This is excellent food. I never had anything but good food. Catfish, shrimp, veggies, salad, everything, tip-top. Best burgers and onion rings around. The staff are very personable. I was never told no on any requests!

This little country café is located in an actual cattle auction facility. Extensive menu. Excellent cheeseburger! Unsweetened tea was very good. They have very limited hours so check before driving all the way our to Flatonia.

Make the drive to Flatonia for this food! It's perfection. Cooked with love and so tasty! It could be like a lot of us, not much to look at on the outside but get inside and WOW. Jamie's is full of heart, personality, love, and good eats!!

I have a new favorite burger!!! I found this "gem" cause I was hungry during drive back from Houma to San Antonio. I will definitely plan next trip so I can stop again... or make a special trip! It's only a couple of minutes off I-10. Everyone but particularly Riley make you feel like a guest in their home. The service was great, food served hot and delicious.... They do everything right!!! It's only 90 miles, from San Antonio (95 from my driveway) and worth the trip!!! Thank you everyone at Jamie's Cafe....

WoW, what a great burger! This cafe is located at the local cattle sale barn/ cattle auction. It is a nice quaint place and on the outside it stated best burger in town and they were not lying. Ordered a bacon cheese burger with home cut fries and it was awesome The bun with a nice toast , bacon strips cooked perfectly nice cheese slice perfectly melted the meat patty was cooked perfect and green lettuce , fresh tomato and just enough pickle chips. The Frys were perfect and I can't wait to get back here and try the rest of the menu. If you are driving on IH 10 and near the area I would venture off course and stop in. Call first and make sure they are open just saying.

4 of us went to Jamie's for first time. Had some issues with the map but called and got help. We each had different meals and all of the meals were great. A lot of food! The staff was friendly and the service was awesome! I will go back next time I'm in the area.

I certainly didn't expect to find a gem of a restaurant located in the middle of a livestock commission, that holds the best burger title, but if you think about it, where else would you get amazing burgers...and meatloaf... and hand battered fresh crunch onion rings.. and okra. I am stuffed! Jamie's restaurant and Jamie herself was fantastic!

Does this place even exist anymore? We attempted to find it and got nowhere. The Yelp map showed a different location than Apple Maps but neither appears to be right.

All the locals eat here and the food was great. You can miss it because it is at a livestock auction house. Worth stopping here.

It's a great little gem that has the best homemade southern food. Really, only the locals know about it. Every single thing I've ever had from Jamie's is the best. And the owner and her family are always there. Such a good experience. If you haven't tried it, you need to!

Traveling from El Paso to Houston, we found a restaurant near by while driving on Interstate 10. We drove to the gps location, but only found a cattle auction house. Several pickup trucks were parked there. So we drove up closer and found a small sign the said, Jamie's Cafe. What a wonderful, memorable meal! Chicken Fried steak and Fried catfish were delicious! The 6 different sides we ordered were amazing, especially the cucumber salad, fried zucchini, and fried okra! Jamie, the owner was wonderful along with the entire staff. I can't wait to drive through again! 5 Stars all the way!

You know this place has delicious food when it is jam packed with the locals. Our kids loved their food, and our sandwich was DELICIOUS. I like that they have more nutritious items on the menu to balance the heavier food items, plus most everything seems to be made fresh. The tea was refreshing, even though I like mine a little stronger. The staff is always super friendly, service is fast, and the ambience is filled with local charm reflective of the community and the owners. Also, the price is good.

We loved it. The food is delicious and the price is affordable. Definitely coming back if we ever pass this place again.

Only open Monday lunch, Thurs & Fri, Mon during the cattle auction. Great home cooking! Packed....the locals know good food! Meat & 3, burgers, chicken fried steak. All cooked & served by the nicest people! Will be back!

Had lunch here for the first time today and loved it! Food was wonderful and so was the service. The chicken fajita tacos were delish, the cucumber salad was fresh and tangy and my salad with homemade ranch dressing was super yummy. I can't wait to go back!

Great food with a huge selection. Good small town feel and definitely worth the detour off I-10. Friday is fried shrimp and catfish day. The cheeseburger and curly fries were amazing.
