Fast and friendly service! Ingredients were all fresh and high quality, the salmon lox croissant sandwhich was a favorite ❤️. Their PB&J bowl is as awesome as advertised, blended for real, and the peanut butter just jumps out in flavor. Also a must try! 100% recommended if in the area and worth the trip.

My friend and I came in and grabbed the tropics bowl and it was even better than it looks. They make it super fast! The staff was great and made us feel like family. It was tough choosing where to sit because all their furniture is so adorable! Definitely coming back soon!

I ordered the beetroot hummus toast, and I have to say I was really disappointed with how it turned out. It came with just four slices of avocado, which were already turning black, and the hummus was barely there, spread so thin it was dry. They even left the inedible tip of the avocado right on the toast. I was still willing to give it a chance since I usually love the food here, but after one bite, I just couldn’t continue. I went up to the counter to share my experience, not asking for a refund or replacement—just hoping they’d understand how I felt about what I got for the price I paid. But their response was surprisingly dismissive. They simply said, “That’s how it is,” and insisted there was hummus underneath. We were a group who ordered multiple drinks and meals, but mine came out looking sad, and their response made it even worse. I ended up leaving the toast at the counter because I was so disappointed, but they didn’t acknowledge it at all. It’s just frustrating to feel like my concerns didn’t matter at a place I normally enjoy.

The Turkish eggs were amazing! The avocado toast not so much. The coffee was good, but was slightly cold for my taste.

Google
"They have good smoothie bowls," said my companion. She also liked the Uber Dalgona drink. I had a cheesy bagel with cream cheese which could have been toasted a bit more (it was rather chewy) and a delicious cappuccino. The staff is pleasant and accommodating.

I love this little private cafe place. We had an avocado and toast with poached egg and added some prosciutto to it. It was amazing. My husband had a breakfast burrito that was great, coffee and chocolate banana bread. Service was great, and the place is cozy .

Google
They have the best power bowls!!! I’ve tried the peanut butter bowl. It had açaí and almond milk with bananas and blue berries strawberry cacao chips and drizzled peanut butter. It’s so good and filling I absolutely love it. Also I’ve tried their tropics bowl that was is a wonderful play on tropic fruits. It so good. I’ve also had coffee there and I’m so impressed with the quality of their products!! The owner really cares and peoples health which is amazing. I’ve seen their breakfast items while waiting for my bowl and can’t wait to go back and try for myself. This place is amazing I highly recommend it. The staff is so kind too.

Google
Such a tasty lil cafe! Jaiiya is a great find between Edmonds/Shoreline if you’re looking for an ~elevated~ coffee and breakfast (or lunch). The menu is full of interesting and flavorful dishes, like the Turkish eggs. They have the perfect amount of spice and it’s just a more unique dish compared to most standard cafe breakfasts. They have smoothies, sandwiches and toasts too. I always want to try something new, but I love the eggs! Their coffees have tons of options for add-ins and they have a variety of options, like my lavender cream cold brew. Overall the price point is great and I consider this a value, especially with the quality of food (for two poached Turkish eggs it’s only $9). If you’re in the area I highly recommend trying this place out, it doesn’t disappoint!

Yelp
Great place to catch up with a friend or do some work. Few tables and dog treats inside for pets. Ordered their popular egg dish and Uber drink. You can't go wrong. Definitely have patient with food if it's busy.

Yelp
I have driven past Jaiiya Café a gazillion times heading to/from the Edmonds ferry terminal or the downtown retail core. I was a bit early for a pastry pop up at a nearby poké spot, so decided to finally check out Jaiiya Café (3/23/24). I can see why this remains a popular destination. Decent counter service, menu variety, ample indoor and outdoor seating. Nice to see folks gathering to have lively convos and not a sea of laptops. I had a spot on mocha and a heated savory prosciutto & swiss croissant. Sat at the counter seating and just took in the pleasant cafe atmosphere.

Yelp
Jaiiya Cafe is a wonderful place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Coffee is good (spectacularly vita), service is great, there's a lot of seating and a comfortable corner with a couch. The cafe can get busy during lunch peak hour. Everything I've had at Jaiiya is delicious. Great Quality for the quantity. Pictured: salmon lox croissant, shakshuka, ube dalgona

Yelp
Açaí bowl took nearly 15 minutes to come out and a worker was a bit unhelpful when we had asked for an update on it. Wouldn't recommend ordering any food if you're more on the go. Drinks and food were still great and tasty regardless, and our cashier was very sweet :) The wait for the açaí bowl was just off putting as we hadn't planned to be there that long, and upon going through their reviews, it seems the wait is common for their food service.

Nathalie C.

Yelp
I came here for the acai because the weather is scorching outside. It's my first time at Jaiya, tucked right behind Ono Poke, a spot I frequently go to. I'm impressed by how clean the place is and the quick, friendly staff. Their coffee selection is unique, offering flavors like creme brûlée and ube dalgona. My boyfriend opted for the peanut butter bowl while I went for the tropical bowl packed with pineapple, banana, and strawberry. The colors are vibrant and the taste is delightful, perfectly sweet. The peanut butter bowl is a dream for peanut butter enthusiasts. Overall, I highly recommend Jaiya for their acai bowls, priced at around $15 each, and the spot's cleanliness is a definite plus.

Yelp
Went to Jailya Cafe on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I ordered an almond milk crème brûlée latte, Blue Majik, The Classic and The Tropic acai bowls and all were great. The crème brûlée latter, even with almond milk, was really sweet and well balanced. It was a nice, dessert-like coffee drink. Really good. The brûlée'd sugar was a nice treat. The Blue Majik wasn't anything "crazy," but it was a nice, cool treat for a warm Saturday morning/afternoon. Very refreshing. Both acai bowls were very good. Great mixture of different fruits and textures. Sweet, refreshing and really good. I would definitely order again. All-in-all, really good refreshing treats and good coffee.

Chuck N.

Yelp
To the owner: I appreciate you caring about your customer's feedback. Unfortunately, you have the incorrect info. I was NOT there at 9:37. I placed my order at 12:35ish and didn't get my order until 1:01 on a different date. And it's odd how you found me (I have not posted my pic or full name) for you to make the conclusion it was me. I'm sorry but I will not be returning.

Yelp
the food was unique delicious and the servers were nice. this was a fun discovery on the way home from the ferry. Weve driven by a hundred times and will definitely stop again

Fatima U.

Yelp
Making a roadtrip I stopped by a quick coffee, let me just say if I lived here, I would come here regularly! The coffee was made perfectly with the right amount of sweetness and balance. Highly recommend!

katie f.

Yelp
Get the porsuit of happiness n genuinely be happy. I also paired it with the creme brulle coffee iced

Karla B.

Yelp
I mostly come here for their ube dalgona! However, the flavor profile could be a little more consistent...The first few times I got it, the dalgona to ube flavor proportions were PERFECT. But then the rest of the times, there was too much dalgona foam and not as much ube flavor - which was kind of disappointing. I do like their small lounge area with the couch and swivel chairs. I've tried their chorizo bowl - it was small and only okay. But I keep coming back for their ube dalgona for sure! Yum:)

Martin L.

Yelp
This place & everything then offer is your basic food you can find anywhere else. Nothing really sticks out, service wise is not so great either. They need to work on smiling more. Ambiance is nice but like I said, nothing about this place screams amazing.

Diane T.

Yelp
They have a great variety of savory foods, açaí bowls, and coffee (plus drink specials). The açaí bowls are a perfect size for 1 person. My fiancé loved his tropics bowl. He said it's better than the classic bowl. Everything tasted really fresh. I would say the only con is they close early on weekdays at 3:30pm. We can only make it on weekends when they close at 5pm.

Alex N.

Yelp
Very good ube dalgona coffee! Definitely make sure to stir, drinks came out fast, lots of seating inside. I'll be sure to come back!

Channing C.

Yelp
Jaiiya Cafe quickly became my regular spot. From the acai bowls to savory items, it's all top notch. I can't remember the name but my favorite is this croissant sandwich that is made with smoked salmon, arugula, heirloom tomato, and aioli. It is divine and I order it every time. The acai bowls are amazing. I love the tropical one with their toasted homemade granola. I'm not too much a fan of the chorizo bowl. I feel that it is not worth the price that they are charging because its such a small amount. The cafe is not seen from Edmonds Way, but underneath an apartment building. The staff are really nice and its also a great spot to work.

Ciara L.

Yelp
Came in and it's a really cute cafe with ample parking. Customer service was alright. We asked for drink recommendations and it was as if the cashier didn't get that question that much. I went with a vanilla honey lavender latte and my mom went with a matcha latte. Vanilla honey lavender latte was not good. It was really watery and so so sweet. Iced matcha latte was not sweet enough. They also ran out of straws and the lid was weird without a straw like the VSCO girl I am, I had some in the car. Would pass on the drinks. Chorizo bowls were super yummy tho!!!! I think the food is really great!!! Hot sauce tasted like Tapatio. Seating was super cute and seemed like a good place to get some work done. Bathrooms were clean. Overall, I would come again to try other food on the menu, but probably won't get drinks here again.

Steve S.

Yelp
Delicious food, Turkish eggs, açaí bowls, I have tried almost everything there and I have not had any food that wasn't phenomenal! Of course the pastries and coffee are delicious too Super nice and helpful staff too. One of my go to's in Edmonds for sure!

Janet N.

Yelp
I had a majic bowl and it was bombbb. The beautiful blue color was my main reason for ordering this one but the pineapple and kiwi toppings really brought this bowl together. It's been a few days since I came in but I have probably thought about these bowls every day since. I will definitely be making this a regular stop soon!

Alicia W.

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting a friend in this area and she recommended we swing by to pick up a quick togo breakfast from this spot! My friend got The Tropics smoothie bowl, that is her go-to order. I went with The Classic smoothie bowl and my husband got the Prosciutto of Happiness sandwich. The smoothie bowl was delicious! I regularly get smoothie bowls and felt like this one was very creamy which I liked. I could really taste the honey mixed in which was a nice addition! I like how there are still berries and bananas on top that were not blended into the rest of the bowl. My bowl was $11 and it was a nice serving size, I was full for several hours after eating it. My friend's Tropic bowl was also really good when I tried it. I was surprised by the bright pink color when it came out, it was so pretty! My husband said his sandwich was great as well, the egg was poached nicely and the flavors went well together. They also have some pastries; don't pass up the coffee cake! My husband got the berry one and it was sooo good, it was a large piece and it was both spongey and moist. The inside of this place is clean and has plenty of seating. Lots of easy parking options outside in the shared lot. The only downside is we waited longer than I would've expected for our food, probably closer to 15 mins. That's not a super long time, but it felt long when we were just trying to grab and go to eat it at our next stop.

Stacy S.

Yelp
Great service and menu. I loved what I ordered and wish I lived closer to go try more beverages and food options. I also wish that everything I ordered was in reusable serveware since I was dining in...

Casey C.

Yelp
I came on a rainy day to get a little snack and coffee here and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and I thought the acai bowls were well priced at $11 (I may be biased though, because I live in Seattle and all the food here feels overpriced.) I got the regular acai bowl and although I'm not a fan of almond milk in things, this was delicious! It tasted like it was mainly banana based and they didn't skimp on the fresh toppings! My boyfriend got an iced mocha and it was very good-- not too sweet! We sat on some cozy couches although we only waited about 5-7 minutes for everything :)

Carly C.

Yelp
Clean, nice enough staff, food was quality ingredients. I think they're strong suit is the really nice presentation of everything. Seems like the café is kept clean, and there is multiple seating options! I recommend trying at least once!

Maricor C.

Yelp
I wish this place wasn't so far from me. It's about an hour drive coming from Kent, but I wouldn't mind making the trip every month or so. First off, this would make a solid study/work spot. Coffee and other options looked phenomenal and will certainly keep you fueled. I can see myself really loving it here for long study sessions, especially when I need to get stuff done and don't want the easy out of sneaking back home or the fuss of parking in downtown Seattle. Vibe here is perfect to find a little corner and chill/work for a few hours. Bring a book for the couch and/or sit by the window close to the other end of the shop and chill with some headphones. Açaí was yummy; not a home run, but it'll do for a local girl from Hawaii missing home. I am hoping to find a place here in WA that offers plain sorbet as the base. Jaiiya uses açaí packets and they blend with bananas and/or mangoes or other fruit to give the base some body. Not awful, just not my preference. Any local peeps know where to find açaí sorbet? Or least a place that offers it? Otherwise, the Seattle granola was wonderful for the crunch. I always love goji berries, and I requested some PB drizzle atop my Classic açaí. I should have added cacao nibs to bring a bit of bitter to cut the sweet. Nonetheless, a solid açaí bowl offering. My açaí bowl itch has been scratched. Cardamom Hemp Latte - delish. I love hemp milk for lattes, less viscous than oat milk, and creamier than almond milk. With the floral notes of the cardamom, it was a perfect warm drink to enjoy the rain and cut the sweet of the açaí. Overall, solid cafe. Will be back! I second another reviewers point on Ono and Jaiiya being a well-paired day of healthy-ish indulgence! (Jaiiya was dessert for me after grabbing a poke bowl) :)

Chris J.

Yelp
I live like 35 minutes away but I still like to find excuses to come all the way out to Edmonds to my favorite acai bowl cafe where I can get great coffee and turkish menemen before heading over to the ferry to hit the islands. Some of the sweetest folks working here with such a rad and high-quality menu offfering that is unique among these kind of acai bowl cafes that I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area (or even if you're not, as in my case!).

Crista M.

Yelp
BEST ACAI BOWL AROUND!!! I would recommend this place to anybody. Friendly staff, welcoming environment, great food and drinks!!

Vanessa N.

Yelp
Closes at 4pm on Sundays fyi, came after 4 to find out . Updating hours online might be a good idea

Svitlana S.

Yelp
Was here yesterday ordered drip coffee but they was out but workers propose me Americano. Was pretty good a little overpriced but not bad. Nice workers very friendly. Recommend this place

Kevin S.

Yelp
Açai bowls are hard to find in Seattle, made in the classic Hawaiian style. I had been searching all of north Seattle and finally found the place to visit for this healthy treat. So glad they are here in Edmonds.

Amanda Marie M.

Yelp
I love going to Jaiiya Cafe for a light brunch or afternoon treat! I've tried several different drinks, smoothies, and acai bowls and have genuinely enjoyed everything. I recommend previewing the menu before going - this is a fairly specific menu that may not have options favorable or or interest to all. Service is accurate and friendly, though sometimes there's only one (always patient and kind!) person behind the counter. I find my experience is best when I have ample time to wait for my food/drink and enjoy it onsite.

KimNey N.

Yelp
Power protein bowl sooo yummy I went back the next day. Cute small place. Service normal.

Karen F.

Yelp
My daughter and I visited this establishment for some açaí bowls, but our experience was very disappointing. The customer service was poor, and it felt like we were treated differently because of our race. I will not be coming back.

Kristen Z.

Yelp
Used to love this place for the açaí bowls and Turkish eggs. Made the trip yesterday because I was craving Turkish eggs, arrived at 2:30 and was told the kitchen closes at 2 pm, per the website the kitchen closes at 3 pm. Disappointed, we alerted the barista to the discrepancy in the website which she said she has no control over. We specifically made the trip for food and settled on a macchiato - really sour. Bummed as I used to consider this place a gem!

Luly P.

Yelp
An irresistible hidden gem! The Ube Dalgona and Prosciutto Happiness had my husband and I coming back a few days a week. The fruit smoothie bowls are delightfully sugar packed and come with plenty of toppings. The avocado toast is surprisingly spicy and has a variety of unique toppings like walnuts and everything bagel seasoning. The food takes about 10-15 minutes to prepare since it's made just for you by the wonderful staff. The place has your average coffee shop feel but not too personal. They have a Friends style couch corner patrons tend to gravitate towards. Really loved this local spot and highly recommend it for others passing through the neighborhood.

Shannon T.

Yelp
Very refreshing bowls and their coffee was great as well! All the ingredients tasted fresh! Stopped by on our trip to Washington and I would definitely go back! Good parking, easy to find! Update: literally came back the next day to try a different bowl & coffee and was not disappointed!

Dianna N.

Yelp
COVID-19: We were allowed to enjoy our goodies inside on 9.18.20. We were the only customers to sit in though, and I think just one other person came in to order while we were there. This was at 4:30 PM so almost closing time. I'm unsure if dine in would be more limited if there had been more people. Parking: The plaza it's located in has a parking lot. PB Power Bowl $8.75: I first tried acai bowls in Oahu so that's pretty hard to top. While Oahu still has first place in my heart and stomach, I still enjoyed our bowl at Jaiiya. I thought one bowl was good for sharing between 2 people. The topping to acai ratio was great and I got a good mix with each bite. Cheese Danish $2.75: I felt compelled to order this because I missed out on a cheese Danish at a different bakery I went to a couple days prior. The cashier offered to warm it up for me which was really nice. It was OK. I wouldn't come back specifically for it, but if it was there and I was in the mood for one then sure. Dalgona $4.75: I had seen this drink all over social media but was too lazy to make it myself. I was happy to finally get the opportunity to try one without the effort, but honestly I don't get the hype. At least now I know. Each coffee drink seems to come with a Biscoff cookie which is nice. This drink does not have a decaf option, but the cashier wrote that feedback down so she could let the owner know. I thought that was super cool to make sure customer ideas are considered! ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. Just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars - Meh. Unlikely for me to return. 3 Stars - OK. Open to coming back, but wouldn't go out of my way to. 4 Stars - Yummy! Will definitely return if I haven't already. 5 Stars - AMAZING!!! Would plan my day or even a trip around eating here.

Amy V.

Yelp
My sister introduced us to these super delicious bowls when we were up in Edmonds. This was such a delicious breakfast. I really enjoyed my galaxy bowl and loved all of the fruit and the granola in it! If you're in the area, stop by Jaiiya Cafe and get yourself one of their yummy bowls! They have coffee and other food options as well!

Luisa B.

Yelp
We tried their açaí bowls here this week and we absolutely loved them. The texture is smooth and not icy like some others we've had. Didn't get any coffee but all their options looked delicious. Great spot for the locals!

Miki C.

Yelp
Yummy açaí bowls!! The place is family run so be patient and kind. They are my go-to for local acai bowls.

Monica K.

Yelp
The iced mocha I got was absolutely delicious. However, I wouldn't try the ube dalgona again, it had a strange bitterness that we didn't enjoy. It's unique and beautiful though! I really wanted to like this place more. It's a great location with a small outdoor area with enough parking. The coffee is good. My main issue was with their online ordering system (and the service of one staff member). I ordered online at 1:30pm, which told me my order would be ready in 15 mins (1:45pm). I was in a hurry and didn't have much time to get off my car and wait, which was why I did the online order. Immediately, at 1:30pm, I got a text saying my order was ready to be picked up. Well, I planned to be there at 1:45pm, so I was concerned that the drinks would be sitting on the counter for 15 mins. When I arrived at 1:45pm, there was no one in line. I asked for my order, and 3 staff members looked around a bit, then said "oh ok, we'll make your drinks now". I said "oh I thought I could just pick up and go", obviously looking like I was in a rush. I ended up standing around for 10 mins as one of the baristas made my 2 drinks VERY SLOWLY. She really took her time looking and reaching for what seemed like basic things to make the drinks... I will come back for their drinks but I'm not sure about their speed and service (maybe it was a one off?)

Dan T.

Yelp
Please keep in mind I'm a designer who's been to many many shops in Seattle, Berlin, and Portland and my review is coming directly from my experience. The coffee is some of the best in the area. Not overly dark roasted (which is rare for Edmonds) and the shots are wonderfully pulled. It's also the only place in the area that you can get a pour-over. Not quite a craft coffee bar but close. The food is excellent and the treats (especially the Finale's banana bread) go perfectly with the coffee. However the shop lacks vibe. I don't feel welcomed by the ambiance, music, and layout. It doesn't feel like there's a cohesive theme behind it. The closest thing to this is the comfy couch in the corner but other than that it feels kind of like a Jamba Juice. I think it has all the potential for vibe though. The new foliage out front is making the area feel more like an oasis rather than a parking lot, the coffee is so good it could easily be paired with a chill and refined atmosphere. I'm very optimistic about this team bringing wonderful mouth content to an area so close to my home and I'm excited to see it grow.

Sara V.

Yelp
Really nice cafe- super clean and dare I say- Trendy! My friend and I got the gorgeous and delicious Galaxy Bowls, a Dalgona coffee and an ice coffee. It was summer at the time and we enjoyed the outdoor seating area and garden. (On another visit I tried working on my laptop there and had a nice time, the big windows offer great light exposure and it's usually not too loud inside - they have outlets and a water refill station available too! I got their soft poached Turkish Eggs dish and that was super garlic forward so be warned haha.)

Sim L.

Yelp
Power bowl is delicious and the peanut butter base with added peanut butter drizzle makes it awesome. Big props to the staff!

Vicki H.

Yelp
I was craving a bagel with Lox and for some reason Edmonds has a shortage of places with that on the menu. I found this place after a quick search and was pretty excited about the menu. I ended up ordering a few more things than I intended but I couldn't choose. I'll be a frequent customer. The acai bowl and the bagel and lox sandwich were great. The Chai was delicious. Great stuff!

Catherine M.

Yelp
I loved this cafe!! The vibe is perfect! They have indoor eating and some tables outside. The baked goods on display were enticing. The banana bread was alright but I also got a bagel with cheese on top for later...that was so good!! The blue majik bowl was so refreshing and not heavy. It really hit the spot! The overnight oats were so delicious and a lot more filling! So if you want a hearty but still healthy breakfast, go with the overnight oats. The ube dalgona was amazing! I just wish it had a little more ube in it! I can't wait to come back here. Next up, I need to try some of the savory items. I see avocado toast in my future.

Lori P.

Yelp
Great find! A friend of mine is going through cancer treatment and was looking for something that packed a lot of nutrients but also tasted good. I have brought her a couple different açaí bowls from here and she loves them (so do I).

Nicole D.

Yelp
Those yogurt bowls!!! Love love love this place is a gem. The atmosphere is so friendly, parking! It's a great spot

Rohan T.

Yelp
Nice cafe with awesome view and not to mention amazing food!!! We came here for lunch- and would come again! The prosciutto happiness sandwich was amazing and the Turkish eggs (totally must try ) The turmeric chai is mind blowing!!! And surprisingly the coffee is great!! We are gonna be back to try more stuff!

Wesley S.

Yelp
Fantastic overnight oats and scones - other bowls looks bright but still nutritious. Inside was nice and quiet, and service was very kind and relatively fast.

Lori G.

Yelp
Wow! I love this place! I got the honey lavender latte and David's Lox Sammy. Fast, friendly service and delicious food. Try them out!
