Haven't been here in a while, but last week I was craving for some Thai food, and I know in this area this place has really good food. Service was great, the place is absolutely amazing with live plants and I feel that is very romantic with very low light. However I noticed that on the menu the prices are totally different, please check the prices. As I usually like to get lunch specials, not because of price but, because I get small portions of everything including rice. Anyway the food was absolutely delicious, I ordered to go, mixed vegetables with pork, not lunch special which was very good. Price range with rice and Thai tea or other drinks about $25 to $30 bucks per person, or depends the dish, might be a little higher. Highly recommend this spot to everyone craving for some Thai food

Google
Good Thai food. We ordered the Tom Yum shrimp soup that was full of flavor and some rice to go with it. I would recommend it the servers were friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. They make a pretty good Thai iced tea also!

Google
Clean and fun environment. Not what you’d expect from the outside. Server was nice and helpful. I was taken there because it was authentic Thai and I was not disappointed. I still think of the Laab often. Very tasty. Will be going again.

Google
Very delicious food and very good service. Cozy environment, love it! We’ll definitely come back.

Google
Good and affordable thai food. The only meh thing is that the white rice is not included in any entree dish and they give you very little when you order it. Entrees are still pretty good. Try their chicken basil stir fry or chicken fried rice

All Food is excellent, service is very good. It's the best thai food for me.

Google
I have been coming here with family for several years now to be honest not my favorite place to eat thai food but it is pretty good. We came here just yesterday food was good and everything except I noticed a few sketchy things the whole restaurant was empty when we got there. While we were still there and eating it was still empty not one single person came in and I think I know why. The prices have gone up and the service charge is now 15%. I recommend to everyone despite the food being pretty decent here there are other Thai restaurants better than here.

Google
I love this mom& pop restaurant 🙏💕 very nice people, clean, and the food is amazing!

Yelp
Hidden gem. The spicy fried rice is legendary!!! Chill no frills spot. Great for lunch. Very friendly and hardworking staff.

Yelp
I placed an online order for curb side pick up. Over an hour the online app still showed it wasn't ready. My husband drove down and called the number, per the instructions and was placed on hold. He ended up going inside to pick up order because he was left on hold. They gave him a small plastic bag which he brought home. I had ordered the golden curry with shrimp dumplings. Asked for chopsticks, utensils, soy sauce and napkins.. Which was clearly printed on the receipt. What I got was a small cup of curry liquid with 3 small, undercooked doughy dumplings for $17.51! No utensils. No napkins. No anything. The food was garbage. The ordering process was garbage. I called to complain and they let me talk to the "chef". She didn't sound like she cared and hurried my complaint along. She offered if I DROVE IT BACK, she would credit my account. Listen, I'm not looking for free food..I was looking for a meal prepared by a restaurant that took pride in what they put out! It was a waste of $17.51! They don't care to make good food or provide good service. Absolute GARBAGE! Will never order from this place again!

Yelp
Cutely decorated little restaurant. It was quiet at 2:15pm and we just ordered Tom yum soup and pad soon wen. The pad soon wen was really good while the soup was very tart; it seemed like it didn't have much "body" to it. I'll have to order more things if I go again for a better idea of the food.

Yelp
Service - what has the world come to when a 10 year-old can't walk into a restaurant at 5 PM when it is absolutely empty and is refused to use the restroom. To me, Service comes before anything else. These folks could learn a lesson in service and humanity. no need for me to try the pineapple fried rice. I don't care how big their portions are!

Yelp
The service is always so fast and the staff is super friendly. I especially love all the plants throughout the restaurant! Food is always excellent too ofc

Yelp
Amazing service excellent food , great prices the tangerine chicken is out of this world! This is my 2 nd time and I will continue coming back! The consistency is fantastic! The owner is amazing!!

Yelp
Food is good Ordered to go only thing missing was spicy chili and Sauce for spring roll

Leah D.

Yelp
I ordered a crab pad Thai and the cost was 20 dollars for mountains of sauce, all I could taste was the sweet sauce, and barely any crab at all. Very unfortunate. The waitress was very nice however. I'm sorry but it was so bad :(

Yelp
I recently went here for some classic Thai dishes, and while the experience wasn't terrible, it certainly didn't live up to expectations. The green curry was okay, but the coconut milk flavor was overwhelming, and it could've used more heat to balance things out. The portions are small and the overall presentation was a little lackluster. Service was whatever and was stunned they charge a 15% service fee in addition to the pricey food. We went during lunch time and we were a party of 4!! If you're craving Thai food, there are definitely better options around. Also, if you're going to charge a 15% service charge you should at least have it on your menu or post a sign letting customers know,

Yelp
We decided to try out this little restaurant since our go to spot nearby was closed due to a broken window. WOW No! The Thai iced coffee was good but that was about it. Pad Thai with beef..... gamey awful "beef" meat. We all tried it & passed. The soup was a bland watery broth. The sauces were very heavy, sticky & seemed catsup based. The other items not even notable. Very disappointing way to spend nearly $100. One & done!

Yelp
Love this place, especially for take-out. The food is amazing, if a little on the pricey side. But they're always nice, and they'll even bring the food out to the car with a smile if you ask nicely. The ambiance isn't spectacular, but definitely a vibe, and again - amazing Thai food!

Yelp
So disappointed - we have enjoyed this spot many times in the past. We just came here to get takeout after a long period of trying other spots. I will not be back. The curry did not come with any rice (which was not mentioned when ordering on their website). When I checked my bag and asked about paying extra for rice (at most Thai places, it's a dollar or two for rice if it doesn't come with it). They told me it was almost $4 for rice!! So you're telling me a $17 curry comes with no rice, so therefore it would be $21? I couldn't order the rice at that price point, it was so ridiculous. They were also closing, so not sure they would have been able to make it anyway. Other dishes at this same establishment were not as high priced, that it felt like a mistake on the cashiers part. If it was not, that should have been disclosed when ordering online as I would have ordered a tom kha soup instead. It was very disappointing and put a huge damper on our meal. Will not return

Yelp
Stopped by since I was starving after attending a workout class nearby. I ordered the Tom kha soup and it was delicious! Really really coconutty and thick with the perfect amount of tartness to balance it out. I also ordered a side of noodles to eat with my soup - highly recommend! I love how the soup is served over a fire so it's hot the entire time. This place seems to mostly do takeout since quite a few people came to pickup but I was the only person eating in.

Yelp
Service was alright. I think the waitress was new. When inquired for side items such as lime wedge or dry pepper flakes, the individual appeared confused. Ordered pad thai with crab... had a mild fishy odor. Got sick from it. The egg drop soup was overpowered by the carrots and peas as there was more carrots and peas versus soup. Overall, one time try won't return again.

Yelp
I used to love this place but today after ordering for family lunch; the 3 orders of chicken fried rice was over cooked in balls no flavor barely any chicken as well . Sad to say not the same anymore
google avatar

Yelp
Accidentally came across this gem after having had a a flat tire incident. Excellent pineapple fried rice ( no egg) , shrimp dumpling soup and pad woon sen (no egg ). Great relaxing atmosphere. Loved the lighting as it brought me back to a scene from a David Lynch movie . 2 thumbs up :) Also wanted to add that the service was gracious + attentive. Will certainly return back
google avatar

Margarita M.

Yelp
Food is always great, service is so welcoming and attentive. Prices are a bit high but the portions compensate. I recommend their seafood and wonton soups.
google avatar

Evie S.

Yelp
Ordered vegan food to go. Was told the curry sauces and the tom kha broth are vegan. Got the red curry with veggies and the tom kha soup with fried tofu. The tom kha with the fried tofu was really delicious. The curry was good but I wished it came with a combo of tofu and veggies. Also ordered the Rad nah flat rice noodles in gravy (modified without oyster sauce and fish sauce) with fried tofu and it included broccoli. It was good. The only thing I would change is to be able to get a combo of vegetables and tofu. I highly recommend the tom kha

Yelp
Neighborhood spot for Thai. Always great food and service. This place doesn't get too busy inside but lots of takeout activity.

Scott K.

Yelp
I visited on a Thursday, when they opened at 11:30. We ordered the beef chow mein and Pad Woon Sen. There was no wait and the servings were a good size. The food was delicious and the service was good. The background Bossanova music added to the ambiance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Chloe G.

Yelp
Not only is their food delicious the manager and staff are so kind and gracious. They took in a large lunch order for me and were so communicative and accommodating to all of my needs. I am so grateful for their help and excellent customer service!
google avatar

Yelp
WARNING This place has gotten disgusting over the years! they have changed their entire menu. sloppy lazy and small portions. Even the fried rice was greasy and mushy everyone knows to make good fried rice you have to use cold rice they obviously over cook the rice and put too much oil on it. we ordered the barbecue ribs and there was barely any meat on the bones at all it was just the bones and all they did was put it in the microwave and heat it up. stay away from this restaurant it is awful!
google avatar

Blessy B.

Yelp
We sometimes orders from here. In order to do delivery, you have to order online. The one thing about this spot, it's inconsistent. Sometimes the food comes super spicy, sometimes bland. The pad see-ew with fried tofu is good. Everything else is generic and take the same. Sometimes you get lucky and the food comes out delicious but other times, bland.
google avatar

Yelp
Their food is good different flavoring than other Thai restaurant that I prefer in this area but nothing bad to say about this one

Yelp
First time. Was looking for a better Thai spot close to home. Ordered Yum Woon Sen (Glass noodle salad) Pros: Flavored well Perfect spice level for me Meat tasted clean and high-quality Large portion Reasonably priced Prompt to-go service Easy parking on Saturday at 5pm Cons: Light on vegetables: No salad greens or tomatoes Light on spicy lime dressing Still 5 stars! The glass noodle salad is one of the best I've tasted. I would definitely order food again. I'm okay with less dressing since salad greens are not provided.

Raymond W.

Yelp
Friendly host, many choices in menu, Thai mixed with Chinese style selections, though. Quiet ambiance in late morning. My food was nice and warm with plenty of chicken and brown rice. In the corner of a strip mall.
google avatar

Laurel R.

Yelp
This place has tasty food but it is really pricey. You could definitely find good or better tasting Thai food elsewhere for a better price. Besides that I did enjoy the dishes we ordered and the workers seemed pretty friendly.
google avatar

Brock A.

Yelp
I am lucky that I live a few blocks from this place. Their food is nothing short of amazing. The staff has always been so welcoming when I pick up my order.

Yelp
So this place (or so I thought) was recommended by a chef friend of mine (I'm also a chef). Disappointing doesn't even begin to describe my feelings after eating their food. Where to begin... Green papaya salad - missing shrimp; watered down dressing, one green bean, a couple of bean sprouts, mushy tomatoes, actually one slice cut across. Verdict: disgusting. Wanton soup - watery, unbalanced. Verdict: bad Pad Thai w/shrimp - overcooked stuck together noodles, too sweet, not enough peanut taste, three pieces of shrimp for a large portion. Verdict: very bad Mongolian beef - really tough chewy beef, greasy sauce, overcooked onions, no green onion, green and red pepper, mushroom and squash makes the dish too mushy and adds nothing to the taste. If you gonna call it Mongolian beef, stick to the original recipe, or call it beef and vegetable. Verdict: awful Chicken vegetable - overcooked tough chicken breast, greasy sauce, below adequate taste overall. Verdict: very bad Eggplant - SUPER greasy, disproportionally too much bell pepper and mushy onion versus overcooked mushy greasy eggplant. Verdict: awful Egg rolls - no crisp whatsoever, very mushy and greasy filling. Pricing - overpriced. It cost me $112!!! Overall verdict : STAY AWAY if you value your taste buds.

Yelp
Really good food! Everything I got was pretty amazing. They treated me very nice and had outstanding customer service. Great spot for a date! I had the pad see ew. Pad Thai. Chicken skewers. Green bean salad. And Tom kha shrimp. Everything was amazing! And the Thai tea was great

Yelp
We really liked this place. We picked up and did not eat in so I don't know what that experience is like.. We will be back. Portions are good for the price. Both the chicken and the beef were cooked very well and not overdone. I Haven't tried many things but since it passed the test of 'a first try' I will get something else the next time and get more daring with my selection. I Had Pad Se U and chicken broccoli with a peanut sauce.

Rachel ..

Yelp
Worst experience ever- do not go! I went in asking to use the bathroom and the woman at the counter told me I had to be a customer. So I ordered lunch and gave a tip because she was going to bring me the food. She brought me the food in a to-go bag. First of all, there were two pieces of shrimp in the entire dish which was almost $20. She then comes over to my table and tells me that they close at 3. It was 3:30. At this point I'm dumbfounded because she literally told me I needed to order food here to use the bathroom and didn't tell me that they were closing. She then asks me if I can eat faster so they can close. ????? TLDR; bad and overpriced food, insanely rude service

Yelp
Best Thai food we have had in years. The photos on Yelp do not do the place Justice. Lovely interior with soft lighting and quiet music. Our waitress was attentive and charming. This is a small neighborhood spot well worth making a regular stop for a yummy Thai fix.
google avatar

Alexis C.

Yelp
This place should be far more popular. It's DELICIOUS. The portions are huge, great quality, friendly customer service. It's truly an all around great spot. FOR HUNGRY PEOPLE: Get the Pad See Ew - it was so good and the portion was enough for 3 people. I think I ate it in two days and I eat as I've never eaten before. My wife loves the Crab Fried Rice and has been ordering it for years. You won't be disappointed. Thank you, as always!
google avatar

Matthew G.

Yelp
A lovely little spot with a surprisingly nice inside decor and great service. Unfortunately the "Thai" fare has been watered down to typical American-Chinese style slop.
google avatar

Milton C.

Yelp
Bad experience used to be good restaurant. Before not anymore:(. I think today will be my last time here at this restaurant. It looks like new owner regulations with the food, etc. Etc. original Thai was better before jakkapat Thai

Rudy M.

Yelp
Horrible place when it come to getting your food. Waited 40 min just to get my food when I walked in to order my food. Wouldn't bother coming here. Front staff didn't apologize for the long wait, most likely the staff is worried about getting tips from dine in service and app orders.
google avatar

Janna C.

Yelp
The pineapple fried rice is really good and probably the reason I keep coming here, besides it being down my street. All their portion sizes are very generous and great for sharing! One thing I always love is their yellow curry with white rice! Amazing! Although, I have a tad bit of mixed feelings here because of some inconsistencies. On one hand, I love their tangerine chicken most times (it's been a little dry once or twice) but, on the other hand, the pad see yew noodles are usually a little over cooked (when they are cooked right, the flavor is on point!) I should probably try a different noodle option next time. I have been here many times and I am usually pretty satisfied. The food quality always seems to come out the best when you dine in but I usually do take out. Parking lot is small but is rarely full. The ambiance is a little zen and always clean. The server is usually a lady who is nice, smiles and thanks me for the business. I will continue to come here when I want some quick Thai!
google avatar

Marco M.

Yelp
This is our local Thai restaurant and they never disappoint. The food is great and the service is always very friendly and fast.
google avatar

Amber R.

Yelp
Love this place! We've been going here for years. It's the first time I ever had crab fried rice, I love all their curries, and wonderful service. For the pad Thai I always ask for extra nuts lime and they are so gracious to give us what we need for no extra charge! I also really love their tofu fried to perfection! Their spring rolls are to die for, mainly because they include the same crunchy peanuts in their dipping sauce! I love their creative use of texture and traditional ingredients to add some zest and pizzazz. I forgot to mention they have boba to put in Thai coffee and Iced tea! And yummy young coconuts if you wants to stay healthy and hydrated. They're perfect, cut well, and are tender so that you can easily eat the coconut meat. The ambiance is also wonderful, the takeout is amazing, and it's a wonderful spot in our neighborhood we absolutely love supporting!
google avatar

Joel B.

Yelp
Man do I love this place. The best pineapple chicken fried rice period. I've been on a 30 year walkabout looking for great pineapple fried rice and this place has the best bar none. A perfect combination of spices, rice, shrimp, pineapples and moisture. Never dry, never having one spice dominating others, never lacking anything. The service is always great and there food and smile always will put a smile on you. I haven't said enough but it's all I got. A must try and you will return.
google avatar

Decisive M.

Yelp
If you try to use the coupon. The wannabe Barbie will scream at you and hold your food hostage till you pay. Very aggressive behavior and food is not amazing just good. Two blocks down is way better.
google avatar

Estrella T.

Yelp
OMG the food is incredible. Soooo yummy. THE BEST egg rolls, love their spicy fried rice, my son loved the dumplings. My family really loved this place. We used to dine here when it had the previous owners and we loved it just as much. Really great Thai food that brings us from Burbank. We're near WB so it's not a bad trek to get to. We will definitely be dining here more often now that we know it's just as good, or better, than it previously was. It may be the best spicy fried rice w/tofu I've ever had and I've had a lot! Very small strip mall parking lot, but we found street parking and I've honestly never had a problem finding parking in the lot for pick up. I believe they also provide curbside.

Kyle K.

Yelp
There's no consistency. Sometimes the soups are good and then there's today where the soup is so bland. It tastes diluted. Also there was medium length black hair in our pad Thai. I didn't even bother calling. Just threw it away.
google avatar

Andrea L.

Yelp
Ordered the pad kee mow. Clean restaurant, but the food it's pretty bad and overpriced for Thai in the area. The noodles were overcooked and it was kinda like eating mush, hard even to eat with chopsticks since they would just break apart. The meat is also overcooked and resembled beef jerky. They don't do substitutions here despite the hefty price.

Jenny S.

Yelp
Expensive AF but really good. I only get the veggie Pad se ew every time and the coconut soup. Never tried anything else. Always strain out all the veggies of soup because they put a lot in. Oh and it has tomato in case anyone doesn't like tomato. But the soup is top notch.
google avatar

Breeonna F.

Yelp
Love this place! I only like 2 Thai places in the valley and this is one of them. Highly recommend! I usually get the pad see ewe with chicken which is amazing! The staff is always friendly and the service is SO quick. So if you're hungry and want Thai food ASAP, I'd recommend this place! Lol. Also, if you're a fan of Thai tea GET IT! It's literally so good. The flavor in the tea is some of the best I've had. My friend usually gets the pad Thai and it's her all time favorite. If she wants to go out and get Thai food, we can ONLY go here for that pad Thai. It's definitely a 10/10 place for me!
google avatar

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Tasty Thai food and plenty of vegetarian options (pretty much anything on the menu can be made vegan/vegetarian). Prices are ok, nothing special. I tried their lunch special ($10), which comes with a salad and egg roll (their soup is not vegetarian). The food came out pretty quickly, and tasted good. Restaurant appears clean, and service was friendly enough, but I did have to request both chili paste and the bill, instead of being offered. Parking lot is extremely tight and crowded. I had better luck on the street (Riverside Dr.). I wouldn't come out of my way to eat here, but would return to Jakkapatthai Restaurant if I am in the area and craving Thai food.
