The service was top tier. My waitress was super attentive and did a great job managing the “to go” orders as well as her tables. The egg drop soup was fine, but lacked flavor. The wontons were a bit salty and lacked any typical sweetness. Broccoli chicken was good as was the fried rice.

The food was nice and hot when we picked it up and even after driving an additional 10 minutes to get home. Price was comparable to most Chinese restaurants. The lady who often works the front counter is an absolute gem. She's sweet and funny and always makes you leave with a grin on your face! One of our fav go to's for good Chinese food no question about it!

This is, without a doubt, the worst Chinese food you could ever get. Nothing has any flavor at all, their noodles and vegetables are cooked to hell and back, their meat is rubbery, and EVERYTHING is inexplicably wet and slimy... with the exception of their rice, which is as dry as snuff. Avoid, avoid, avoid 🙅‍♂️🚫

Jade Garden is my absolute favorite place to go for chinese. The servers are always friendly and they make pick up orders easy as can be. I enjoy the family friendly atmosphere they provide, never too busy. Highly recommend! :)

Most consistently awesome Chinese food in Omaha and The only Chinese restaurant open tell 10 PM in Omaha! My wife and I are regulars. We always get an order of chicken fried rice, sweet-and-sour chicken and three chicken eggrolls!

Well this is the absolute worst Chinese I've ever had. The Kung Pao chicken had absolutely no flavor and the chicken was obviously just boiled. The hot and sour soup was nasty.. as for all the people that said it was great.. well you need to travel a little. I have had better food at the mall..

I've been coming here for decades! It's been my favorite and is now all my kid's favorite. The food is awesome and the prices and portions are great. They are fast, efficient, and friendly. I recommend Jade Garden to everyone!

Jade Garden is right by our house and is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Omaha, hands down. They're always busy when we've stopped in and it's super easy to see why! The interior is pretty simple but with cute little accent touches around, like some wooden panel walls, decorated fans on the walls, and more. But where the interior is on the simpler side, the food is anything but! Everything we've had is so flavorful, and the portions are huge, so definitely assume you will have leftovers. My favorite things to get are the Peanut Butter Chicken, Pepper Beef, Broccoli Chicken, and Broccoli Beef! But literally everything there is good. They have the best soup options (I get a mix of the hot and sour and the egg drop, sooooo good). And their crab rangoon is some of the best in Omaha. And finally, the thing that brings it all together - the amazing staff! Everyone we have ever dealt with, even when they're busy, have always been so pleasant and professional. If you're looking for one of the best Chinese restaurants in Omaha, that also has an amazing staff and is super affordable - look no further than Jade Garden!

Stopped in on a weekend afternoon and was blown away by how good the food is! You place your order at the counter and then food is brought out to you! It was quick to order and quick to receive your meal. The food was piping hot! Is that the saying , I mean literally right off the pot, steaming! Everyone in our party loved their meal which was substantial sizes we all had a take home box and my nonadventerous eating children also loved what they had! My son got shrimp, my daughter and I had cashew chicken. So delicious! I thought I took pictures but I must have deleted them! Next time!!!

This place is timeless. I grew up eating at Jade Garden and thirty years later it hasn't changed. I say that in the best way--the nostalgia was high. We went on a Sunday evening, it was quiet. We got seated right away and the food came out quickly. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. And oldie, but goody and very reliable!!

Fast service and very polite. Food was delicious and hot still when I got it home. I picked it up and the place was clean and friendly.

2 stars because I know of a person that likes it...that person it's me though. Pros: fast and hot food! Cons: every single meal tastes the exact same. Zero spice, zero flavor. The "fried rice" was actually offensive. It's just rice that's fried a little but that's not what fried rice is!. Bottom line: If you like Midwest Chinese, go here! If you like Authentic Chinese, steer clear. The waitress was very kind and we were well served.

I went there tonight and the staff seemed extremely prejudiced. The man at the register was very nice and appreciative of the white customer right before me, thanking him and smiling as he gave him his food. I had a $60 order right after this gentleman and the man at the register walked away and I had to tell someone else the name for my order. When he came back to the register there were no niceties, no appreciation and he even threw my card at me after he processed the order. As a black man who is kind to everyone I meet I still was respectful but I definitely won't be ordering from here again. Sadly I'm sure they won't mind. Wake up people, it's 2024 :(

Got takeout on Halloween. My Mongolian beef was awesome. Didn't realize each meal came with rice and TWO crab Rangoon! So good for the price. Dinner partner said the PB chicken was good too. Had a nice crunch. I'll definitely be back.

Very good sesame chicken! The rice was also delicious and the cashier/table lady is very nice. So sweet and made everything easy and quick! The tables were so cute and it was nice and quiet no loud kitchen and disruptive customers just a good happy place to eat amazing food. Great vibe!

I don't live in Omaha anymore but Jade Garden is always my go to restaurants list when I am in town. I have loved these wings for over 20 years. When in college we would order them, even for our parties. I ordered these wings for my graduation party and used to order them when I worked overnight at the Country Inn & Suites (now Holiday Inn). Anyway wings are still fire. I grabbed two (6) orders to go. We had plenty of leftover sauce. My brother grabbed the leftover sauce to make his own chicken breast for salads. Always a winner...will here each and everytime I come back 2 Nebraska. Con: Price qas higher than expected but wings sauce is soild and so are wing size!

Our favorite place food is always delicious, fast, and good value for the price. Only thing I wish is for more gluten free options for my gluten free friends. There are gluten free options on the menu but I feel like they're missing out on some of the best recipes when we all get together. Still, this is the best place in Omaha and we've been dining here since I was a child. No other place can compare

For sure not a 4 or 5 star for the quality, portion, service, and price. I don't know if it "could have been better 2 star yelp" because I'm not the cook or owner and it was my first experience so it gets a 3 star. Which by the way, to be fair to the world YELP needs to eliminate their little personal comment on the stars when hovering over them. Ordered Mongolian beef and Hunan Chicken for take out. It was ready fast, by the time I arrived 5-10 minutes later. $20 was not steep for the two meals considering you get fried rice and 2 crab Rangoons with each. I thought the crab rangoons were soggy and freezer burnt. I did not like those. I thought the Hunan sauce was slimy and lacked any spice or flavor. I don't have Covid so my taste is alive and well. I thought the Mongolian beef was good and had good flavor. Onions and rice were abundant and I prefer more meat and veggies. Freshness was not there. I have no idea if this is a chain or locally owned as there is nothing on their website to detail this. Over the the couple of decades in Omaha I've tried about everything but here. I'd be willing to go back and try something different for another opportunity but probably won't.

Jade Garden is a small family owned restaurant. I first visited Jade Garden a few years ago when I lived in one of the near by apartment complexes. It instantly became my go-to for Chinese food. The service is SUPER quick. The food is fresh and hot. Great flavor and very reasonable prices. They also offer a punch card for frequent visitors. They are great for a quick bite to eat or even takeout. Dishes I recommend- Sweet and Sour Chicken Pepper Beef Combination Fried Rice Crab Rangoon Egg drop soup Daily Specials- Monday: Almond Chicken​ Tuesday: Crispy Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce Wednesday: Broccoli Beef Thursday: Garlic Chicken Friday: Triple Delight Saturday: Hunan Shrimp Sunday: Shrimp in Lobster Sauce The only reason I gave 4 stars is their restroom isn't great.

Everyone has their favorite Chinese place in town for American style Chinese food, Jade Garden falls into that category for me. The food is always good, the portions are perfect and the people working there are always friendly. Some of my favs are crispy chicken in spicy sauce, Mongolian beef and the peanut butter chicken. Eggrolls and crab Rangoon are also pretty good.

Disclaimer, I've only ordered peanut butter chicken the many times I've been here. When I find something that works I tend to stick with it. The speed of food preparation and the friendly people that work here keep me coming back. The peanut butter chicken is fantastic. The flavor and amount of sauce hits a home run. On occasion the chicken can be small and crunchy but usually it's very good. They have a loyalty program where you can get a card punched for each visit. The downside is I typically forget the card and cards cannot be combined. I'll certainly be returning. The speed, smiles, taste, and price will keep me coming back.

Best Mongolian beef since the restaurant at the Westroads closed a few years ago! I was back twice in a week due to being in that neighborhood and will be back again in the future. Food is excellent!

I've been a regular here for thirty+ years. I mostly do carry out. The food is quick and always hot. It's my favorite since King Fong's closed.

This place used to be my go to Chinese place, but it's different now. Was it bought out? New owners?? The chicken is weird now, and even the sauces taste off.

Typical American Chinese restaurant that is fine for quick takeouts. Not really something I would go back for unless I wanted something to go quick. I got the daily special, which was the shrimp in lobster sauce. It was okay, but the fried rice was far from tasting good. The daily special came with hot and sour soup (was lukewarm) and also 2 crab rangoons. It would be better if it was cheaper, but after tax it came out to be just under 10 dollars. It's not too expensive, but there are cheaper and tastier places.

Great food for what it is. The fried chicken is great I order light sauce so it stays crispy. Wish the fried rice had vegetables in it.

I recently moved away from my favorite chinese place, so I decided to give Jade Garden a try. I could not have been more disappointed. First of all, sweet and sour chicken looked like chicken nuggets covered in a watery sauce. The chicken itself was gray and inedible. The egg drop soup looked like chicken noodle soup and even had chicken in it, which I have never seen before. The fried rice was boiled and rubbery. The crab rangoons were soggy. I couldn't eat more than two bites of anything. It was money literally thrown in the trash.

One of the only Chinese restaurants I will eat at. I have been coming here for over 25 years and it still tastes the same. My favorite is the garlic chicken! It's always fresh and the service is always great!

Great food! My favorite is the Mongolian Beef! We go every Saturday night and I never get tired of it! Definitely four star or higher.

Terrible. Don't come here. Chicken tastes like chicken nuggets and the shrimp wasn't even cooked when I bought it. Asked for a refund and they gave me half back because not all the shrimp was there. What? Did you want me to spit back the shrimp that was in my mouth to your evidence or to a trash can like a normal person? Avoid this place. But the mango cake is alright.

Jade Garden has been around since I was a kid and we have always come there for takeout Chinese food. Favorite dishes would have to be the sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and PB chicken. The egg rolls are really good as well and don't sleep on the chicken wings!

Hadn't been to Jade Garden in a long, long time so decided to give it a try again. Promptly greeted by a very friendly employee. I was the first of a party of 5 to arrive, but was promptly greeted by the waitress and got something to drink while I waited.....very nice. When I ordered, I asked if it was ok to substitute something and there was no problem.....I appreciated that tremendously. Food came out fast and hot and flavor was very good......I will be back.

Best. Chinese. Restaurant. In. Omaha. HANDS DOWN! My family has tried many restaurants around town and Jade Garden is by far the best. The owners are welcoming and the food is consistently amazing. Every time I try any other Chinese restaurant in Omaha I immediately regret it and wish I had gone to Jade Garden. You get a large amount of food for a really good price!

WORST CHINESE I'VE EVER HAD! The food was terrible. Plate comes with 2 crab rangoon that were most likely sitting for at least an hour and a half. The sesame sauce was thick and not very appetizing. The chicken was low quality and let's not even talk about the poor excuse of fried rice they gave me. Rice had no flavor no veggies like real fried rice and barely any egg at all. Let's just say China Buffet has better food than this place AND THATS A BUFFET when a buffet has better food than a made to order restaurant that's really saying something. FIRST AND LAST TIME I EVER GO TO JADE GARDEN.

It is cheap, I will give you that. I have never seen a place where crab rangoon replaced the soup before. The fried rice was bland. General's chicken was not as crunchy chewy as I would like, more sweet and sour chicken than General's usually is, and kung pao beef was only fair, hot and tasteless. Granted, neither of these is an authentic dish, so who the hell knows how they are supposed to taste. It just made me miss San Francisco to eat such lackluster Asian chow. And have to ask for chopsticks. Great service, fabulous price, but less than average value. In general, Chinese food here in Omaha is better than in most other Anglo enclaves where I have lived (Wisconsin and Georgia, but not New Hampshire). They get it right in NH, somehow. Don't worry, I will take my whiny ass back to SF soon to get a Chinese food fix and shut up.

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! I first ate here after a coworker recommended it to me, and now I'm back at least once a week! The food here is always fresh and hot, and the service is extremely fast! You never have to wait more than 10 minutes from the time you order to the time you dig into your delicious plate of Chinese food. My favorite dish here in the peanut butter chicken... It's battered and fried, then mixed with an amazing peanut sauce. It (and everything else here) is served with two crab rangoon, which are also delicious! If you want delicious and fast Chinese food in Omaha, this is the place for you!

The price can't be beat. I always get the sweet and sour chicken, and it's by far the best around. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, though. The food comes out FAST. You barely have time to sit down. You can also call in your order and they will have it waiting for you when you arrive.

After moving to NW Omaha, my husband and I have struggled to find a decent Chinese restaurant (we were spoiled in Bellevue). This place came highly recommended from several coworker's so we decided to give it a shot. I called in a take out order on a weeknight and was not impressed with the person taking our order. They were not friendly and they seemed like I was an annoyance. I was told food would be ready in 10 minutes and this should've been my first warning sign. When my husband brought home our order of Peanut Butter Chicken and Crab Rangoon, I was excited to dig in. Upon opening the box we found a decent amount of food however the chicken was in tiny little pieces, the sauce was runny and it lacked the nice crunchy breading. After a couple bites I came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to get any better no matter how much I tried to like it. The chicken was not white meat and it was unbelievably chewy. We ended up throwing it away and eating sandwiches for dinner instead. The Crab Rangoon was decent but nothing special. I really don't understand all the good reviews and recommendations from my coworkers. This is possibly some of the worst Chinese I've had in the city.

I have moved away from Omaha, and this is the place I crave the most since moving! Everything about Jade Garden is excellent, from the employees to the amazing food! My husband is allergic to mushrooms, so we told the waitress on our first visit there. The owner personally came out to our table and assured us that his food came nowhere near mushrooms. He then remembered us every time we came in after that (which was at least once a week) and made sure to go back and tell the kitchen staff "no mushrooms" before we even ordered. The peanut butter chicken is to die for! Other things are also good, but this was always what I kept coming back to. I can't wait to make a trip back to Omaha so I can come here again! Fast service, delicious food... this place rocks!

I've been coming her since 1991. I averaged about 50 times a year. In those 1,300 meals that I have had, only 3 meals weren't cooked perfect. As you can tell this is one of my favorite places to eat. You can't beat the speed of food, taste and price. 5 stars all the way.

Food is served fresh and piping hot. Excellent stir fried dishes. I love the way they cut their vegetables just the right size. Service is always prompt and friendly. Pricier than most Chinese Restaurants. Combination fried rice has very little meat in it.

My wife and I deceived to split a take out order of Mongolian beef, so they shorted us on the entree.

Second best hot and sour soup in Omaha! Quick, inexpensive. Caution though, they have punch cards but for some reason you cannot combine them.

I love Jade Garden. They're fast, their peanut butter chicken is my favorite thing on the menu, and you get a lot for what you pay for. They started catering my company a few years back, which is how I discovered them, but when they stopped, I decided I still needed my PB Chicken fix. I go a few times a month now. Love them!

The service was great and they brought out the food within 10 minutes of ordering. I ordered the sesame chicken and it came out hot and steamy. the "chicken" had barely any chicken in it. it was all breading and little chicken. the rice was super good. the rice is what made the meal worth paying. while i was eating i was then asked twice within a minute apart if everything tasted okay. me being the person who doesn't like to make people feel bad said yes. it if someone asked me one more time i would have asked for new chicken because it tasted like only breading and sauce.

I have to give this place a five star because of their twice cooked pork and I've been coming here for years. I've tried twice cooked pork at other restaurants and I seem to always end going back here.

Yum Yum! This is one of those BETTER Chinese places I have told you guys about! Drop in and try them out and I know you won't be disappointed! I wouldn't eat at a place that doesn't meet my picky desires! These guys knock it out of the park every week!

This place is terrible. It isn't even as good as Panda Express at the mall, and it's not even a contest. The only good things about it are that it's cheap and fast.
