Yelp
So this place (or so I thought) was recommended by a chef friend of mine (I'm also a chef). Disappointing doesn't even begin to describe my feelings after eating their food. Where to begin...
Green papaya salad - missing shrimp; watered down dressing, one green bean, a couple of bean sprouts, mushy tomatoes, actually one slice cut across. Verdict: disgusting.
Wanton soup - watery, unbalanced.
Verdict: bad
Pad Thai w/shrimp - overcooked stuck together noodles, too sweet, not enough peanut taste, three pieces of shrimp for a large portion.
Verdict: very bad
Mongolian beef - really tough chewy beef, greasy sauce, overcooked onions, no green onion, green and red pepper, mushroom and squash makes the dish too mushy and adds nothing to the taste. If you gonna call it Mongolian beef, stick to the original recipe, or call it beef and vegetable.
Verdict: awful
Chicken vegetable - overcooked tough chicken breast, greasy sauce, below adequate taste overall.
Verdict: very bad
Eggplant - SUPER greasy, disproportionally too much bell pepper and mushy onion versus overcooked mushy greasy eggplant.
Verdict: awful
Egg rolls - no crisp whatsoever, very mushy and greasy filling.
Pricing - overpriced. It cost me $112!!!
Overall verdict : STAY AWAY if you value your taste buds.
