¡Jaime! Taqueria & Breakfast Burritos

Cute spot, esthetically pleasing. If you are ordering they have a kiosk that you walk up to - cashless establishment. The kiosk is right at the entrance I feel this is such a tight space they need to move it. Idk where but when you are ordering you have people brushing past you. The filet breakfast burrito was tasty, love the cheese on the outside that’s a nice touch! The cilantro crema sauce was also very tasty and complimented the burrito well. All in all very good.

I got the birria breakfast burrito and I enjoyed it very much. The eggs were a nice soft scramble but with very little birria and avocado. This is not a bad thing because if too much was in the burrito it would have been overstuffed and too much to eat. The tortilla was also very good and you can taste the authenticity. The salsa roja was mild and meant more for flavor rather than spice. If you live in the area this should be a go to spot but if you don’t there will most likely be other breakfast burrito places you could try near where you reside.

I had the Birria Breakfast Burrito - Cheese crusted tortilla, tater tots, scrambled eggs, artisan cheese, avocado, queso fresco. It comes with consome and cilantro crema sauce. Birria was lumpy and lacking flavor. Consome was rich and the Cilantro Crema was light. I liked the burrito but it wasn’t spectacular, maybe a mid average. For the price, I expect to be loaded. The service was also average.

Wow! Jaime really goes above and beyond! I had my birthday dinner here and enjoyed everything we tried! I had the beef cheek quesabirria and the filet mignon tacos, both were 10/10. The Tres Leches was delicious as well. Service, food, atmosphere- all 10/10!

We’ve been a big fan of Jame so we were pumped to try Jaime! We got a reservation for happy hour and glad we did. Decent happy hour menu, the tacos were really good, I got one of each. The guac was ok, I prefer more chunky but was style solid. The happy hour margs are decent for the price. They’re still working out their service links but everyone else a super nice. We will definitely come back to try the full menu. Great addition to downtown Gundo!

EXCELLENT experience. We got the filet bfast burrito and the pineapple and passionfruit agua Fresca ….. incredible. And the service is awesome! Johnny is amazing !! 10/10!!

I’ve now dined here three times and will continue coming back ! The shrimp aguachiles is a generous portion for the price and I highly recommend ordering it. I prefer it over the ceviche because it has a much more bold flavor. The tacos are good but not the best for price in the area. The chicken taco is my favorite of them but it’s rather traditional. Most of the other items on their menu are a pinch expensive for what you’re getting … the kale salad is good for some roughage. The service is prompt and I enjoy sitting outside. I wish they would add a burrito to the dinner menu.

Wanted to try out Jaime because i’ve been such a fan of Jame down the street. I found Jaime to be incredibly overpriced for what it is—all of their taco plates, which come with two tacos (though on the larger side) and your choice of EITHER rice or beans (really?? you’re not going to give us both?) are over $20. The tortillas on my two tacos were crumbling and the rice I ordered came in a small 3 oz cup. I was really blown away by the skimping on rice and beans. Seems like such a cheap way to bulk up an overpriced taco plate. Service was slow and inattentive—which was surprising for a slow Wednesday night. This is a nitpick, but the menu was hard to read? A lot of text in light pink and green. It seems like a lot of effort was put into the aesthetics of the restaurant and less into the thoughtfulness of the menu and the execution of dishes. I get that this is El Segundo and rent can’t be cheap but it feels unforgivable to charge $23 for two mediocre tacos.

We ordered the bacon, birria, and carnitas breakfast burritos. The bacon was good but needed more bacon, there definitely was not some in every bite. But we did love the amount of avocado in all of the burritos and the cheese on the outside of it. The carnitas one was a little dry, but the amount of meat was really good. The birria one was out favorite and we loved the consome it came with! Of the sauces they came with the cilantro crema and habanero salsa were our favorites, very flavorful. The chipotle one did not has as strong of a flavor we usually like. We ordered for pick up, but our food was really super quickly and we definitely want to go back for lunch/dinner. The restaurant itself was super cute, loved the color scheme.

¡Jaime! Taqueria - All Service, No Seasoning! I had high expectations for ¡Jaime! Taqueria, partly because we share a name and partly due to the hype. While the ambience is "upscale taqueria" with a nice bar and a nice patio, the music was a bit too loud for comfort or to have a conversation. The staff saved the experience. They were attentive and kind--especially helpful since my dining guest was 55 minutes late. Unfortunately, the service is the only reason this place gets any stars, because the food was beyond mediocre. The food was a series of disappointments, starting with the $9 "Happy Hour" guacamole, which was a textbook case of shrinkflation--a tiny, sample-sized portion that completely lacked seasoning. The drinks didn't fare much better, as the $9 Pepino Aqua Fresca was aggressively sweet, though my guest did enjoy her $18 mojito. As for the main event, the $22 Carnitas Tacos were remarkably bland, served on tortillas that felt chewy and cardboard-like. Altogether, the meal felt like a pricey, fast-casual imitation of Mexican food that simply didn't justify the cost. At these prices, the value just isn't there. You can get a Michelin-level meal at Holbox or authentic, flavorful gems at Sonoratown, Leo's, or Taco Social for a fraction of the cost. Save your money. Skip the ¡Jaime! name and hit your local truck or street stand instead.

So having tried their dinner menu-- the tacos are good-- so I tried their breakfast burrito. We enjoyed the dinner items, so I was hoping to be wowed. I got the carnitas burriot-- without potatoes, as a take out and waited a short 5-10 minutes. I could feel the heft in the bag as I left. The verdict: very good, smoky carnitas, not too greasy, plentiful eggs, nice chipotle sauce. I'll definitely come back and check out their other breakfast items.

Well darn. Jame, their Italian spot is one of my favorite restaurants ever. So I was excited to try Jaime! First off, kind of bummed that it wasn't fast casual. I wish it was the kind of place you could just grab a coffee and a pastry in the morning and a taco for lunch without sitting down and ordering. I sat at the bar and ordered. It was lovely but also felt backward during the day. I ordered two tacos, the chicken and the shrimp... which came with refried beans. Honestly, if I had my eyes closed I would not have been able to tell which taco was which. They tasted extremely similar. Even the cool, burnt cheese disc on the shrimp taco was extremely bland. Not sure what they're doing wrong here but they are doing something wrong. Bland city. Unfortunately, I will never go back. They really should just stick to Italian.

My husband and I had such a great time at Jaime! Johnny and Adrian have such amazing staff. They were super attentive. We love going and getting the queso fundido. Do not skip out on that. As for drinks you can never go wrong with the Classico marg and the Despacito. Ambiance is soo cute. Can dress up or go casual. We will definitely be back to try the viral breakfast burrito!

I've tried at least 5-10 breakfast burritos in the South Bay and recently got to try two from ¡Jaime! Taqueria this past week. I can confidently say they were some of the best breakfast burritos I've had all year and they don't break the bank. I do enjoy the Baran's breakfast burrito from Tigres Fuego, but it's definitely not as economical and you can't customize the burritos. I feel like Jaime Taqueria's breakfast burritos standout for a couple reasons - avocado in every burrito, a generous portion of meat, and $12-15 price points. I've only been once, but I definitely will keep coming back even though it's a little farther from me. Ordering and pickup was a breeze too through the online Toast app. Breakfast burritos: - Birria breakfast burrito - both burritos were packed with a lot of meat, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The birria was flavorful and pretty soft as well, sometimes birria meat can be tough but I heard they use the beef cheek. The eggs in these burritos are heavenly - a soft-scramble with so much flavor. I also love how they grill the cheese on the outside too. - Carnitas breakfast burrito - Carnitas was similarly delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. I can't decide which one I like better, but I am partial to carnitas in general. They do a great job of packing the burrito so you get a little bit of everything in each bite instead of having one ingredient stuck on one side. Salsas: - Cilantro Crema - I watched a video and heard this one was the best sauce. It definitely did not disappoint! A good kick but also very creamy. Went very well with the burritos. - Chipotle Aioli - this one was a little underwhelming. it didn't have much flavor overall, just creamy. Overall, the breakfast burritos here blew my mind! I only tried takeout, so I might need to sit down for breakfast in person to get the full experience. There are also two more types of breakfast burritos I want to try as well - the filet mignon and bacon! Looking forward to coming back here.

This is the sister restaurant to Jame Enoteca, so I had to try its take on Mexican food! I really love this spot and its menu is so good! Everything on the menu is really great, but I'm partial to the breakfast burritos and the sweet corn tamales, which I get every time I'm there. Hands down, this is my favorite thing on the menu and such a must-try. If you pick anything to get at Jaime, get this. If you have a group and they love spicy stuff, highly recommend the Chef's Salsa bar so you can try all the spicy sauces with chips. Street parking isn't a problem and the servers are always wonderful! Such a joy to come down and eat here. Worth a visit to El Segundo!

We came here for Sunday brunch. I had been wanting to try this place since it opened and we finally made it. We sat in the corner on the patio, shortly after noon and the sun was at the perfect angle. The glass windows help block the wind, while the plants protect from direct sun, creating this lovely atmosphere to sit and enjoy a great meal with great conversations. The hostess, and overall service, is exceptional. Very warm, inviting with great recommendations for food and beverages. We tried the Guacamole Maizena, sweet corn tamales, egg & cheese breakfast burrito, carnitas breakfast burrito and a Hangover bowl. Every item was plated in an appetizing manner and flavor that matched the presentation. This place is a wonderful addition to Main St and the restaurants in the area.

I want to start off by talking about leadership and staff development. Johnny and Adrian both are doing a phenomenal job in leading their staff at Jaime!! My husband and I had great time. The hospitality was impeccable. Let's get to the food, do not skip out the queso fundido!! Thank me later. SO GOOOOD!! The birria tacos delish and the skirt steak also delish! Flavor is amazing! As for drinks, DESPACITO another delish! And can never go wrong with Classico marg! The ambiance very cute!! You can either dress up or casual and fit right in! We love coming here. Again, especially for the queso fundido! We will be back to try the viral breakfast burrito!

Spectacular Breakfast Burrito I'm in the LAX area 2-3 times/month for breakfast and have been loyal to Eat Fantastic Cafe for years. This place is now added to the list of reliable Breakfast options near the airport. From 8-11am its takeout only with a limited menu but the place looks like a perfect date option. Nice chairs, a bar area and everything appears remodeled. The breakfast burrito was filling. I was starving and couldn't finish in one sitting. Ingredients were fresh and taste. The melted on cheese outer layer and carne asada filet options for breakfast take this burrito to the next level. I will be back.

Summary: Nice vibe, friendly and attentive service, quality ingredients, and decent taco Tuesday value. Highly recommend the quesabirria, and the chips and salsa are endless after the initial $5 purchase (yay!). The shrimp gobernador taco was good, but the shredded cabbage was a strange addition, and the charred cheese slice on the tortilla was off-putting for some members of our party. The mushroom pastor was decent too, but the flavor profile wasn't quite doing it for me. We were given four salsa options with the chips, and all were good, but nothing particularly spicy. The normal prices for each taco are way high, so taco Tuesday makes it more palatable, for sure.

I had pretty high expectations for this taqueria since the prices on the menu are on the higher side and I'm happy to report that they did not disappoint! I came here on Taco Tuesday with a fellow Yelper as we both had this place on our list of places to try. We didn't have a reservation but were seated right away. There's outside as well as indoor seating. It's a very fun and lively atmosphere-colorful walks and artwork. Back to the food, we decided to try every taco on the Taco Tuesday menu (price varies depending on the taco) and the guacamole flight ($24) I was excited to see there were different types of guacamole and that we can taste them all. Three types of guacamole came in the flight and each had a distinct flavor profile. The three flavors that came in the guacamole trio were Jaime, Crunchy, and Maizena. Jaime was very cheese-forward and zesty, this was my favorite. Crunchy had a smoky flavor, and Maizena had some fun crunchy corn toppings. The amount of guacamole that came in the trio was a little on the smaller side. As mentioned earlier, we got each of the eight tacos on the Taco Tuesday menu to share. Each taco was presented very beautifully and they each tasted like a lot of thought was put into the presentation and the flavors. My favorite was beef cheek quesabirria but the Baja fish, shrimp, and surprisingly the chicken were all a close second. Chicken tacos normally don't sound appealing to me but our super sweet server mentioned it was really popular and you can tell why. The marinade was bright and flavorful. Although we were both quite full, we couldn't leave without trying some dessert. We ordered the dulce de leche cake and it was just the right amount of sweet and such a nice way to end the evening. I certainly ate way too much but it was so worth it! I look forward to going back for more tacos and trying their happy hour.

I got the carne asada breakfast burrito with a side of chipotle aioli. The chipotle sauce was a bit too mayo heavy. The steak was also way too tough and overdone. Would opt for a more shredded meat. Great cheese sizzle on the tortilla and the tater tots were crispy! Guac was good but small little bowl. Rice was also fine. Elote was good but spicy. Nice ambiance inside. You order at a kiosk.

After reading the good reviews I thought I'd try the restaurant after having a nearby massage. It's late afternoon and place had one customer at the bar. Ordered 2 burritos...one egg and cheese and a carnitas plus a side of street corn. Burritos were very large and tasty but it took a little while to get the corn. Server didn't once check on us. Too busy talking to the guy at the bar. Had to get his attention to get a box and the check . It wasn't until I got in the car that I realized the bill said I got a birria burrito.So with that in mind and the poor service I doubt if I will return to this place.

Taco Tuesday at Jaime Taqueria is a good vibe! Greats deals on delicious tacos. Parking is on the street, in the neighborhood as there's only 2 spots in the front. The entrance is also hard to see if cars are parked in the two spots in front. Enter alongside the wall with the mural. Cute decor. Loved the wallpaper! Staff is really nice. I forget the name of our server, but she was awesome! Back to the food. The guacamole trio was great! So many fun combos: Parmesan, black garlic chili (my fave), sweet and crunchy corn, all served with tortilla chips. We ordered one of each taco and split it so we could them all. Burria- fave taco of all, SO good Carnitas- another good flavorful taco Filet- Good flavor, needs to be more tender Shrimp- good but needs more shrimp Fish- nice big piece of fish and great flavor Chicken- very flavorful, pretty good Mushroom- not good flavor Potato- best option for vegetarians Tres leche cake was good, but too sweet for my taste. Definitely coming back to try more dishes.

Eat the queso and eat some more. That could have been my whole dinner. We all had the great tacos--think we tried both beef, the carnitas, the shrimp and fish. Really good. Also had a corn side and avocado corn side. Different! Really good. Nice server. Cool patio space with appropriate heat for November. We all left super full and satisfied.

The appetizers were good. Had the Esquite , queso fundido which we get every time, and the sweet corn tamales. All amazing.The tacos were okay if I were to chose my favorite it would be the shrimp taco. Had the wedding cookies which are just perfect butter cookies and a waiter very kind made my cortado with a cute heart. The service overall was phenomenal, we had the pleasure to be hosted by Dino who was very attentive and helpful.

Given the prices, which are high, the general food quality at Jaime's is, well, not great. We had the shrimp tacos, birria tacos, guacamole and the caesar salad. The salad was flavorless. Something i don't expect with. caesar. The cornbread croutons were spongey. The tacos lacked flavor. The only thing we really liked were the refried beans. Though they were a bit on the tepid side. A little sad. But on the positive side, the space was nice. just not nice enough to lift up the mediocre food.

Came here for dinner before our Suns vs. Clippers game. We were immediately seated since we were able to make reservations. Our server immediately greeted us upon sitting and then followed up with taking our food order. He was friendly and checked on us regularly and even gave me an opportunity try/taste their habanero salsa. We started off with their guacamole topped with garlic chili oil, which i thought was a unique fusion of flavors. We also order their sweet corn esquites (street corn) for the table. I tried 2 of their tacos (filet minon & beef cheek). Everything came out fairly quickly upon ordering and all the food was prepared & seasoned properly. The meat was tender too. This is a fairly good size venue with outside seating. I would definitely come back to try other offerings.

Went out looking for a new neighborhood Mexican restaurant as our old standby, La Paz, had closed. Literally stumbled upon Jaime Taqueria as we were cruising around El Segundo. Glad we did. The restaurant was about 50% full and diners looked like they were enjoying themselves. We were seated quickly and our server Dino came up and greeted us. Service was very attentive; he checked in on us at least 4 times during our meal. Ambiance was nice, not your kitschy mom and pop Mexican, but more neighborhood backyard feeling. Food was good and there were abundant choices beyond just tacos. You have to have the freshly made chips and guacamole. We each chose 3 different tacos and all were delicious. I'm glad we didn't order the LA Restaurant week menu as that would have been too much food for us. Good beer and cocktail selection. New favorite for casual Mexican.

Cinco de Mayo 2025... Not sure why all the lame reviews lately, but I loved my visit - and on Cinco De Mayo!!! Reservation for 3 at 6PM - BINGO! No wait, no drama, seated immediately. Special shout to Jaelynn our server, she was outstanding! FAST, friendly and efficient. Cool vibe to the restaurant, it's small but stylish. I found the food beautifully presented, delicious and filling. I tried a trio of tacos - filet mignon, chicken and shrimp - all scrumptious. The potato & cheese taquitos were a standout - we ordered a second plate. Chips and salsa/sauce collection (4) - excellent. Wash it all down with a margarita or a local Mayberry IPA and you're livin' grande! Again, I'm dumbfounded by the lousy Yelp reviews, I loved Jaime Taqueria. 5 stars

The service was exceptional and the food was honestly so good! I'm surprised more people don't know about this spot. LA has a million food options, but this one is truly a hidden gem -- so much so that I felt compelled to hop on Yelp and say this. I got the steak breakfast burrito and the pancakes... both were 10/10. The pancakes were soft like my grandmother's, and that's saying a lot. Portions were great, flavors were on point, everything tasted fresh. And the service? Amazing. My server, Jaelynn, was an absolute doll. If I could request her every single time, I would. She made the whole experience even better. Do yourself a favor and go try this place. You'll thank me later.

I have visited this establishment on several occasions. Each time, the food was served cold, and the service was consistently subpar. On my most recent visit, I found a hair in my meal.

I was definitely skeptical of this spot because it is part of a restaurant group that has mastered Italian cuisine; not Mexican food. But, I started to see hype building online about the breakfast burritos. Went to pick up a couple for me and my wife and I was blown away. All of the flavors are great, the sauces are top notch and the tortilla is fluffy and delicious. But it isn't the melted cheese that set this burrito apart for me, it was the eggs. The eggs in the burrito are expertly prepared and really help to take this dish to the next level. Can't speak to the dining in experience but looking forward to coming back for a proper sit down brunch.

I have to say I was disappointed. We were excited to go because it's the latest from a great semi chain of restaurants (jame is down the street serving pasta), but we will not be back. My taco order came out wrong. When I asked for tapatío, they said they don't have any so they'll bring me habanero sauce.... And then promptly charged me $2 extra for it (if you're going to charge for condiments you have to say something ahead of time). I had a huge stomach ache after the tacos. Service was good. Ambiance was weird but great if you're a dude into busty ladies. Overall, not coming back.

I had low expectations eating at a Mexican restaurant that isn't from a cart or truck and where 2 tacos cost $15! Just seems wrong. With that being said, the food was really good and tasty. Our server, Nick, took care of us and was super hospitable. Honest with recommendations and the amount of food we ordered. I did enjoy my experience for what it is and a reminder to be open minded.

I REALLY wanted this place to make a good first impression, and it almost did. We stopped by shortly after opening so there wasn't a crowd. A couple and their dog waiting for an order on the bench and a small amount of people in and out grabbing bags from inside is all we saw. The staff was really upbeat and friendly which I always appreciate. The interior was really cozy and matched well with the neighborhood. There's a kiosk that makes it easy to order. The menu is simple. We ordered 2 breakfast burritos (receipt/pictures attached). The first one was correct, however the other one was not. There was NO bacon. It was just eggs and tots. Whoever ordered that must have received mine was probably just as unhappy as I was. I'll give them another chance and this time I will check my bag before driving all the way home, only to find disappointment. Mistakes happen and it wasn't worth giving them 4 stars......I hope it doesn't happen again or the update will reflect it.

I want to start by saying we are huge fans of Jame so we couldn't wait to try out the new concept by the same chef in town! Checked out the place this weekend and the food was good, but the prices left a bad taste. We ordered a pretty standard lunch with an appetizer, taco order per person, drinks and a kid's meal and somehow the bill crept up to over a $100, mostly thanks to $12 beers and the need to double the kids meal due to the size. The kids' portion was tiny so we had to double up on that which ended up to cost the same as an adult meal. Service was good and on point. The ambiance left me undecided regarding the self-identification of this place: they had children's menu, changing table at the restroom but some questionable art throughout so not sure if they are trying to be a dude's bar or a family-friendly place. Tacos were flavorful and well-made, no complaints there, but when a casual lunch for a family starts feeling like a fine dining tab, it's hard to justify coming back. There are so many Mexican places around in the area that hit the spot and don't cost that much (especially on drinks). Not sure this place will be in the regular rotation unless they adjust the pricing.

My friend and I decided to try this place Thursday afternoon for lunch. Parking is small, maybe enough for two-three cars to park and one handicap parking spot. There is street parking but beware of the street signs. We walked into the location and greeted by a sign that said "Grab a menu and seat yourself". Easy enough. Not sure if this is the norm or if they have hostess; maybe depends on the time. The bartender took our drink order and food order. Food was delivered pretty quickly. The kitchen can accommodate special food requests of you have allergies or if you prefer certain ingredients on the side. We order 4 tacos. Pictures for reference. - filet mignon $9 - shrimp taco $10 - fish taco $9 - carnitas taco. $9 We ordered the classic guacamole too. $12 The filet mignon was so delicious! I wasn't crazy about the shrimp taco. Shrimp on the small side. My friend said they enjoyed the fish taco and the carnitas were also tasty and not spicy. The decor is super cute! Great spot for a girls brunch!

Love love love this place. Especially on taco Tuesday! The beef cheek is unbelievable!!! The corn guacamole is a must! Make sure to stop by and get some tacos!

First time. The food it's ok. I had the trio guac and basically they all tasted the same. Eh! The taquitos I had were 5/10... the beans were beans, not impressed at all. The only thing I can say is that the waitress came often to ask if everything was good. I came and tried this place and that's it. I don't think I would come back. It's not "real" Mexican

This place is so cute and warm. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable, especially for happy hour. They have indoor and outdoor dining. The waitress was nice and the restaurant also gave my friend a birthday card with the staff signatures and dessert. Parking lot is not big, so street parking will do. I will be back to get more taquitos, tamales, and the Caesar salad was a good portion as a side. Thanks for making my friend birthday special!

Food was delicious. We got the classic guacamole and chips - perfect! I would ask for extra lime since I like mine a little more citrus-y. Potato and Cheese taquitos satisfied my craving - so good! Tacos we got: beef cheek quesabirria (I make this at home and this was delicious!), carnitas were perfect and not too crispy. Plates we ordered: skirt steak, perfectly cooked and delicious; crispy braised pork shank "al pastor" - different but if you close ur eyes and put the sauces on the pork it taste just like al pastor! Overall, great experience. Parking will most likely be street parking. Hostess and waitresses were friendly and enthusiastic. We will definitely be coming back and may just make this our usual spot for good Mexican food! Oh and gotta come here for Taco Tuesday!

A true gem in downtown El Segundo! From the moment we sat down at brkfst by Jaime, we felt taken care of. Our server, Ben, was absolutely wonderful--attentive without being overbearing, full of great energy, and clearly passionate about the food here. He recommended the birria burrito, and let me just say... elite. It's the kind of dish that stops conversation at the table because everyone is too busy enjoying it. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and filling, it's the highlight of the menu. The whole spot feels like a hidden treasure--laid-back but still buzzing with that downtown El Segundo charm. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the food and the experience, from the creative menu to the friendly, genuine service. Places like this are the reason I love supporting local gems. Between the incredible food, Ben's top-tier service, and the easygoing atmosphere, brkfst by Jaime has cemented itself as one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots in the South Bay. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near El Segundo--this place is worth the trip. Also for the Resy Amex people this is one of them ones!!!

Okay, saw the IG video of the breakfast burrito and knew we had to go give it a try. First off ... the breakfast burrito was definitely delicious!! We had the filet mignon n the carnitas and when I say my husband ordered the better burrito ... I'm not exaggerating!! The steak was incredibly yummy! Now ... I'm taking away 2 stars because their ordering system needs improvement. You walk up and outside is a singular kiosk for you to order. Now, I'm someone who does modify items, so kiosks are not my thing, but we did it. It asks if your dining in or taking out, well we were dining in and it ask for you to put your table letter. Ummm, I'm standing outside, no clue what a table letter is and there is no one to ask. So I walk inside while my husband waits at the kiosk (as a line is forming behind him) n I find a letter n give it to him. We pay at the kiosk n walk inside n sit at our table. No one greets you or even speaks to you, no one offers water, napkins, utensils, nothing, you just sit there looking around. Finally someone brings the drinks we ordered to the table. Now, I ordered tea (iced) which they charge an additional dollar for (this is a bit ridiculous but okay that's what I enjoy drinking) sadly, when the tea arrived it appeared to be light brown water with melted ice, which was disappointing. I then found a server bringing out food and I asked for water. My husband however enjoyed his coffee. We continue to wait and eventually someone then brings out our burritos and we had to ask for napkins and utensils. The food is worth the visit and we will definitely go back, however the lack of warmth of personnel of dining in and the whole kiosk thing outside with zero help needs some attention and improvement in my opinion. Hopefully these are just growing pains of a new business -

The food here is outstanding! The restaurant is beautiful and I love that they are now open for breakfast and not just brunch. The tacos are absolutely delicious, as is their chips and salsa as well as the guacamole. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, you can tell it is chef driven with high-quality ingredients. Portions are just right, and you can taste the care and attention to detail that goes into each and every day. The food was made to order quickly and presented beautifully. Highly recommended if you are looking for elevated yet casual Mexican food in the area!

Popped in to try this place since I used to frequent the former restaurant that was here before after work. It was tasty, but overpriced. I was here during happy hour so it was cheaper, but with the way everything is priced individually (tacos, rice, beans, etc.) it adds up quickly. I don't think I would dine here outside of happy hour prices. The chicken taquitos were my favorite thing I ate. Watermelon Maggie was also refreshing.

Loved our breakfast burritos and the horchata latte was very good. Would have been five stars except for the service which was extremely friendly, but very inattentive. Different servers took our beverage and food orders and it took a long time for them to come to our table to see what we needed. We basically needed to flag someone down to place our order after 10 minutes of waiting. I tried the birria breakfast burrito, which comes with a side of consume, and gets wrapped in a layer of cheese crust on the outside of the tortilla. I recommend the chipotle aïoli with this one, as it cuts through the fat of the birria. The cilantro crema it was also good. The burrito was sizable and it was enough for me to take about a quarter of at home for leftovers. I would love to try the Chilaquiles next time. The place was busy, but not packed and it was pretty easy to have conversation other than a couple of crying children.

I stopped by ¡Jaime! Taqueria for their breakfast burrito event, and it absolutely matched the aesthetic they're going for -- modern, colorful, and super inviting. The vibe is perfect for a cute brunch with friends, and the space feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The staff was polite and professional, and everything from the service to the presentation felt clean-cut and elevated. And let me tell you... I just took a bite of the burrito and oh my God -- AMAZING. 10/10. It was so flavorful and perfectly made, like they wrapped it with love. It was honestly one of the best breakfast burritos I've had. I didn't get to try the drinks this time, but their coffee smelled sooo good -- I'll definitely be back for more! Flavor and presentation? 10 out of 10. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito -- and now I'm excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!

I've now dined here three times and will continue coming back ! The shrimp aguachiles is a generous portion for the price and I highly recommend ordering it. I prefer it over the ceviche because it has a much more bold flavor. The tacos are good but not the best for price in the area. The chicken taco is my favorite of them but it's rather traditional. Most of the other items on their menu are a pinch expensive for what you're getting ... the kale salad is good for some roughage. The service is prompt and I enjoy sitting outside. I wish they would add a burrito to the dinner menu.

I decided to go for a solo dinner and sit at the bar. Immediately the vibe was so welcoming and felt warm. Good music and pretty decor. I was waited on by Andrea and Carlitos behind the bar. They made nice conversation and made me an amazing drink. I ordered potato & cheese taquitos and they were DELICIOUS! Not pictured, but I also got a beef cheek birria taco with consume. I ate it so quickly I forgot to take a picture! It was nice to enjoy a place like this. Highly recommend.

I never write reviews, but this is literally the best Mexican food I've ever had! I devoured the chicken achiote taco before I could take a photo. The atmosphere reminds me of a laid back beautiful Puerto Vallarta beach bar, while the cuisine easily rivals the finest Mexican restaurants in presentation, flavor, and originality. Randy is a top class bartender and made me feel like a regular on my first visit. This place should have a line out the door but it seems to be a local secret for now. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

We came here for breakfast at 10 am for the first time and were the only customers there. The server passed by us multiple times without saying "Good morning" or "Hello" and seemed like she was in a hurry to set things up inside, so we just entered our order in the online kiosk. The server didn't tell us what our table letter is (the kiosk asks for it in the end of the order), so we were a bit confused about that. By the time we finally got the server's attention to give us more info about the table letter, the whole order disappeared and we had to do it again (yay!). Her demeanor during the entire meal was polite (yet perfunctory) and not in the least bit warm. As for the food, it was good--nothing too spectacular, as far as burritos are concerned. I had the birria burrito and my husband had the bacon. The cilantro aioli was the star of the show and enhanced the flavor of the food. The portion size was a bit small for the price point and our drinks were made well. It's a pretty restaurant, so you're paying for the location, but I think I could spend my money elsewhere and start my day at a place with a more welcoming vibe.

This restaurant is one of the newest from the restaurateur duo, Chef Jackson Kalb and wife, Melissa. You may know them from their sublimely-good Italian places, Jame, Ospi, et al. It took a few weeks to work out the typical opening kinks, but Jaime is really hitting its stride. I dine here once a week or so. I strongly recommend ordering like this (for two) either for lunch or dinner: get either the pork shank or the ribeye, add chips and one of the three guacamoles or the queso, order both salsas, a side of the red rice, and flour tortillas. These are two of my favorite meals in the entire South Bay and you won't leave hungry. Both the pork shank and the ribeye are big enough to share if you add the sides. And, since you're splitting a main, the bill is very reasonable for a memorably-delicious repast. Managers Julissa and Hillary will make sure you're well taken care of. Bartenders Tatum, Randy & Carlos pour delicious cocktails and are happy to serve your meal at the bar. If you're seated at a table, see if you can sit in Frank's section. The parking lot is small, but street parking is ample and free. Bon Appétit!

I am giving this place 2 stars. Although, the service was good and the decor was nice, this was probably the worst Mexican food and drinks I have ever had. There is absolutely nothing authentic about this place and none of the dishes I had were memorable. For the record, I tried the guac trio and the birria tacos.
