Jagmandir Island Palace

We reached Jag Mandir by boat. The ticket cost was ₹800 per person since we booked after 1:30 PM. If you book earlier, tickets are available for around ₹600, so going early is better. The boat ride itself was enjoyable, and once we reached the island, the views were absolutely stunning. You get a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Palace and City Palace, which makes it a perfect spot for photography 📸. Boating around the lake was relaxing, and the overall atmosphere was very peaceful. There are good food options available, though they are quite expensive. We tried a softy ice cream, which was really good. The place is very scenic, great for clicking pictures, and offers a unique experience in the middle of Lake Pichola.

Just visited Jag Mandir and it feels like stepping into a royal postcard. Reaching the island by boat itself is a lovely experience, and once you’re there, the white marble architecture and lake views are stunning. It’s calm, elegant, and not too crowded, so you can actually soak in the beauty. A perfect place to slow down and feel that old Udaipur royalty vibe.

Jagmandir = honestly one of the peaceful spot in Udaipur. I visited with my wife, daughter and son, and those three hours in the middle of Lake Pichola felt like a complete escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourist city which somehow lacs Rajasthani ambiance like Jaipur, Jodhpur, and lovely Jaisalmer. The moment you reach, it makes you pause and wonder — how was something so beautiful even built in the middle of a lake? The island is full of trees, beautifully maintained architecture, it’s hard to describe. It almost feels still, like time has slowed down. There aren’t loud distractions — just the mesmerizing lake around you. We spent time just sitting at different spots, with just great views. The jharokhas, the majestic elephant sculptures, the courtyards, the detailing in the stonework — every corner has something to admire. It’s the kind of place where your life just stands still. It’s a must place to take multiple beautiful photographs, il feel as if you are somewhere offshore 😊

We visited the Jagmandir palace as part.of the excursion of Lake pichola boat ride. Great place, good food , but service needs to improve a bit. We had to actually look for waiters to take our orders and the bartenders took alot of time serving guests. Apart from that we had an amazing time. Very neat and clean

Beautiful in its own way. Located in the midst of the Pichola lake. You have to take the boat from Rameshwar ghat located in the city palace. It’s known for its 3 chattris and beautiful architecture and gardens. A must visit during the golden hour though it’s at an extra cost. It’s quiet and peaceful where you can spend sometime amidst the lake. There’s a restaurant there which can be tried but needs prebooking and has cover charges applicable.

Awesome dinner experience at Jagmandir. One of the best luxury dining experience in Udaipur. Our server Mangelal was very helpful with our selection of food. Weather was cold outside so we opted for table inside. This place is highly recommended.
