"Caribbean fare goes completely vegan at Jamin’ Vegan near the western edge of the San Fernando Valley. Meatless proteins come flavored with jerk spices and rich curries, while coconut rice and plantains are served on the side." - Cathy Chaplin

Amazing, such clean and tasteful eating. My man and I could not stop talking about it. We had the jerk chicken and sweet chili chicken. BOMB AF! I love rice in generally but to eat like I was back ok the east coast. The portion was fulfilling. If I lived here I would come every week faithfully! Since becoming vegan haven’t had my regular share of cultural food especially living in Colorado. I’m so happy I found this place I will be back next go around! Visit and try it worth the money and time!

This is an excellent way for vegans and vegetarians to experience Jamaican food! I loved the ability to try the jerk chicken drumsticks and rice. The chicken was incredibly chewy and very realistic, I was surprised! One meal was filling and was actually enough for two meals for me. I did not love the rice so much as it did have an interesting flavor. The jerk sauce is spicy so keep that in mind. Loved the fried plantains, and actually wish I had more than 2 pieces in my order!

Food was delicious! Cute little place, very sanitary, thank you for keeping the community safe ❤️ I had spicy jerk tofu, coconut rice and beans, and fried plantains. First time ever in my life eating jamaican food, and I'm sold! Can't wait to go back when I'm in town again!

I ordered a vegan Ox tail with rice & beans, and fried plantain. The "meat" was delicious as well as the sauce. Portions were big. I would definitely go back and try more dishes.

I love this place so much. The food is always delicious and fillings and on point. The people are always very friendly, as well. The spice level is perfect. The island rice is to die for and I also really love their steamed cabbage. It's so so SO GOOD! Please, check them out. They've also grown a lot in their options and it's really cool to see them grow and thrive. I love Jamin Vegan. Big fan.

Pretty good for an oxtail alternative. I've missed them so much since becoming vegan and was happy to find Jamin. The texture is so similar and the taste of the sauce was as close as you could probably get for a vegan alternative. The amount of food you get for the price is very fair. And the plantains were perfect. Don't hesitate to try this place out.
