Best cheese steak in Denver! The wings and burgers are great as well. Awesome staff and super fun dive bar atmosphere full of locals. I've caught some great live music on the weekends and always have a great time.

One of the best bars in Arvada! Bartenders are phenomenal and make you feel at home. The smoker puts out fantastic BBQ and free poker is so fun. Thanks JAKES!

I am a second generation patron here. My dad has been here since it's last owners. This is a great place to let off some steam especially if you ride. There are some heat bartenders and patrons here once you get to know them you will come back. Food is amazing for a small bar and great for a quick stop.

It’s a dive - but that is a good thing! Great local place. The food is fresh. They make a mean Philly Cheesesteak. The hand cut fries were done right. Very friendly staff. Fun place to hang out.

Love this place. So glad Randy is back hosting karaoke on Thursday nights. Good food and reasonable prices.

The bartenders are really nice. The kitchen is talked about more than the drinks on their menu. Everyone just kinda hangs out. Never had a bad time here. The back patio is really nice too. Definitely my favorite dive. Check them out! I know you'll be back again.

This place is a great dive which is a dying breed especially with the personalized service and ice cold beer and the Hatch green Chile was amazing!

Total dive bar (in the best way) but you won't find a better cheesesteak with hand cut fries in town. The service is quick, and it always hits the spot!

Jake's roadhouse has been around for a long time. I have always enjoyed stopping in to hear a band or check out the menu. I do have a girlfriend that bartends there so I will stop in occasionally to say hello. I've always had a good time there. It's really comfortable inside or even outside on the patio and their food is a lot on a plate very plentiful and the Prices are just right. They have live bands, and other things going on all the time so if you get an opportunity stop in and check it out sometime. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time....

This place is amazing and my nephew works here Thursdays and Sundays. She is a very outgoing person and makes the business more pleasant to be in. They have great food and they play poker. Texas hold them on the weekends.

A dirty, grimey place with great staff very friendly and always very nice We've been in several times four the outstanding Philly cheesesteak sandwiches that are hefty and tasty. The fries our skin on as if they've cut them fresh and the onion rings are crispy and crunchy like they should be. Definitely a place of various culture and a great place to watch interesting people while you're eating

Visited for the first time Friday night to hear my friend's band. The outside and inside are not impressive but don't judge a book by its cover. It is very relaxing and the people who work there were always hustling and serving guests. They were also extremely friendly and attentive to all customers. Stephanie was awesome behind the bar and hustling to serve customers sitting at tables. She is a doll. The beer was cold and it seemed everyone who ordered food ate everything they served. Will be back.

Love jakes Friday good vibes and good employees. The jalapeño poppers are a must and breakfast is delicious.

Jake's is my go to place for burgers and beers. The place is always filled with great people and good times. The first time I went to Jake's was a few months ago with a buddy of mine. It was a Thursday evening which is also Karaoke night. We met some great bar buddies, ate a great burger, and had two rounds of shots bought for us by strangers. It was a great night!

Great service every time we go, bar tenders always take good care of the customers. They recently added barbecue to their menu and it's some of the best I've ever had. We ordered the brisket and it was melt in your mouth good. If you want a drink and good food without having to spend an arm and a leg this is a great place to go

Jake's roadhouse is one of the only places we can get a drink at 7-8am. Working overnights, morning are my evenings and getting a drink in the am is normal. I believe the gentleman we've met in the mornings is named Travis. He's very nice, friendly and welcoming. His customer service is great and he always remembers me and the drink I order.

Great bar, so good we ended the night here FIVE nights in a row! Total "Roadhouse" style with a huge dirt parking lot in the front, park in the back if you know what I mean. Nice bar inside with two pool tables adjacent along with many high top tables and a big stage set the tone. The place is clean, the pool tables are high quality and in good shape and the sound system is great! What more can you ask for? How about great service... Stephanie is all about that! Super nice, quick & never will leave you without a full Budweiser or Jager shot. All the other bartenders are very nice as well, they said. Patrons range from mainly locals from Arvada to dressed up hussies finishing off the night HERE! Plenty of good looking women lurking around believe it or not. Live Music on the weekends as well as Karaoke on Thursday make it a must stop joint/ trust me. Don't expect much on Karaoke Night because most simply CAN'T sing so bring your vocal cords and give it a shot! BYE PS- They open at 7AM!

Cheese steaks & Burgers are the best in the neighborhood. Nothing better than grabbing a cold bud light and hot meal on a Friday afternoon. Great waitstaff and jukebox. Can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy the patio!

Jake's Roadhouse is a dive/motorcycle bar with a live music scene that doesn't disappoint. The menu features Philly cheesesteaks, Mexican and some pub food that is pretty standard. I had the green chili soup that's homemade and good and spicy. My husband had chicken fingers. It was a nice meal and our server was awesome. Definitely hit the spot!

Came in on a Sunday and had a good time. Good classic rock cover band, good drinks and good food. Nice patio as well. Also, good prices and value.

We wanted to enjoy a beer and a patio on a beautiful day. Unfortunately, we sat on a dated patio while people sitting at the rundown outdoor bar smoked weed. Nothing was said by employees. Terrible and never again.

I've had family work here my whole life. It's a great place to come. The bikers who come here are great to talk to and always have the best stories. And the owner, Doug has always been nice.

I just moved to Arvada which, after spending the last 3 years living in the center of Denver, has been quite the culture shock/ adjustment. Craving a little taste of nightlife, I decided to go to Jake's the other night, which is just down the street from my new place. I walked in and saddled up to the bar ordered the Sam Adams summer seasonal (btw, not a bad summer beer) and started checking the place out. At first glance, it looks to be a standard suburbs bar. A little divey, but still clean. The bartender that night was very friendly and organized. From what I can tell, she was the only one working and she had everyone in there served within minutes. I ordered the mushroom and swiss burger and was not disappointed. It was really good! What really made this bar a great experience was the crowd, which, at first glance, you might think was a standard bar crowd, but they were incredibly friendly. Within 10 minutes I was having a conversation with someone and after an hour, I was up singing karaoke. In short, I went in for dinner and a beer and ended up staying for four hours having a great time with new friends. I'm a firm believer that a restaurant/bar takes on the vibe that its owner gives off, so the owners of this place must be some awesome, friendly people. I can't wait for summers on their patio!

I love Jake's Roadhouse! I stopped there one night after I had a friend over, because it is in walking distance and I wanted to check it out! The first night was interesting, there was a band, reminded me of Joe Cocker, it was loud, there were pool tables, a nice bar, an outside area to eat and drink. We were hungry and thought we could grab a bite to eat. Surprisingly the staff was so nice. we got food, there was a biker party going on. That was fun. We were taken care of. I went there another night, it was much later, there were a few people there, I sat and talked to the bartender for awhile I have to say he is really a nice guy. I am new here getting to know my surroundings. The last time I was there I went after a show. I have to say I was a little down, the typical bar story. I went over to see if they were still open because it was so late. I just wasn't ready to go home. There was seven other people there, I had a great time talking to new people and getting my mind of parts of the evening I had just had. There really are some of the nicest people I have meet there. Not only that it is close. I like that spot. It may not be for everyone but it is right up my alley!

This is such a fun place! Felt very welcomed, everyone was so nice, great live music, pool tables, and good drink specials! Cool patio for any gameday! Try it out!

Jake's Roadhouse Rules. There's really no other way to say it. This is the best bar in Arvada. We went bar hopping around Olde Town last weekend and the best time was had at Jake's. Jake's is a place you would never even consider visiting unless you were a local, but it is definitely full of pleasant surprises. We were ordering up Jack and Cokes and they served them up in pint glasses. Delicious and a lot of drink for not a lot of cash. Even though our servers have been the grizzled-neck-tattoo-biker type they always have been polite and nice as you can find anywhere. The music selection on the juke is always pretty good. I've yet to be here late enough for the live music and the knife fights in the parking lot, but we're planning a trip of it tomorrow night so I will report back!

I heart this place. Seriously. No joke, I love the people that work here and the patrons in it. They have been so helpful to me. My dive bar at home has a phenomenon called "As the barstool Turns". Everyone there is miserable and out of their misery they need to know all of your crap true or not. But here, the people are very cool. They have a live and let live attitude. And they were more than willing to help out a total stranger. I haven't eaten the food here, but I've seen a couple of plates and it looks good. They have bingo on Tuesday nights, and trivia on Wednesdays. Totally worth your time if you are in the Denver area!

Great little biker bar. They have a nice patio, some really cool decor. Great waitstaff, everyone is friendly and nice.

Good greasy bar food, lots of old regulars that drink there and bikers. Food is better than the atmosphere, if u like trashy dive bars, this might be your place.

I went here because of the reviews, and I got out voted. It was a Saturday night and the place was dead. Maybe because it's a holiday weekend, I don't know...but I mean there were less then 10 people in there. Ordered the tacos because we wanted an "appetizer" and their appetizer menu had nothing on it that I wanted. The soft tacos were huge and fairly good. Not bad for $4.50. The band was awful. I called ahead of time to see who was playing, and they said it would be rock and roll. It was not rock and roll and they did mostly instrumentals. So we waited 2 hours for the band and a good time and ended up leaving after about 4 "songs." Maybe it's better on a night when they have a decent band? I don't know, but I will be hard pressed to return.

First time there, over Labor Day weekend. Left my tab open for 2 drinks, got my card back, next day my card was denied at the grocery store and 2 charges one in Arvada, one in Westminister, which were not made by me. Lesson learned....no more leaving my card open at shady places...or any other place

Stopped last night bar staff was good, kitchen staff was not so good, it took over an hour and a half to get food and when he brought it out he took it to the wrong table so we paid for our drinks and went to another bar for drinks and food, definitely will not go back

This place is awesome, every time we have stopped in it has been a fun atmosphere. All of the bartenders have been very nice. Drinks are priced good. Great live music on weekends!
