What Are Smoothie Bowls and Why Do They Exist? | Eater

"Once a mid-aughts, jungle-themed smoothie chain known for oversized cups of sweet blended slush in flavors like strawberry–banana and a tween clientele, this brand helped lead the smoothie-bar boom. Over time it pivoted toward a fast-casual, wellness-oriented model—often colocated with gyms—adding juice “shots,” artisan flatbreads and Instagram-ready smoothie bowls topped with rows of sliced banana and peanut-butter drizzle. The shift reflects a broader move from simple sugary smoothies to curated, photo-friendly health fare as the company updated both its menu and its brand identity." - Brenna Houck

America’s Best Bowl Food: The Bracket | Eater

"An early mainstreamer of smoothies and wellness culture, the smoothie/acai bowls are essentially blended frozen-fruit bases served in a bowl to accommodate granola and fruit toppings. While the chain has added plant milks and trendy ingredients like spirulina, the bowls are often sugary and more dessert-like than a substantive savory meal; some reviews call them a half-hearted ‘fruit soup’ despite their convenience and topping-friendly format." - Jaya Saxena

$14 for a medium smoothie. Not worth the price. It is barely worth half of that. There is a weird tax called the Employee Wage and Benefits fee. Why are customers paying the wages of workers, at the same time paying $14 for a smoothie? Tip left: none.

The white gummi smoothie was refreshing and hydrating. The mozzarella bites and marinara were also really good. The prices were higher than other Jamba Juice locations we have visisted.

Both ppl were so rude. I tried to use my gift card and they told me it was too many numbers to punch in. And didn't try to explain themselves. So I took my money elsewhere. You asked me to reach out and whoever I just spoke to said everything they did was fine. I will never spend money with your company again

It’s very frustrating walking up to a business that they see you. There’s two of them and they both purposely do not make eye contact. Continue to talk to each other and let you stand there for a few minutes with no acknowledgment or any types of interaction. Such a tacky way of running business.

I’m giving this specific location 1 stars only because the workers are nice but the smoothie quality was horrible and deserves no stars. My smoothie had this funny after taste, like it was made with dirty dish water. They offer to make it over because they notice that I wasn’t happy, only for it to taste the same exact way.

I was waiting for my flight and I decided to get a juice at this place. The staff were not the friendliest but the juice was great. A little over price but that's to be expected in an airport. My recommendation is the staff trained and customer service because I really did not feel welcome and I sort of felt like I was bothering them by ordering my juice.

the lady working here refused to serve me. i walked up at 5pm because it said it was open. however, i waited there for a few minutes, and the lady said they were closed. i was confused , but it’s whatever. 20 minutes later, i walked by again, and she was serving not one but TWO other people. so i waited in line because i wanted a smoothie…but she said she was closed! 5 minutes later, i walked by once more and she was serving someone else. at this point, i don’t feel safe ordering a smoothie from her, so i didn’t. please look into your staff and thoroughly reevaluate their performance, because this was simply unacceptable. this is NOT a joke
