JaJaJa Mexicana - Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"This plant-based Mexican restaurant fromNew Yorkhas landed in Wynwood. At JaJaJa Mexicana, you'll find entirely vegan versions of Mexican classics, like watermelon tuna tostadas, buffalo cauliflower tacos, and enchiladas covered in mole." - Mariana Trabanino

Jajaja is great. The staff were all super welcoming and very knowledgeable with the menu. The food was awesome, and I highly recommended the salsa verde enchiladas. Even if you’re not vegan, don’t sleep on Jajaja for some of the best Mexican food in Miami.

What amazing and tasty food. The spice factor was on point and service was excellent even though the staff was training! Thanks for finally making it here!

A new spot in Wynwood, full of thoughtful details that make for a welcoming and pleasant experience. You can start with a signature cocktail. The dishes are meticulously prepared, with presentation and ingredient combinations that result in surprising and fresh flavors. The prices reflect the quality, portion sizes, and attention to detail of the food.

AMAZING! The food was divine, the atmosphere was cozy with music at the perfect volume, and the service completed our experience. Overall, a nice slice of Mexican culture and vibe.

Not kosher for Orthodox, shomer-kosher Jews. This Wynwood location claims a kosher certificate from the International Kosher Council (IKC), but it does not meet Orthodox kosher standards. IKC is not recognized by most Orthodox Jewish communities, and there is no indication of ongoing Orthodox-level supervision here. While the food may be vegan or pareve, Orthodox kosher consumers should not rely on this certification. Hopefully, the owners will consider switching to a widely respected kosher certification, which would be a positive step for the community.

Went in for lunch time on a Sunday two weeks into them opening, was excited because I’m such a fan of the New York locations! However, left very disappointed. They were out of multiple menu items, and getting our drinks & starter took 30+ minutes. There were only two people working the floor, it was very understaffed and just not being run that well. Hopefully they get it together!
