"The ninth annual Grace Jamaica Jerk Festival at Roy Wilkins Park on Sunday, July 21 will feature food from eight chefs, including Haitian-American chef Cybille St. Aude — who hosts various popups and was a contestant on Chopped — and chef Troy Levy, a Cooks Vs Cons finalist who previously worked at BB King’s in Times Square and the Highline Ballroom in Chelsea; advance tickets are $39 and $49 at the door." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya
Food was great. Music was great. Food was overpriced in my opinion. 6 chicken, rice and Peas 2 paties, and 2 conch salad was $230. A can redstripe rum punck was $12. Automatic $16.50 gratuity on $65 worth of drinks. $8 frozen lemonade. We left after an hour. The parking was not bad at $10. Admission was $40. Payment was either cash or zelle every where we purchased from. If you didn't have cash or access to it you would have been out of luck.

My first time and it will definitely not be my last! Everything was amazing. The vibe, the people, the culture, the energy and the food. Parking wasn't bad and the prices for everything inside was very reasonable. I can't wait for next year!

I’ve been going to the Grace Jamaican Jerk festival for at least 15 years now and this was the most disappointing. I paid for a VIP ticket and it was not worth the money. VIP parking was further than general admission. All VIP ticket holders were entitled to a welcome bag which I did not receive. When I asked about it I was told they ran out. Why were they not prepared for the amount of guest who purchased VIP tickets? The “Sunday Dinner” they advertised took a 30 min wait in line to receive. Finally, when served, we were only allowed one small
chunk of pork two shrimp and half of a chicken wing. For someone who has stood behind the festival for 15+ years, this is totally unacceptable.

The miramar jerk festival VIP was disorganized. The run out of food and not worth the $175. It rained and there was no plans for that, it's Florida for Christ sake! The food outside the VIP was better although pricey. Never again, it was 10 of us and experience was horrible.

This was a waste of money. There were only about 5 vendors selling food. After standing in line for 2 hours only to be told, they ran out of food. I had a 4 yr old and a 9 yr old hungry kids. Another thing after not getting any food, the 4 yr old wanted water only to be told the vendors don't have water the bar is the only place u can go to get water. This is a family event so i don't see why the vendor could sell juice, pop and water with the food. So the fact of the matter is I spent $100 for nothing because we had to leave to get something for the family to eat. I want a refund.

We stayed under the Publix tent for most of the time and really enjoyed all the food shows! So much fun. We loved hanging with Irie and the other chefs! Would've gotten 5 stars but the handicap parking cost $10 even though it's FREE in the ENTIRE State of Florida! The ATM machines were down and the bars were cash only.
