Living in North Seattle I'm surprised that I haven't been to the Green lake Ale House yet. I believe I've been missing out! Their beer selection is great, and their food is amazing. It's spacious and at the same time intimate; it gives off the feeling of being a place where locals hang out. I had the clam chowder (excellent) and an order of onion rings (perfectly fried). I also sampled a seasonal rare cider from Mission Trail. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more! The prices are a little higher than I'd expect, but we'll worth the cost. The business is committed to a living wage for all employees.
