I had been wanted to check Jaffa Coffee Roasters out, so I stopped by around lunchtime on a Sunday.
We ordered the Jaffa orange latte and strawberry sage creek (a seasonal drink).
Jaffa orange latte: 3/5
It contains jaffa orange syrup, milk, orange slice and jest. Unfortunately, I felt the coffee overpowered the orange syrup and orange flavors so I couldn't really make it out, if anything it only just made the drink more acidic.
Strawberry sage creek: 4/5
It contains milk, strawberry sage syrup, strawberry whip, and strawberry slices. This was sweeter than the orange latte, and if you use a straw to drink, then toward the end it gets creamy and sweet like a frappuccino from the whipped cream, so I enjoyed that the flavor became progressively sweeter as I got from the beginning to end. The dried strawberries are cute, and don't get too soggy or mushy fortunately. I couldn't really tell if the whipped cream was flavored though, it just tasted like standard whipped cream to me.
For both I drinks, I unfortunately felt the coffee really overrode the other flavors. I'm curious to try their other drinks though, particularly the chocolate-based choco cappuccino, and the rose with a chance of hail (the latter has rose petals, rose cardamom syrup, and milk but is a seasonal drink).
They have a traditional coffee menu on wall but there are separate paper menus on the counter with their specials, seasonal offerings, and teas. Their special coffees are referred to as "mocktails" on the paper menu.
They also sell some pastries, including vegan donuts.
The drinks were done within 4 mins. The shop's space is actually very long and has some seating area in sunlight, and others that are not so brightly lit, based on your preference. Some are sofa style but most of the seating is a long wall bench and chairs. I do think the shop itself looks nice with the natural lighting.
