"Smart, stylish and boasting an immaculate open kitchen, this charmingly run Indian restaurant – whose name means “let there be victory” in Hindi – is a younger sibling to Cheltenham institutions Prithvi and Bhoomi Kitchen. There is a more distinct street food influence here, with the well-priced menu offering sharing plates that arrive when they’re ready. Look out for the coal-roasted dishes, including unmissable lamb chops, and the regularly changing house biryani. The desserts don’t let the side down either, with the gulab jamun a particular treat." - Michelin Inspector

Incredible. Great simple menu with delicious dishes. Also very good value!! We had 2 mains, 3 sides and 2 starters, desserts, plus soft drinks and a cocktail + tip- for under £100! Perfect sized plates, all cooked perfectly. faves were the fish curry, okra fries and the gulab jamun was yum.lamb was so nice. great service. please don’t change!

First time at Jai Ho and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious and so fresh. Everything piping hot especially the poratha bread which came out super quick as a last minute addition to our food. Special mention to the black Dal makhani and the lamb chops (so good I didn’t have time to get a picture)! Desserts were also really unique and a perfect finish to the meal. All the staff were really friendly and attentive, topping up drinks when needed, clearing away empty plates and getting the crumbs off the table when we’d finished. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Thank you!

First visit definitely not the last. Lovely restaurant, great decor and the food smells when you walk in had us salivating. We were a party of four and went for the bottomless brunch, we were not disappointed. Every dish was enjoyed, perfectly spiced, great heat and delicious. Drinks were offered regularly and we left feeling full and very impressed.

Lovely food and service, the chef came out himself to chat with us and get our feedback. Good quality but affordable Indian food which is definitely a notch above a lot of Indian restaurants. Gave a 4 for atmosphere only because it was quiet but we were there early evening on a Sunday I am sure it will be busier at other times. Decor also lovely.

I was looking for a place for my partner and I to eat at on a Sunday and I randomly clicked on the Michelin Guide and saw Jai Ho. I was surprised as the prices seemed really good so we decided to go. The service was brilliant, with the lady being attentive and quick to bring out our plates as they were cooked. The food was totally delicious, rich and deep in flavour. It was a truly pleasurable and surprising experience as I believe they haven't been open long. My partner and I shared a lamb curry with rice, lamb chops, paneer & onion bhajis and the bill came to £45! If you're looking for some great Bombay food, just go. You will not regret it!

We went on Wednesday night with six friends and I must say the food was delicious. We sat outside for drinks and canapés and had fantastic service by the waiter who was very attentive and accommodating moving chairs to fit us all in to enjoy the lovely summers evening. We went for the set menu and the selection was divine catering for my gluten free husband with great care. Also great portion sizes!! The decor is very nice and inviting and the staff are all really lovely. Highly recommend a visit but book in advance.
