Jamboree Jams

I have lived in New Orleans for years and my life revolves around food, specifically sweets. So it says A LOT about this place that they haven’t been open for that long and I’ve already stopped in here more times than almost any other place in the entire city. The flavor combinations of the jams are insane and delicious! She has the absolute best donuts in the city. Every Saturday that I don’t work I am basically first in line for these donuts. And again, the flavors offered are so unique. She also did a king cake special with a really unique Lebanese yogurt icing which tasted amazing and I just thought was so cool because you will probably never see that offered anywhere else in the world. Ordering the king cake online and picking it up was super easy. It is very hard for a small batch place like this to predict sales and keep inventory stocked and I can tell they work so hard. She’s great about giving us deals too. Sometimes if there’s lots of donuts left in the afternoon she makes them half off or 2 for 1. The staff has always been incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell they prioritize flavor and customer service. What more can you ask for. I wish I could give 10 stars!

I am obsessed with Jamboree Jams! I've been following these jams pre-storefront and I feel spoiled being able to access this deliciousness regularly now. When we started planning our wedding we knew that we would love to have their jelly filled donuts involved. We went donuts instead of a cake altogether. The experience was perfect and folks couldn't stop talking about how delicious they were. The picture speaks for itself... is your mouth watering yet? and yes, topped with edible flowers, a sweet surprise! Every experience we've had with this business has been fantastic. They are always friendly, helpful, and professional! We cannot recommend them enough!!!

I ordered a king cake for Mardi Gras and was so disappointed to find the inside was mostly hollow but what was the most disappointing was how the owner of Jamboree Jams handled it. She initially dismissed me and just said thank you for telling me and when I asked for an explanation or a resolution she stated that everyone else enjoyed theirs and I didn't need to choose to order from her. That my preferences were the problem, when all I brought to her attention was how hollow it was. She showed no desire to remedy the situation while I asked for nothing. It never needed to come to this but she chose to gaslight me and tell me to never shop at her store and again. instead of offering me a couple free donuts or something. l would of even taken a sorry and left it at that. I was someone who bought jam many times and regularly visited on the weekends for Donuts. I never intended to not shop there again. I am also small business owner and have worked for many small businesses. She doesn't know me personally so she doesn't know my values at all. Yet she kept gaslighting me and mocked me at the end (see the photo), made a post about me on instagram which was wildly inaccurate when it came to my actions or personal values. Is it ok attack customers??

Friendly, attentive service, reasonable prices, and some of the best cheeses, jams, pickled vegetables, etc that we have had anywhere at any price. Eclectic beer and wine list. Highly recommended for a drink and evening meal.

Jamboree Jams is one of my favorite small businesses. I am astounded by their culinary creativity and variety in offerings week to week. From the ambience to the depth of flavor in each item - it’s worth the visit. This past Monday was my first Lasagna night, talk about delicious! Worth every penny to support good people making delicious food and sourcing locally and making goods in-house. Keep up the great work.

New Orleans finally gets a brick and mortar shop for Jamboree Jams! These are the best jams and the best donuts I have ever had in my life, hands down. Every component of the donuts is perfect, they are fluffy, not too sweet, the sugar on the outside is perfect, the various jams and creams they are filled with are made from local ingredients and are to die for. I ate a chocolate cream donut earlier today and pretty much lost my mind it was so good. The shop itself is very cute and inviting. All of the JJ jam jar design and merch is designed beautifully, I've rarely seen such consistent and beautiful aesthetic choices. I will be proudly wearing my very cute and soft Jamboree Jams sweatshirt and dreaming of the next time I get to eat these donuts.

It doesn’t feel like a weekend if I haven’t popped into Jamboree Jams! It is one of the most peaceful, tranquil, and welcoming establishments I have been in, but with some of the most exciting bites I’ve had in New Orleans. Every new flavor of pastry cream is to die for and so inventive. Anytime I think I have a favorite jam, I try a new one that is even more delicious. Cannot recommend enough.

I have been ordering jams from Sara ever since she opened her online shop and they are consistently amazing! The spicy satsuma is probably my favorite jam of all time and every flavor I've tried has been delicious. My orders are always packaged so beautifully and carefully and Sara goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I always feel good supporting Sara and her team because I know she takes such care to create quality, ethically made products and she gives back to her community. I can't wait until I can visit the new store in person!
