The service was outstanding and the staff were not only friendly but very attentive, making for a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out. Definitely one of the best restaurants around - can’t wait to come back . 5 stars all around

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful date night at this charming gem in Yorkville. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the restaurant’s elegant ambiance. The warm energy and welcoming smiles made us feel truly appreciated. Our server, Devon, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the steak frites and lobster spaghettini—both of which were absolutely delicious. His service was outstanding. We were also pleased to be visited by the manager, Sandy, who ensured we were well taken care of and further elevated our experience. We look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu. Thank you, Jade, for a memorable evening.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Jade on Saturday night. Our server, Emil, I believe his name was, was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive, friendly, and really made our evening special he’s a true professional in his industry! The Lychee Fizz cocktail was perfectly balanced—sweet and refreshing. Overall, it was a wonderful cocktail, and I would order it again, hands down. The Tartar is to die for; it was super fresh and tasted amazing. I especially loved that they had a gluten-free option, serving it with lettuce instead of just the usual bread. Oysters were super fresh and I loved the little crunch they had! The short rib melted in my mouth and was worth every penny! It was rich, tender, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was also a major highlight. With its dim lighting, elegant decor, and cozy seating, Jade has a very romantic feeling. It's perfect for date nights and special occasions. The combination of the 5-star atmosphere and the delicious food makes it my new favorite spot to dine out in Toronto!

I hosted my birthday dinner back in September. Lovely dinning experience, thank you to all the staff. Our waiters were so welcoming and attentive to my guests and I. I did a set menu which is designed for larger groups. Portion sizes were perfect, and I found myself getting full after the appetizers. Great music from the DJ that was playing that night.

The Kaizen Bites and Char Siu Pork were excellent. The rest of the menu was average, as were the drinks. The stunning interior design and friendly, sociable service definitely elevated the experience.

This place was beautiful. The atmosphere was quite relaxing, and this restaurant isn’t just for show. The food was excellent especially the steak as well as the truffle fries that went with the dish. They cooked my medium-well order perfectly as I like it. The staff were pleasant and personable especially our server. He did an amazing job being patient and serving us as we were having fun and taking pictures. My gal friends and I had a great night! I’ve been recommending this place to my friends. All positive opinions💗. I’d love to go back here again!

I’ve been debating for a long time whether I should write this review, and since my disappointment is overwhelming, I finally decided to share it. First of all, we ordered the fish crudo, and it was terrible. The references I had seen looked nothing like what we were served. On top of that, they sprinkled something on it that felt like sand — it literally crunched in my teeth. Even if that was an intentional element of the dish, it was definitely not okay. Next, we ordered the steak with fries, and when we asked if we could replace the fries with a salad or vegetables, we were told that wasn’t an option. Seriously? An $80 dish that comes with fries and you can’t substitute them? Also, my steak was over-salted, unlike the fries which were fine. The steak tartare was a solid 10/10, and the dessert was delicious. The place itself is bright and pleasant. I’m honestly really upset that we left hungry because I simply couldn’t eat my main dish. As for the cocktails, they were also a 5/10. We paid $360, and in my opinion, the food does not match the price or the quality. Thank you.

We ordered the steak frites, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The taste was quite bitter, and the steak itself seemed to have no seasoning at all , no salt or pepper, just a strong bitter flavor. The service was also disappointing; after our food was brought to the table, no one came by to check on us or ask how everything was. Considering that it was a fairly expensive meal, we expected much better food quality and service. On a positive note, the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but overall, both the food and the service were well below expectations.

Yelp
Enjoyed stopping by Jade with my parents tonight! We made a reservation on open table, although there were definitely some tables that I think would be free for walk ins. There's a nice pink flower wall in the entrance and the interior is a bit dark and cozy with velvet booths and a nice bar. We ordered oysters, kaizen toast, tofu, steak, sea bass, lobster spaghetti, and broccolini. A few thoughts: - the oysters are nice, I appreciate the tiny bits of rice that add a bit of a texture. They come with toppings already so if you're looking for just plain raw oysters, don't order these - the kaizen toast is one of their specialities. It's pretty heavy (with the foie gras and unagi) but delicious if you like all the toppings! We split between the three of us and that was the perfect amount - the steak frites were cooked perfectly and I enjoyed that the fries were truffle fries! - I would have preferred the broccolini sauce to be on the side, it was a bit heavy I also tried a lychee fizz, good, but I would probably try something else next time. Overall, a nice time especially for a nice dinner, date tonight, or celebration.

Yelp
From the moment you step into Jade, you're instantly transported into a world of elegance and thoughtful design. The entrance alone sets the tone with a stunning floral walkway that feels like the prelude to a special evening. Whether you're planning a romantic dinner or celebrating a special occasion, this Yorkville spot delivers an elevated experience on every level. The ambiance is sophisticated and chic, with dim lighting, luxe finishes, and a modern yet intimate vibe that makes it perfect for a date night. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming; small details like offering complimentary champagne for our anniversary didn't go unnoticed and added a personal touch that made the night feel even more special. We started off with cocktails and got the Lychee Fizz, which is their most popular option. It lived up to the hype: light, flavourful, and incredibly refreshing. A perfect drink to ease into the evening. Appetizers kicked off with the Corn Dog & Caviar, which came as four perfectly crisp bites. The contrast of the crunchy exterior with the melted cheese, sausage, and caviar-mayo topping was indulgent and playful; elevated comfort food at its finest. For mains, we shared the Lobster Spaghetti, Grilled Sea Bass, and the Slaw. The spaghetti was packed with generous chunks of lobster, al dente pasta, and a breadcrumb-like topping that added an unexpected but welcome crunch. The sea bass was tender, flaky, and full of flavour, while the slaw - a sleeper hit - stood out with its mix of veggies, peanut sauce, and crispy wonton strips that gave it depth and texture. We ended the night with the Pandan Cake, a sizable chiffon-style cake topped with passionfruit, dark chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, and sakura dust. Admittedly, I was unsure how all those bold flavours would work together, but somehow it did! Delicate, airy, and perfectly balanced. Jade is the kind of place that impresses not just with its food and cocktails, but with its atmosphere and attention to detail. Whether you're celebrating love, a milestone, or just a night out, this Asian fusion spot in Yorkville is well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Jade is beautiful on the inside, and definitely a good place if you like to take pictures. The interior is all green and gold, and the entrance has a hall that is covered in pink flowers. Not only is everything a visual treat, but the food is also solid. We ordered a variety of items, but the standouts were definitely the scallop crudo and the kaizen toast. Though Jade is a restaurant that combines French and Asian flavours, it is definitely stronger in executing the latter. The other items we ordered weren't bad, but definitely left more to be desired. The service was excellent; Sarah was very friendly and ready to offer suggestions about the menu. I would definitely recommend visiting Jade at least once, and I wouldn't be opposed to returning if someone wanted to visit, or if the menu changed up a little.

Yelp
It's a beautiful space. Gorgeous. Sadly that's all the good part of the review. The menu had 5 items as mains. They were missing 2. There was nobody there on a Thursday. Dead. Food we did get was sub par and wait staff were not so good. Mixed up orders. They spent so much money making this place beautiful. They forgot the most important part though. It's a restaurant. They need good food and service. This beautiful space will not survive 2025 and beyond sadly.
