Nice place for an evening or night visit with family. A quickly developing place with Saturday night market ( Happy Market). You can get local products here as well as food / dinner. Filling the gap of "lacking family entertainment venues" in Jaffna. With the childrens' park, a perfect location for relaxing.

Evenings here are magical and mind calming.Sun setting over the lagoon,wind ruffling the hair gives you a heavenly feeling and help you to escape from your worldly life and help you to stay in the moment.You can enjoy the moment by reading a book,listening to music or stay healthy by jogging.Jogging track here is picturesque.You can stay freely.Food carts and children park are in one corner of the park.

Beautiful at sunset.....BUT litter everywhere , plastic bottle just thrown in the shore line . In Sri Lanka ,plastic bottles, especially water bottles are a HUGE problem on all the beaches here. So sad to see.
