"Really prominent or seminal spots like Tilth and Il Corvo hurt, but I keep thinking about Vanishing Seattle’s post about Jalisco Mexican Restaurant in South Park." - Gabe Guarente

Very nice family restaurant. Nacho with 3 types of dip served before placing order. The meal portions are big.

Lunch with colleagues. Jalisco is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants!

Great food and atmosphere. I ate here during the lunch hour. Plenty of people but not too crowded. Tacos are delicious. Only gripe may be the parking in the back. It can be a little tight but this is Seattle. Other than that, a great place to eat. $8 for a lunch plate. Food was good and service was on par.

My food was amazing! I had the new Grilled Quesadilla with Steak, and it was very flavorful. And the refried beans were great too! The service was fast, and the food was piping hot. This was our first time visiting the South Park neighborhood, and we stumbled upon this place. We'll be back for sure!

My favorite chips and salsa in Seattle served in a family run restaurant. The decor brings you back in time and somehow makes you like you're home. Wonderful service, wonderful food, a true neighborhood spot that deserves some love!

Quite possibly the best mexican restaurant I've ever been to (minus the really expensive ones in Portland). If you are looking for an affordable lunch that is delicious and the staff is friendly? Come here. My friends and I have been going here for years. The lady who takes our order has my friend's order memorized and even offers to give him a to go cup for his soda. They apparently won awards in the past and I can see why.

0 stars if I could give it. I eat rice often so I know the consistency of one when it’s been cooked and refrigerated and used again for days. This rice was so stale and hard I couldn’t eat it. The chicken literally tasted like canned tuna, there was a lot of liquid dripping from the “tacos” so it probably was. The taco shells were pita bread like. Also, I paid extra for guacamole and receive it inside of the food and a just a tiny bit. I could’ve gotten an avocado for cheaper and enjoyed it with the meal. I suggest you don’t go here. Go to the taco trucks in Seattle. I’m very disappointed. I don’t usually like to write reviews even if i genuinely don’t enjoy somewhere because I don’t like to mess with the livelihood of the owners and people, I know it’s tough in Seattle but this place was just messed up. You could tell they do things very cheap and low quality and expect high results and $.

I really wanted to like this place. This staff is friendly and prompt but the food is just not of quality. The food came out looking like mush and simply was not shown any love. If you like Mexican food, there's a phenomenal spot right next door to this place called "Ambakity" but I'd avoid Jalisco at any cost if you're a true Mexican food purist like myself.
