Nice spot. Had loud Jamaican music playing but not too loud for conversation. Food was good. Tasted like I expected so no complaints there. Good variety. Their sodas are cans so no refills. Drink your water😁 Their meat pies and jerk chicken eggrolls were good too.

Google
Kiara was amazing and funny!! She helped me and my friend pick out our food. The food was amazing I got the “ Jerk Shrimp Rasta Pasta “ it’s was well seasoned and enough sauce. My friend got the “ Pineapple Chicken “ and he said it was to die for 10000/10 would recommend.

Google
Delicious Jerk Salmon, not too spicy and made fresh to order. Many restaurants that don’t specialize in seafood consistently overcook fish, which I HATE! I ordered my salmon cooked medium, and that’s what I received. Also the portion size is very large, in the picture below I’ve already eaten half of the fish 🤣 The jerk chicken eggrolls were cool, nothing special but decent. My waitress was kind but not as attentive as I would’ve liked. Anyway I’ll be back for the food!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for a Black-owned gem in Mableton, Jamaican Jerk BIZ is it! The vibe is immaculate, and I highly recommend sitting at the bar with Emory—he’s an amazing bartender and truly sets the mood. The jerk eggrolls are a must-try, and you can’t go wrong with anything over rice—whether it’s oxtails, chicken, stews, or beef. The music is always on point, the colors are vibrant, and it’s the perfect spot for selfies and mini photo shoots. A true local treasure!

I live about 2 minutes away from Jamaica Jerk Biz and I come here too often. As soon as I walked in, Rico greeted me with the warmest welcome. Chef Shaun hooks it up every single time. My favorite is the Jerk Salmon and it’s FIRE!!! Come alone, come with a group, you won’t be disappointed!

So delicious OMG the atmosphere is amazing I’ll give it a five star even though I didn’t sit in they were so polite the service was good from what I see like I said I didn’t get a chance to sit in you, but it is a vibe in the food is phenomenal

Google
10/10. As a born and raised Jamaican, I have to say this food was it! The rice, the plantain, the cabbage, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Whoever the chef is, has it locked. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly and very polite. Great location and the food to cost ratio is good!

BEWARE: PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!! YOU'RE CHARGED GRATUITY FOR TO-GO ORDERS. SERVICE: Ordered (3) TO-GO meals and a beef patty totaling $60. Discovered that an additional 17% gratuity of $10 was FORCEFULLY added to my bill despite bypassing the option to tip. Paid $72 total. Went back to the restaurant thinking perhaps i ordered something that was left out. When asked for a detailed receipt there was hesitation followed by eye rolling. Sidenote: the cashier classified my order as a "dine-in" order rather than a "to-go" order ..SMH! I was told "gratuity is a must and tip is optional" and there's no option to remove the fee. In other words any percentage can be charged for gratuity without consumer consent (...I'll definitely look into that). I was told to come back when the owner was around (...real convenient). FOOD: Good flavor, decent portions. Jerk and Curry is spicy. ATMOSPHERE: Great place for hookah and a drink OVERALL: With this mode of business, they will lose customers. We'll see if the owner tries to rectify the situation. Stay tuned!

Yelp
I had the jerk chicken pasta and a run pum, and baby... when I say flavor!? That jerk chicken pasta was giving creamy heat with a kick perfect balance of spicy and savory. The chicken was seasoned proper, and every bite had me dancing in my seat. Now the run pum? Whew! That drink snuck up on me. Smooth, sweet, and deadly if you're not careful just how I like it. Definitely felt the island vibes after that first sip. 10/10, I'll be back for another plate and a seconds

Yelp
We stopped here later yesterday for some good food. To me the music was up too loud, but that's just me. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the DJ. The staff was pleasant, greeted us and took our orders with ease. The food came out, they showed us our orders and we came home to eat. The food was HOT, made freshly and was seasoned very well! I got a curry chicken plate and 2 red snapper escovitch and it was very tasty and full of flavor .

Yelp
Really nifty place tucked back in the corner of a beautiful setting in the parking lot. This was my first time ever trying a Jamaican restaurant. The staff seemed bothered by our presence but I really enjoyed everything else. I wouldn't get the greens again. I prefer mine made more southern. I recommend giving it a try.

Yelp
We went back for a second time in two days. This time we had the jerk chicken and the curried goat again. We didn't like the quality of the rice. It was just kind is starchy, but of course delicious. The portion of the chicken was good, it seemed to be good quality, wasn't fatty, the flavor was good, and it wasn't too spicy. The curried goat was good again; big pieces of meat, and delicious flavor. Still a few pieces not as tender as others, and a tad on the salty side for me. I had noticed that the first time. As I said before the service is good, but I learned they don't take orders over the phone. Also it is a cute dine-in spot.

Yelp
I decided to stop by Jamaican Jerk Biz on a Saturday since it's not too far from the middle school I work at. Parking is always easy to find, which is a breath of fresh air in Atlanta. I was in the mood for dinner and good music. As soon as I walked in the door, I was met with just what I was looking for! The waitresses told me I had to dance upon entering, and being a good sport, I did! Since I was dining alone, I took a seat at the bar and the bartender with the short blonde cut immediately gave me a menu and cup of water. I ended up ordering the Veggie Rasta Pasta and a cup of Crown regular with a splash of sprite. I truly appreciate the chef at this business so much! I haven't been here in a while but the food was still amazing! Just the right amount of seasoning and spices and the temperature is perfect! It was so good I forgot to take a picture. I completely devoured my entire meal. They do charge 20% gratuity regardless of party size, which I was aware of because it was stated on the menu, however, I didn't realize there was a price difference for paying in cash vs. card. I believe it was $1 or so. Overall, I wasn't expecting to pay almost $40 for a solo meal ($13 for crown and $16 for Veggie Rasta Pasta) but it was well worth it. I will continue to return as long as the chef continues to cook the way he/she does! I probably would have stayed for another drink if the dj didn't change the music genre to R&B.

Yelp
Yal need better customer service. The woman at the cash register asked if anyone was ready to order and soon as I went to walk up she was gone, I was close by the register.. I just left and went somewhere else.

Yelp
Really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but I was a little disappointed. I popped in for lunch and decided to try despite the different reviews. Some guests said they really enjoyed everything and some said it was just okay. I ordered the jerk wings since I saw that many people ordered them as well. But the wings are extremely small. I normally don't mind small wings and didn't expect them to be jumbo sized but that was disappointing. Because the wings are crispy, some parts of the wing were overcooked and hard to bite through. They serve them with a side of fries, but for the price I would have liked to have 2 sides? I had jerk wings with fries and an alcoholic drink... my tab was $39 dollars. If I try again, I would consider a to go order, but I'd steer away if you do not want to spend $40 for two items.

Yelp
Great music, friendly service, and solid food describe Jamaican Jerk Biz. The bartenders weren't quite as attentive as I would've hoped. They left money on the table since I wanted more to drink but didn't see them until I was wrapping up my meal. The prices and portions are fair and the portions reasonable but the best part was the ambiance. Comfortable seating and great music. I would visit if I happened to be in Mapleton again.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite takeout spots in the city. I'd love, love Jamaican food, and they never miss. The Jerk Chicken is the chef's kiss and even the Veggie plates are on point. My favorite item on the menu is the Jamaican Jerk Vegetable Egg Rolls. Their customer service is fantastic, and the music vibe as you wait feels like a dine-in experience.

Yelp
Yum! Yum! Yum!! The food in this place taste authentic and is served fresh and hot. It's my fav place in Cobb County to get Oxtails!! The oxtails are actually meaty and not surrounded by fat. You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
I saw Keith Lee's review and I had to try the food. I'm a huge pasta lover. I came on a Sunday. I wanted to call it in, but no one answered the phone. When I arrived, it was packed! My boyfriend and I both ordered rasta pasta. He got the salmon. I got the shrimp (shout out to the server who convinced me to get shrimp instead of chicken). I was worried about the quantity of shrimp, but I got a good amount. The pasta was so good! My only remark is I wish it was spicy. I added red pepper flakes when I ate the rest the next day and that gave it the kick I was looking for. We ordered a drink at the bar while waiting for our food. The drink was strong and good. I definitely will be back!!

Yelp
I had high hopes for the food here. Ordered the Brown Stew Chicken and it was just eh okay. I got the ends of a few chicken legs and some small cut up parts of chicken which wasn't enough to get full off of and the cabbage didn't have any seasoning on it. The restaurant itself is really cute inside though and as always try it for yourself.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere especially for late night but I came for lunch. The stewed chicken was good for $11 on the lunch menu, everything was fresh. I don't believe the wings are fried, so was missing the crispy aspect and the fries were just normal. The service was nice as well. I would come back to try them again.

Yelp
Nice addition to the neighborhood! The servers/bar tenders/hostesses are always very nice. I tiried the pineapple chicken and my hubby had the curry chicken, both were really good and so are the chicken patties!! The beef were ok but I like the crust on the chicken best!! Whatever yall are doing to the chicken patties -- please keep it up!

Tewanna F.

Yelp
New to the area and was looking for some really good Jerk chicken. Visited @ 6:30 ish..... place had good energy - music was loud -bar was well attended . I placed my TGO at the bar. 1st food came out and I was not called for pick-up it sat for 5/7 minutes ( long enough to not be hot), 2nd the presentation was good- BUT they gave me a Chicken Back and a leg, the chicken back was split 1/2 to appear more in quantity. I didn't grow up eating Chicken backs because they don't have any meat on them. This part was disappointing- Also a tablespoon of cabbage. The seasoning was good on what I could get from the chicken. I would not have been too disappointed if this meal didn't cost me $18.00. For this price give people a piece of chicken. I likely won't go back. Not my vibe and the Chicken Back.....

Yelp
The food was delicious, I had the shrimp rasta pasta. I will say everything comes in plastic or styrofoam which was very sanitary but some people may say "tacky". The wait time was also 30+ minutes for our order and we saw many to go orders come and go. Overall 4/5!

Driedree J.

Yelp
For starters it took forever for the server to come. My husband and I ordered two Oxtails dinners and two rum punch. The food was disappointing but the rum punch was amazing. We received our bill and it was $107 with $17 Gratuity already added. Never again we were so disappointed. I don't recommend this place for food but the drinks were good.

Yelp
Great lunch size portion!! Food was good and tasty. I ordered the brown chicken stew. Pickup service was fast too.

Yelp
This spot is fine if you're starving. I had jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and plantain dish. The chicken was fine (wasn't quite there), and the cabbage was a little on the saltier side (I'm used to having a cabbage that has that little sweetness to it). The plantains weren't sweet either. Rice and Peas are rice and peas, so no complaints there. I don't waste food, so I continued eating it. The server didn't come around much (I'm okay with this as this is the common theme with Jamaican restaurants (YouTube Rasheed Thurmond stand up). Also, FYI gratuity is added automatically. When you get your receipt to sign, there is a tip line on there so I can see why folks tip twice. Hkl deal on my end because I actually look at my bills so I don't end up getting played, but I can see how others may not notice. In short, I've had better Jamaican food at Golden Crust, and that's saying a lot. Will I come here again, probably not.

Addie L.

Yelp
The food wasn't bad, a little salty for my taste though. Be sure to check your receipt before paying, the lady that took my order charged me almost $10 for gratuity for a take out order. When I asked her to take it off, she stated it was "automatic". I didn't like that all. She was a little standoffish too. I don't know if that's the reason my food took over 30 minutes to be ready.
google avatar

Ley S.

Yelp
Before even receiving my food I was honestly rubbed the wrong way by the speed and lack of sense of urgency by the kitchen/staff. I ordered on the phone and was told my food would be 20 minutes. It is a 35 minute drive from my home and when I arrived I still had to wait an additional 20 minutes after being told my food would be out in 5 minutes. I appreciate it not being cold when I picked up, but I called to avoid the wait. Upon walking in, the restaurant is kind of lounge style with high seated booths along the walls and tables. It wasn't super packed, but I went kind of early. I can see how it can become a vibe in the evenings with their music and atmosphere. They also had a bar you can eat at and order drinks. I wouldn't mind coming back to eat and do hookah for a girls night. Now despite the hiccups with the wait times, I still rated them a 4 because the food was THE BOMB. I found their prices to be reasonable (half the price of another local restaurant) and the portions large enough for me to eat the meal 2-3 times. I was craving oxtail and ordered the oxtail Rasta pasta and baby it was GOOOOOD!!! As you can see I started eating before I even snapped a picture. I didn't want to stop eating it. I will absolutely be back, but this time I will pack my patience.

Yelp
Cool spot with Jamaican flair. The decor is jazzy. I really like the cushy furnishings and the artwork. The bathroom is single stalled but pretty large with a cool full mirror good for bathroom selfies. Came in on a Saturday afternoon to a relatively empty restaurant. Service was a little slow. Our meals were served in to go plates as they do not have a dishwasher per our waitress. I got the pineapple chicken and my partner had the curry chicken. Both meals came with rice & peas, cabbage, and plantains and were tasty. Probably a very cool evening lounge option.

Cheeritza S.

Yelp
I was in the mood for sumn flavorful, so I decided to check this spot out since they had such great reviews. Plenty of parking, the young lady helping us seemed sweet, the rasta pasta was creamy - enough to feed 2, & came out pretty quickly. We took our order to go, but it was a nice, clean, & aesthetically pleasing spot. Oh, & the music was good too! I would come back.
google avatar

Vickie C.

Yelp
Great food! The oxtails were awesome. My husband had the curry goat and loved them. We had a great experience. Check them out.
google avatar

Jacinta J.

Yelp
Oxtails are my favorite and I am very particular about how I like them cooked and I must say they were absolutely delicious! I am also all about the ambience - it's so cute and the music is loud enough to vibe but not too loud where you can hold a good conversation. Service was quick and everyone works together to make sure you are not without a drink or your entree. I hope to continue to see this black owned business thrive and I'm hoping they stay open late and maybe have a few good bands come through - go check them out !

Yelp
The worst customer service I've ever received. The snapper was mushy and I asked to have it remade and the owner/manager stated that he would not remake it but would charge me for the whole meal and not give me the meal I paid for. Terrible. I will NEVER come here again. I wish there were negative stars. The owner smoked hookah instead of resolving the issue. Unacceptable.
google avatar

Yelp
The decor and ambiance of this place is nice and you get classy Caribbean vibes. I stopped by for a quick lunch, but would love to try visiting in the evening to see how the music and social vibes are. However my day time visit was lovely. The waitress was super nice and the food was definitely well worth it. I wanted to try something new for me so I got the pineapple chicken which comes with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. Everything was flavorful so much so that I had to force myself to stop eating. The only teeny thing I had an issue with was them serving me my food in a to go container, which I'm sure their are legitimate reasons why, but I'm just not use to that while dining in. It devalued my experience a little because I'm a stickler for a good presentation. No worries though because like I said the food was really good so it made up for the presentation. Definitely recommend trying if you are in the area!

Yelp
I was turned onto this restaurant the other day by a friend. She and I went in and had a late lunch. The young lady with the short blonde hair was our server. Everything was just fine until it was time to check out. When we went to check out the young lady charged us twice for gratuity. When we asked for one of the tips back she told us she couldn't do it. My friend asked if she void the transaction the server said no she couldn't. My friend asked if she could give it back in cash. She said no. She said the manager wasn't there to make any changes and we'd have to give them our number. My friend said don't worry about it she would be back and she just wouldn't tip her when she came back. So it's strange how our check was originally 66 dollars but ended up being 88 dollars and we couldn't get one of the tips back. Second experience with this restaurant I called them to place an order over the phone last night around 9. I was able to place the order without any issues. I left and took my food home. Now today, I called at 5:56 to place a to go order for my family. The lady over the phone informed me that they were out of chicken and I'd have to wait an hour so I hung up to call my husband to see if he wanted to wait an hour. I called back at 6:03 for them to tell me they weren't taking orders over the phone. I said just called and spoke with someone and told her I had to get confirmation that my husband wanted to continue with the order. She said that was fine but we'd have to place the order in the store. I explained my dissatisfaction and disappointment with this issue. And I also explained how I was willing to continue patronizing the restaurant even though the young lady wouldn't refund the additional tip she took. So I ended the call. About 5 minutes later I received a call from the blonde head server from her personal phone saying she doesn't appreciate me implying that she stole the money and if the manager didn't call that wasn't her fault. I went on the explain myself and I asked her if she thought her calling me and telling me what she didn't appreciate was professional and she hung up in my face. I will never eat anything else from this place again and I do not recommend it. They are extremely unprofessional! The food doesn't compensate for piss poor service. My husband ended up going up there to get some food because he desperately had a taste for it. He spoke with the manager whom was very dismissive. My husband said his experience when he went inside was they were rude to him as well. I'm disappointed because we try to support small black owned businesses. But I need yall to get it together.

Yelp
I love this spot. The service is great and their food is always amazing. The vibe inside is really cool. They usually play Caribbean music but the sound isn't too loud. I have never dined in but when I've been multiple times for my takeout I noticed their dine-in customers got takeout plates as well. Curry Goat - my absolute favorite. There's a slight spice but it's not overpowering. The meat is so tender. Jerk Chicken - they got the flavor all the way down to the bone. It's so good! I added their scotch bonnet pepper sauce to mine because I love my food spicy.

Yelp
Was looking forward to this place since I live close. Waited an hour for jerk chicken pasta that was just okay. Nice restaurant on the inside through. Waiter didn't even know if we had paid for our food or not ...it was a dance just to pay for the food.
google avatar

Saida Y.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! It's a small space, but it decorated so nice & has lounge seats, hightop tables, & lower tables. They also have TVs & music going. They just opened so they're still new (liquor license applied for), but their food is real good! The server was really sweet and paid attention to our table, making sure we were good. Also our food came out fairly quick (but it also wasn't crowded). The curry goat was cooked well & wasn't tough at all. The flavor was also delicious. The jerk chicken was bomb as well! The jerk sauce tasted like spicy bbq sauce, but it was still good. The Mac & cheese wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't great. Overall I'm so glad to have found a new Jamaican place with great prices & a cute vibe!

Yelp
Order food at inside 3:20 pm get my food at 4:00 pm the young lady had an attitude They totally lost on what you ordered Bypass this place

Brandyn B.

Yelp
Keith Lee, must've been sadly mistaken, because I visited this location on Saturday, June 1 & I must admit, I don't think I'll ever return. I ordered the jerk pasta and added chicken. The blandest "jerk" pasta that I've ever tried. My cousin ordered the jerk chicken entree and the chicken was very dry. We ordered drinks; Don Julio rep with splash of cranberry, she brought back a cup, no ice and Don Julio and cranberry mixed. I would've left an addition star but the server we had must've been having a bad day because she appeared to be in a very bad mood. I left this exact review on Google and here is how the owner responded: "Thanks again for you taken the time out your busy day to give us your 1 star review we really appreciate it.. Have a safe and blessed day."
google avatar

Ahriel B.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious! We got the brown stew chicken and the curry goat. It was fresh, hot and plenty of food too.

Kim L.

Yelp
Fantastic customer service and delicious food!!! I will definitely be ordering from them again. Thanks!!!

Yelp
Came in for lunch. The decor is very nice. It was somewhat empty but makes sense in the middle of the day. Was greeted immediately. The drink selection is pretty good. Tried the Rum Punch and it was great. Had the beef Patty and chicken Patty both good. Tried the jerk chicken and curry chicken both were seasoned well the chicken was moist. I only took a star because everything came in plastic or a To go container even though sat inside to eat. I will be returning you can tell it's a vibe.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my food and drink! Both quite tasty and freshly prepared. We both had the shrimp Rasta Pasta. I enjoyed the twisted sangria and he had the Kingston as our bar drinks . The service was mediocre, but no real complaints. They took the order, brought the food, and that's it. They didn't come back to check on us at all. However, the 20% gratuity was added automatically, which was not stated anywhere that I noticed. I also don't like that food was served in styrofoam containers. 2 meals+ 2drinks= $90.95... I won't go back! It was good, but not THAT good‍

Monte A.

Yelp
Food has been really good so far I had the curry chicken and it was great nice inside for dining inside
google avatar

Ken O.

Yelp
Stepped in this place looking for some good eats and was very disappointed with the food. I ordered curry chicken figuring you can go wrong at a Jamaican spot. Boy was I wrong, mushy rice and un-tasty curry chicken. I have had better at golden crust. They served the food in black to go containers and drinks in plastic cups. To top it all off they charge gratuities and ask for tips? The place loos good but don't go for food.
google avatar

Joycelyn S.

Yelp
Great Food, decent service. We took our food to go! I recommend the Red Snapper. The drinks are amazing.
google avatar

Carlton K.

Yelp
I come here for the jerk patties often there real good! Today I decided to actually get a meal. I got the jerk Rasta pasta & it was a hit !

Alicia C.

Yelp
Good food and service but have them break down your bill and look at the receipt before paying. I feel kind of ripped off because I was charged for a 20% gratuity twice. And when I came back inside to ask about it, all the waitress said was "Sorry about that." Not cool.
google avatar

Roney S.

Yelp
My favorite dish is the salad topped with jerk chicken and/or jerk shrimp! I usually sit near the bar where I can watch the videos of the songs being played as well. The food is so good that I forgot to take a photo today lol
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
I only order the seafood jerk dinners and let me tell you, the shrimp, salmon, and the fish are all very tasty. The staff are all friendly and not forgetting the ambiance, beautifully decorated. Lots of parking available By the way, the food is always FRESH, made to order.

Yelp
I've only gone in to order pickup but I'm glad Mableton has a nice restaurant like this. It's decorated tastefully with red, black, yellow, and green. The dark green velvet seats look comfy. My only knock is that I don't think this place is kid friendly. I did not see any high chairs or booster seats and the restroom didn't have a changing table, even though it's very large. On my visit, I ordered the jerk chicken. It was nicely seasoned and grilled and came with steamed cabbage, plantains, and rice and peas. The mild jerk sauce came in a container on the side. I wished they asked if I wanted it in the side or in too because it didn't seem like enough, especially because I like gravy on my rice too. But oh boy, that sauce was so good. The rice and peas were standard and the cabbage was excellent. It was fresh cabbage that wasn't overly cooked like a lot of places. The cabbage also had bell peppers in it. Now that I've got the classic jerk out of the way, I can't wait to try one of the lunch specials (stew or curry chicken) or the jerk salmon.

Yelp
U decide!!! 45 min wait before I got a cup of water n able to order. The 2 ladies who came in behind me suffered the same wait time. You would've thought you had to order your food through an app because there was no sign of a waitress. All food comes in black plastic "to-go" boxes with a plastic spork. Menu stated Caesar salad $10.00 Add shrimp or chicken or beef $13.00. What I received in a plastic to go carton was some chopped up lettuce only ( I promise u) n 4 shrimp on top. My bill for that $26.00. Lettuce retails $2.18, 4 shrimp .37 x 4 = 1.48. The jerk salmon was cold n dry. Yellow rice sticky. The young waitress still had her see through one piece jumper on from the club the night before. ( No lie...did not mind the visuals) And O yes! , plenty of attitude like I was wasting her time to want to order. She said menu was clear about salad. I missed the memo that n Mableton one pays for a takeout of a half head of lettuce n 4 grilled shrimp for $26.00 ?!? Total takeout $48.00. I would not dare tip. The days are gone that to patronize a black own restaurant one has to endure this ... ish. My prediction this place will not last 6 months. To many quality black owned dine in restaurants available with respectable service. PS ... l was going to stay n eat but I did not want to catch a case on a Sunday. At home I added tomatoes, olives, cheese n balsamic vinegar that made my "lettuce salad" pop. Added garlic Parmesan dressing to salmon and water to rice and salvaged my meal. U have been warned... spend your money wisely...Peace ...

Yelp
I hate that I didn't get a picture of my oxtail plate but I am stuffed and it was absolutely amazing. They are a month in business and I'm so glad that I saw this spot on Google while searching for some Jamaican food. Yall check it out. The flavors are amazing. Oxtail banging, cabbage very good and the plantains are amazing. Although I was alone, the vibe is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be back to try other things.
