicious. I also got Rangoons and we enjoyed them too. My only critique is the sauce and the tea was sweet, almost too sweet for me. We still plan to come here for our Asian food cravings. It was a great deal, $30 for all the food we ate/enjoyed!

Grossest buffet ever, booger eating kids eating noodles right out of the steam table. Just absolutely gross. Terrible. Go anywhere else. You'll be glad you did.

Never got to eat ,the waiter was so rude from the beginning yelled at us over seating. Worst experience I've ever had a restaurant

This is literally the worst buffet style restaurant that I've ever experienced. The staff was completely indifferent to our presence and the buffet line was unappealing in every aspect and even this poor excuse for sustenance, was sparse. It seemed to be what didn't sell for lunch that day. I'd have voted zero stars but that's not an option. Do yourself a favor and spend your fourteen dollars elsewhere.

I am in the military and only come home to visit family once a year. When I do, this is the restaurant where we all meet. The buffet is reasonably priced and plentiful with options. They have a large seating area, so large parties are no issue. Also, they have a fish pond in the middle of the restaurant that my kids love...so bring pennies. The people that operate the place are warm and friendly. Once we brought a cake but forgot the knife, plates, and everything else you would need to provide a successful distribution of birthday dessert. The owners not only happily provided us with all the necessary items but also interacted with the kids, making it a truly great experience for my little girl. Go...give it a try! You will not be disappointed.

Food is great but I only do take out . The only Con I have is on take out you pay a price if you want to take ice cream cup or fruit or soup they charge you extra for the take out. If you eat in you can have everything for the same price. That is crazy other wise food is ok.

I like the food and it taste good the waitresses can sometimes take long to clean your table but most of the time the pick up ur plates pretty fast

Only gave 2 stars because of how much my fiancé enjoys the food. Let me clarify only the food. The service here is some of the worst I've ever seen. The servers stand in a corner on their phones or they sit on their phones. They serve when they want to and they don't have a happy heart doing it.

My boyfriends little sister loves this place, I usually go to China cafe and just get some quick food, but this place has the best chinese food ever!! i only go here now! The food is delicious, always fresh, the environments neat and clean and the staff are friendly i strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Chinese fix!

OK folks, here we go. First off, yes I do understand that I found this place while looking for Chinese food.......in Louisiana........kinda like looking for the moon in the bathroom, I know.......but anyway, here it is. Decided on the buffet, cause thats what one does in this situation, and it looked like there was going to be quite a bit as far as selection goes. Then, upon further inspection, I realized that every single dish was swamped in its respective sauce. I mean Exxon-Valdez swamped, at least a half inch of liquid in the bottom of each steamer tray. There were quite a bit of veggies in many of the dishes but again, you couldn't taste any of them due to the sauce. Selection seemed to suffer too. There are four different buffet areas but only two had anything Chinesey on them. One was salad, like at any salad bar, the second was all desserts, leaving the last two for actual chinese food. Was it inedible? No, absolutely not. Would I send you there as a must eat in Monroe????? No, absolutely not.

Took my family here last weekend.They stopped me while the waitress walked my family to the table and made me pay before dining.15 mines after being there the waitress started sweeping around our table and feet.Then we realized other families were paying for their food after dining. I confronted them about it after walking my kids and fiance to the cars.I even called them to get a further understanding on why he stopped me to pay when other families just walked right in and were shown to the table.The guy at the counter called me back 7 times to apologize but I refused everytime. Black families be cautious of these racist.

We have several Chinese buffer options in the Monroe / West Monroe area, and this is our favorite. The food is always HOT which is a big plus for any buffet, and the food is good. Prices are very reasonable and staff is courtious and friendly. My only issue is they have a LOT of shrimp dishes. I like shrimp but I feel 7 different shrimp dishes is a little excessive. It could do with an addition of some seafood, perhaps muscles, or clams instead. Above all, (and especially if you love shrimp dishes) this is a great Chinese buffer, thst is always HOT, consistent and a great price.

Just had Sunday lunch from this place and I couldn't get over how delicious everything tasted. Food was piping hot and they threw in quite a few condiments as well. Completely satisfied with what I had today. They are so appreciative and kind. Gotta go back for more. Great job!

I have enjoyed the buffet here at least ten times. Sometimes I eat there but more often I get it to go. The food is always of EXCELLENT quality and is replenished often so it is hot and fresh. The spring rolls are my favorite but they have so many flavorful and interesting entrees that I am beyond impressed and I am PICKY! This is the BEST buffet in the area and puts the two Bastrop Asian buffets to shame PLUS the facility seems very well maintained and clean. Be prepared when you come inside to respond to the roving hostess who will be watching for new arrivals and will yell loudly "How many???" from wherever she happens to be in the dining area! The hot and sour soup is generously packed with mushrooms, tofu and Asian veggies. The string beans are crisp and not too sweet. The black pepper chicken is savory and so yummy! Beef and broccoli boasts large lean slices of perfectly cooked meat with crunchy broccoli pieces! The sweet and sticky dishes are a delight. The salad bar includes two "beginner " sushi choices minus raw fish with lots of wasabi and pickled ginger to compliment! Try the lightly breaded and deep fried zucchini slices! The lo mein is perfectly cooked al dente and gently seasoned. This place gets super packed at lunch with huge numbers of local workers fueling up for the rest of their day. They know the place to be for great food at a reasonable price. I wanted to take the time and make the effort to provide a great review for a place that truly deserves it!

Good Buffet offering a nice variety of foods. They take good care of you!

This place is pretty clean. The food is better than other Chinese food places in monroe. Highly recommended. Don't go to Peking go here.

My family and I have been here many times, we're from Atlanta and come to Monroe a few times a year to visit family. If I were reviewing this place in Atlanta, I'd say it's about average, but we've been to many Chinese restaurants is Monroe/West Monroe, and this place is top notch compared to the others. The buffet is reasonably priced, has a large selection of food, and the food is pretty good. Compared to other local Chinese restaurants it's a 10! If you love Chinese food like me, and you've not been here, give it a try, you'll like it!

Jade Garden is an excellent Chinese buffet, easily the best in town. They have a great selection and the food is quite good. The prices are reasonable as well, much moreso than Peking.

I took my two children here tonight for the first time. I wasn't expecting much, but for a buffet I thought it was great! We spent $20 for myself and two children, and that was a bargain in my opinion. Best Chinese buffet we've tried here so far! They have a good variety of foods, a salad bar with some (limited) sushi, and a dessert station with an ice cream machine. Like some buffets, they didn't have an overwhelming option of generic "southern" foods, which was fine by me. I tried a little of everything and was impressed.

I like Jade Garden because I can get carry-out from the buffet. It's good but it seems like an inordinate percentage of it is fried.
