The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were exceptionally kind and professional. The dishes were beautifully presented, showcasing great attention to detail. However, the wallpaper somewhat detracted from the overall sophistication of the ambiance, and while the food was good, it didn’t quite reach the level of excellence I had anticipated.

If you're looking to enjoy a fancier meal with Puglia origins, Jamante is the perfect place. While the dishes are more expensive and not as large as at many other restaurants in the area, this only adds to the restaurant's charm, as each meal is infused with flair. Surprisingly, the pigeon dish was incredibly tasty and exceeded our expectations. Other standout dishes included the duck and octopus. Additionally, the ambiance and decor are vibrant and truly unique. Jamante is an upscale restaurant that impresses with its exceptional service and distinctive offerings.

The ambience was professional and romantic. The table setting was gorgeous. Every course had a local touch and was innovative, fresh, and delicious. The five-onion dish really blew our minds! The wine pairings were a great and well-described by the staff. It was a quality meal well worth the price.

In September, my husband and I dined at this Michelin-recommended restaurant. We tried the veal tartare, lasagna, spaghetti, and pork belly. The pork belly was a standout, and their deconstructed take on lasagna was unique and enjoyable. However, I would have preferred the veal tartare to be more finely prepared. A good choice for a fancy meal or if you’re in the area, though not a must-visit.

Such an amazing restaurant. So much attention to detail in both the food and atmosphere. Waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable. Every dish was an interesting interpretation of the local cuisine. Sauces were intriguing and pasta was perfectly cooked. The interior design was beautiful and especially the tables which were like pieces of art.

Great experience, we went for the modern menu. Overal it was good but it was way to much. For example we started with a really heavy risotto after this dish we where already half full. This didnt add to the experience, the large quantities sometimes made you reluctant to eat. Overal very nice and fresh food. Just missing the balance.

We had an excellent dinner here for my wife's birthday. The service was great, the food was beautifully presented and delicious as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the ambiance, which I felt was a bit lacking. But I would recommend anyone to come here we loved all the dishes!

Really disappointing meal at Jamanté. Every dish was either under salted or over salted. The fusion style some dishes had doesn't blend well. Many dishes just tasted bland, with such delicious seafood, vegetables and meat in the surroundings, How! The dishes are presented beautifully, and the waiters are great. However, the food left much to be desired. If you're someone who loves appearance and drinking, this is a great restaurant. However, for a meal, I think any local restaurant will do.

Upscale restaurant located outside the touristy center in Polignano a Mare. We parked at the beach just to the west (free and convenient) and had a peaceful walk over. The restaurant's decor outside and particularly inside is really beautiful and tasteful, like a high-class boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overly stuffy either -- our main attendant (who I liked a lot) almost had more of an academic vibe to him. We opted for the chef's tasting menu and everything was good, but the main standouts for me were the onion dish and the desserts. Creative and vibrant plating was absolutely top-notch, and the flavors were above average too. Only small complaint is that it took a while for some of the dishes to come out. The restaurant doesn't overcharge for drinks and water, so the total cost wasn't much more than the €85 / person sticker price on the tasting menu. A very nice night overall, we didn't have time but you could also walk along the water to the east to get to the bustling area around Via Roma if you wanted, about another 1km.

This is the best restaurant in the area. The service is excellent, the food is excellent and the ambiance is beautiful. It's slightly out of the main area, which we liked. Still totally walkable. I highly recommend the spaghetti, the ravioli, the veal and any of the fish options.
