This weekend, we had the pleasure of visiting Jamavar restaurant, located at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Doha. The experience was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the beautiful ambiance and thoughtful seating arrangements that truly enhance your dining experience. Now, let's dive into the food. Overall, it was decent and quite tasty. The standout dish for me was the Tandoori Lamb Chop from the appetizers; it had an incredible flavor that I can't stop thinking about! The Aloo Tikki was also fantastic and perfectly complemented the Tulsi Chicken Tikka. When it came to the main course, I found the Butter Chicken to be somewhat underwhelming. However, the Kaju Methi Makhana Dish was very impressive, and the Black Dal was quite tasty as well. One minor drawback was that the Butter Naan could have been a bit softer. The Saffron Pulao was delightful, but the delay in serving it slightly diminished the overall enjoyment of the meal. For dessert, the Saffron Jalebi with Rabdi was undoubtedly delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. On the other hand, the Mango Ras-malai fell short for me, as the sponge was quite hard. Overall, our dinner experience was good. While the service was ok, there were some delays, particularly with the pulao, which took about 15 minutes to arrive. When you're waiting for a dish for so long, it can impact your appetite and enjoyment of the meal. In terms of ratings, I would give the welcome style and ambiance a solid 5 stars. The food overall deserves 4 stars, with the Lamb Chop earning a perfect 5 stars and the Old Delhi Butter Chicken dish receiving 3 stars. The table service, however, gets 3 stars due to the delays. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves at Jamavar. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ

Absolutely incredible experience at Jamavar Doha! The service was flawless—attentive, warm, and professional. The food? Unbelievable. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The ambience was equally impressive—elegant, inviting, and full of charm. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Doha. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience. Lovely food, professional service. Attention to detail is impressive and they know how to spice the food based on a person’s palette. One of the few Michelin restaraunt that offers value for money. You can’t leave this place upset!

Located within Sheraton Grand Doha, Jamavar has offered us a truly refined and memorable Indian dining experience. Here is a breakdown of what Jamavar Doha offers: 1 - Food - Amazing Dishes: The Nalli Nihari, Methi Mutter, Daal Makhani and Biryani were all really, really good. You should definitely try these! Average Dishes: The Bhindi, Jeera Aloo and Dahi Bhalle were just okay, nothing too special. Desserts: The Mango Rasmalai was tasty. However, the Rabdi Jalebi was too sweet for my liking. Drinks: They have some really nice and signature mocktails and cocktails. 2. Ambience: It is cozy, gentle and relaxed place to enjoy your meals. 3. Service: The hospitality is top-notch. Staff is attentive, helpful with a smile on their faces. But, considering its a fine dining Michelin-starred, here are a few things they could make even better: 1. Wait time - One has to wait a bit longer than you would expect for your dishes to arrive. 2. Music - While the décor is nice, sometimes the music doesn't really fit the fancy atmosphere. Maybe some softer, more traditional Indian music would make it feel even more special. 3. More vegetarian options - They have some great vegetarian dishes, but it would be nice to see a few more interesting and different options for people who don't eat meat.

We visited this place with our most important customer for an Iftar meal and opted for the set menu. The service was quick, and the food quality was excellent—delicious and well-prepared. It took a good 90 minutes to enjoy the full set menu, with perfectly portioned servings and a well-balanced blend of spices and flavors. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience with customers.

Had a dinner here with a colleague. The setting is nice and the waiter took time to explain everything. Great range of menu options too. The prices are on the higher end and I felt that the portion sizes are small for the prices, especially for the scallop moilee starter. Had the gucchi lababdar (morel curry) as a main and it was very nice

JAMAVAR ROYAL BRUNCH we had the pleasure of indulging in the Royal Brunch at Jamavar Doha, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the experience was a culinary journey through the vibrant street food markets and royal kitchens of India. Step 1: Street Food Selection The brunch began with an elegant twist on Indian street food. Small plates were served featuring favorites from the north and south like Panipuri, Dahi Bhalle, Raj Kachori Chaat, and Oysters. Among these, the Oysters, Raj Kachori Chaat, and Panipuri were clear standouts—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Step 2: Seafood & Tandoor Starters Next came a selection of exquisite small plates like Scallop Moilee, Malabar Prawns, and Chicken Amritsari. The Scallop Moilee and Malabar Prawns were incredibly tasty—rich, fragrant, and perfectly cooked. One of the best parts? You can reorder the dishes you love! Step 3: Tandoor Specialties From the tandoor, we were served Achari Lobster, Tandoori Lamb Chops, and Lucknow Murgh Tikka. The Achari Lobster and Tandoori Murgh Tikka were absolutely delicious—flavorful, juicy, and charred to perfection. Step 4: Main Course For mains, we enjoyed comforting dishes like Jeera Aloo, Butter Chicken, Assorted Breads, and Rampuri Biryani with Raita. The Butter Chicken and Biryani were the highlights here—rich in flavor and wonderfully satisfying. Step 5: Desserts & Drinks The dessert spread included Gulab Jamun, Mango Rasmalai, and a Tasting Kulfi. As a sweet ending, the Gulab Jamun was my personal favorite—warm, syrupy, and soft. Mocktails were included, and I especially enjoyed the Strawberry Iced Tea. Alcoholic beverages are also part of the brunch package, which adds to the indulgence. Experience & Atmosphere We arrived at 12:30 PM and stayed until 4:30 PM, fully soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. The staff's hospitality was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout. Live music added a vibrant yet classy touch to the afternoon. Price & Booking The brunch is priced at QAR 300, which is excellent value for the quality and variety offered. We booked through More Cravings, which made the process easy and smooth. Final Thoughts Jamavar remains one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Doha, and this Royal Brunch just reinforced why. It’s a beautifully curated experience that combines authentic flavors, luxury, and warmth in one unforgettable afternoon. Highly recommended for food lovers, especially those craving upscale Indian cuisine with flair.

It's a must-go place if you wish to indulge in a lavish dining experience! Went there with my husband for a Lazy Friday Brunch. They also had live music, a cozy 80s vibe that added to the experience. The Brunch Menu was perfect & served wonderfully. LOVED the Biryani! Food, Ambiance, Hospitality were lovely. Would definitely visit again!
