Jamile

"This is a highly original restaurant which is well-known in the media thanks to its popular chef, Henrique Fogaça (Sal Gastronomia), who is a member of the Brazilian MasterChef panel. Behind the modern façade, its urban-industrial interior is set over two floors, with a veranda, an attractive roof terrace for private events and – the main attraction – an open kitchen. Dishes have their roots in Brazilian cooking but also encompass contemporary flavours, and use local produce whenever possible." - Michelin Inspector

Google
Truly an incredible dining experience. Our steak was the best we’ve had in all of Brazil (and that’s saying something!). The cocktails are fantastic and the espresso was a delicious top off to our meal. Came here for lunch and dinner. We highly recommend! Can’t to come back.

It´s not the first time that I got frustrated with the restaurant. Besides the great atmosphere, meat was totally dry, well well done, bananas were poor and black, both options were terrible. Is below expectation for a single restaurant

What a surprise. An outstanding menu with great service. Waiters are very welcoming, offer excellent advise but are not on top of you all the time. The place was half full which is a shame. The restaurant deserves to be full.

OMG! I went to this place with no expectations, the atmosphere was a little fancy but good. The waiter was nice and well kept and made my group and I feeling welcomed. Literally, I had a food orgasm once I introduced the food in my mouth, simply incredible!!!! It must be a must go to anyone that loves to eat good and well prepared food. It’s a fine dining restaurant I’d say, so be prepared to spend few buck$$$$. However, trust me, you won’t regret it.

Had an amazing meal here. Staff were so friendly and helpful! Please open a branch in Ireland😂. The other restaurant Cao Veio is amazing too!

Today, at least, the house wasn't up to its name. The bill of 200 reais per couple don't justify the food. The 'tiras de costela' was very fibrous, the steak with pure was more of a trivial plate with nothing special on it and the food took really a while to come.

Super awesome experience and food. The only let-down was that our mains arrived literally as we finished our starters. Let a person breathe!

Extremely bad design on the tables, horrible for big groups. Super expensive, not one speciality. Everything is super average, totally not worth the price. The waiters are super confused, focused on managing too many tables. When we were there, the AC was off, and even when it turned on, I was dripping. Don't go there. There's SOOOOOO MUCH better options in the area.

Yelp
I came here for dinner with some friends on a holiday and I was glad that they were open that day otherwise I would have not gone there. Pleasant surprise. Here is the breakdown: FOOD: They had a couple of options and I ordered the cupim dish. The cupim with the farofa was excellent and really enjoy it. The mandioca was a bit dried and lacked that flavor. AMBIANCE/ DECOR: Nice spot to come with friends without going to crazy or a nice dinner spot for family. Very hard to judge as we went on a holiday and the restaurant was empty. But nice casual decor to it with the open kitchen layout. You have the option to eat st the counter by the kitchen. SERVICE Enjoyed the service. Very attentive and friendly the waiters. OVERALL Star for the food, decor and service. One extra for the overall experience. Missing the wow factor but would definitely come back.

Yelp
My wife and I picked this spot to take out some friends. We really loved the atmosphere with the open kitchen with seating. The food was very good, compliments to the cooks! The service was the only thing that took my experience from a 5 to a 4 star review. I would def recommend this to friends and look forward to coming back. Oh the service wasn't pleasant because they seemed a bit snobbish and didn't pay close attention to their customers.

Yelp
Fantastic Brazilian food. Modern. One of the better Brazilian meals I've had actually. I had the meat dish with banana and farofa. Nice atmosphere and great service!

Yelp
Burrata starter was mixed. Cheese was sour tasting, but the diced tomatoes, herbs and nuts it sat on was delicious. Ceviche is the best I've ever had!!! The moqueca was also flavorful, and the sliced bananas were a nice touch. Service friendly and responsive. Without hesitation, the waiter changed our table when small pieces of debris fell from the ceiling onto our table. We were disappointed that the chef wouldn't swap out the mashed potatoes for buttered pasta for our daughter. Although we had great view of the open kitchen, the restaurant lacks in ambience since all the tables are lined against the brick wall. Except for the burrata, all our other dishes were outstanding.

Yelp
A very nice restaurant with a good menu and wine list. Outdoor seating in the back. Knowledgeable and polite service. The restaurant was full on a Friday night. Meal was good but not outstanding. I would come back to try again. A lot of traditional Brazilian dishes done with a modern flair.

Yelp
I went three times. The food was good but far from amazing. The service was ok but faulty each time The ambiance is great...The restaurant is overrated and I probably won't go back. I didn't eat anything that I would crave again...unfortunately

Yelp
Nice looking restaurant on a busy street that would not suggest such a restaurant would be located there. They did a great job converting the interior into a friendly and trendy looking place. Service is great and the food is delicious (ceviche is better than la mar). Small problem was large pieces of dust falling from the ceiling onto our plates and tables but after changing tables that problem went away.

Yelp
Jamile is a slightly overhyped restaurant that is still quite good. The minimalist décor is a stark contrast with the surrounding Bexiga establishments, although I thought the tables were borderline "cheap". I only tried the mint julep, but I thought for the prices on the drink menu, they were underwhelming. It came with an insane amount of chipped ice, so it ended up being more akin to a mint snowball than a proper mint julep. The service was amateurish at times, until I found a server who was extremely professional, after which I made a point of calling whenever I needed something (I wish I could remember his name). The food itself was great, and lived up to the gastronomical experience I was expecting.
