JAMNOLA

"Zoom out. What’s this place all about?Joy, art, and music are the ingredients in this locally sourced jam, a “Crescent City-themed cultural experience.” Located in converted warehouse space in the Marigny neighborhood, this 5,500 square foot artistic adventure playground was an instant hit when it opened in the summer of 2020. Thanks to its social media-friendly nature, word spread among locals. What will we find here?JAM is a series of experiential rooms, each a collaboration between a group of local artists. Guests are guided through the rooms by “storytellers,” who help interpret the installations and give some local context to those who need it. Paintings, installations, and sculptures—most of them with an interactive element—celebrate the history, music, food, and culture of New Orleans. There are carnival float-sized busts of musicians, life-sized crawfish pots to jump into, and virtual reality booths that put guests in artistic control of the art being created. It’s a sensory playground and a joyous one at that. The twelve exhibits are collaborative installations and are permanent but could be visited multiple times without them seeming tired. Although the guides move your group along to each room, there’s plenty of time to explore, take photos and ask questions. You can touch and interact with most of the exhibits and it feels liberating. What did you make of the crowd? The visitor groups are a real demographic mix. The art is incredibly accessible and much of it is almost an extension of the creations that you would see on floats around Mardi Gras. It’s very family-friendly, and kids will love climbing into things and trying on various costumes. There’s no right or wrong way to experience the exhibits, and so the place has real universal appeal. On the practical tip, how were the facilities? The twelve rooms are easy to navigate, especially with the guides on hand, and the tour lasted around an hour, with time at the end to linger in the final space and see the gift shop. There were plenty of spots to take a seat, some of them attached to or part of the installations, and people with mobility issues would find it fairly easy going. Any guided tours worth trying? All visits are on timed tickets and are part of a guided group, and so the tour comes baked into the entrance price. Gift shop: obligatory, inspiring—or skip it?The gift store had some postcards and prints of the installations, and a wide range of books and more. All of the stock was themed around New Orleans artists, musicians and chefs, and other local people of artistic note. Any advice for the time- or attention-challenged?As the tour is guided, you really see everything en route, although of course within each room you can move around independently and choose to spend more time with whatever takes your fancy. You can’t visit without jumping into the crawfish pot or taking a selfie next to a human-sized crawfish on a bench, and the virtual reality photo booth is an impressive, state-of-the-art exhibit." - Paul Oswell

Great experience! We visited the old location a few years back and decided to visit again this year. We weren’t aware that they’d moved to a new location which is just as nice as the old one! Very unique exhibit! Beautiful works of art! Definitely a photo a photo moment!

Google
This place was such a hit definitely a five-star definitely worth it. I know as an adult I had a blast and I know my family did too. Pretty cool to see old recycle things turned into something beautiful

The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and friendly staff ready to enhance your experience. Each room bursts with stunning art that seems to leap off the walls, making for unforgettable photo opportunities you'll treasure for years to come! And the cherry on top? A fantastic gift shop brimming with unique treasures crafted by local artists! You’ll find one-of-a-kind shirts and hats that you won’t see anywhere else in the city—perfect mementos to wear while reminiscing about your unforgettable times in Nola. This is a must-do on your New Orleans adventure! I highly recommend it!

Google
Had such an amazing time at JAMNOLA!! My aunt and I were in town for Jazz Fest and decided to take a break from the festival to check out the new space, and I’m so glad we did!! This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! The exhibit is the perfect mix of educational and entertaining. Every installation is visually stunning but also interactive and super fun! We loved learning more about New Orleans culture, while having a blast taking tons of photos in the super cool exhibits. JAMNOLA has officially become a staple for us to visit when we're in town. Can’t wait to come back next year—this place is truly a gem!!!

Google
We enjoyed this experience. Rocky and Heidi made the tour fun and very entertaining. Lots of opportunities to get some insta/social pics. The way the art is displayed is fun for absolutely all ages.

Google
As much as I’d like to give this place 5 stars for the culture, I cannot. The time that I visited was while they were transitioning from the old location to the new location. The address hadn’t been updated so I had to walk but it wasn’t too bad. Got there to purchase a ticket but they definitely were not finished, but were full open. I did enjoy hearing the stories of NOLA and the origin of practices that happen here, but it is a very quick experience. I wish I could have gotten a full experience as it felt rushed as some of the exhibits were only set up temporarily and some were still being built. Still some good things to see in there though.

Google
This was such a cool museum to visit. It’s located in an old bakery building, and the exhibits are made with recycled materials. It shares the history of New Orleans life and culture, and great photo ops!

Google
I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is such a waste of money. Purchased four tickets just to see a colorful building. Based off reviews, I really expected more. It is nothing interesting about this place for it to be the price it is. They really should not be charging more than $15. Money is much better spent at WonderWorks or anything else! Very disappointing.

Yelp
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY OR FAST ENOUGH. This experience is truly magical-it is a feast for the eyes, and it is made by local artists celebrating New Orleans music, art and culture. The only reason my photos here are so few is because it is something you need to see for yourself. I left absolutely charmed.

Yelp
Worth the price for the art, picture opps and history. The first three rooms you start off with a guide, short movie and explanation of Mardi Gras history, the native American tribal wear that inspired Mardi Gras suits, and the Mardi Gras Indians. Shortly after you can go at your own pace and take photos, read the information, etc. The Mardi Gras Indians named themselves after native Indians to pay them respect for their assistance in escaping the tyranny of slavery. It was often local Indians who accepted slaves into their society when they made a break for freedom, and taught them how to survive in the wilderness. There are dozens of Mardi Gras Indian "tribes". This is distinctly African American and some say it's an appropriation of another culture, however, it's pure respect. "Before masking, or donning eye-catching custom suits and gathering in the streets, one must learn songs and their meaning, lingo, signals, and--above all--how to embody the Mardi Gras Indian spirit." - Smithsonian. I found this short tour and exhibit to be so interesting mixed with some fun for all ages. At the end of the tour, you receive a Jamnola cup with a QR code that you can use for discounts throughout the city. Not far from Frenchman Street and about 3/4th a mile down Royal from the French Quarter.

Yelp
The advertisement for Jamnola happened to come on my IG feed on my recent trip to NOLA. I was intrigued so I purchased a ticket for a Sunday afternoon. The museum is self guided and interactive. They allow an hour for each appointment. This is a great place for content creators. However, it can be frustrating for people who visit that want to generally look and read about the art by scanning the QR codes. People spent a lot of time taking personal pictures. I found myself having to go around them. My group also ran into the group before us so it became quite crowded. In any event, I saw some great art and learned a bit more about New Orleans culture. The museum was $36 (total) for an adult. For that price, I would have preferred a guided tour with an allotted time for pictures. The current location is close to Studio Be, which is a great art gallery. I would combine the two if planning a visit.

Yelp
First time in NOLA my family and I just decided to visit here. Very educational and we had fun seeing the unique and different artwork. Bri was an amazing tour guide!
google avatar

Yelp
From the service we received upon entry to the details, the hostess provided throughout the beginning of the tour. I loved that we have the opportunity to take our own pictures and go through the rest of the exhibit on our own. It was a super cool experience! I ended up buying some things out of the gift shop on my way out and I definitely would recommend you do the same.

Yelp
Booked this experience on a whim and so glad we did! You need a reservation time and you have to book it online (if you walk in, you'll need to book your reservations on your phone right there in front of them). But, it's super quick and easy and is definitely worth the price. The tour starts guided for the first 3 rooms (and our guide was seriously so friendly and informative) then they release you to wander at your own pace through the rest of the rooms. Every room is themed and has some truly remarkable art. Every inch of this place is photogenic and, because they limit the number of tickets sold in each time block, you won't have to worry about a bunch of strangers in the background of all your pics. If you're looking for something memorable, quick, and representative of the New Orleans art scene, don't skip Jamnola!

Yelp
This is a pretty cool interactive museum & I found it by a ad online. You have to get a ticket to walk through & you walk through at your own pace which is pretty cool. They have a walk you touch & it meshes music in the room. There's a lobster by a real piano where you can be Alicia Keys too lol. There's artistic walls & huge sculptures. It's also good for adults or kids.

Yelp
The history of NOLA was inspiring and shows how you rich the culture is there. We had an amazing historian that shared with us how he left to go to Colorado for 18 years and had recently returned and felt right back at home. The art work is nice and is all from recycled materials. You cannot tell, this is true artistry. My cousin found this place on TikTok and it did not disappoint. The tickets were around $32 pp, you have to book online, you cannot book at the site.

Yelp
Getting here was a bit of a walk from the French Quarter, but I was really excited to see the immersive rooms and pieces from local artists. The first few rooms were a bit difficult to get photos in since they let a large group in at a time. Luckily, we were the first group to arrive, so when we went ahead a bit we were able to have many of the rooms more to ourselves for photos and also learning from the guides who had lots of knowledge both about the art pieces themselves but also on the culture of New Orleans. I really liked some of the interactive pieces, but I did wish the place were a bit bigger.
google avatar

Yelp
If you want to learn about culture and history of New Orleans you would love Jamnola! It was a unique experience filled with incredible art sculptures, paintings and fun themed rooms! We had a tour guide for the majority of the tour and she explained the meanings of the art and history of each room. The pictures you get to take are extraordinary and will make your vacation photos worth it for the Gram or Facebook. Jamnola was a fun and unique experience. Check out my photos to see!
google avatar

Tramaine B.

Yelp
This is a particularly guided/self guided tour around several rooms of New Orleans. Not really my cup of tea but the staff was nice. Lots of options to take different pictures with props. There was a little new orleans history in a dew of the rooms Don't really have much to say. Just know its a fast process. Nothing that will make you break a sweat
google avatar

Demishia O.

Yelp
Jamnola museum was a unique experience really good to understand the New Orleans culture. I definitely loved it for the pictures. I recommend you attending. The museum is not gonna take you more than an hour.
google avatar

Angel W.

Yelp
This place was so fun! I highly recommend if you are visiting New Orleans and looking for something to do. We did not have much time in the museum but we enjoyed every second of it.

Yelp
Joy. Art. Music. JAMNOLA. When my daughter first proposed going here, actually I wasn't sure at first. Didn't want to go to another selfie spot. Didn't she want to go to the WWII Museum or The Aquarium instead? But.... JAMNOLA is so much more than that. Love the celebration of the joy, the art and the music that makes New Orleans so unique. A storyteller takes you on a journey. Art painted on a tabletop. Baby Dolls and Umbrellas. Go cups as portrait art. (Take one home and scan the QR code for local discounts--so clever.) Love how the theme of reuse, reduce, recycle permeates the local artistry. Chandeliers made from liter Mountain Dew bottles. Mardi Gras beads creating colorful patterns on the floors, the walls and the ceiling. Catch a reflection for more interesting photos. Records melted into a garden filled with vinyl flowers. Feel free to look, listen and feel. Hand sanitizers conveniently located throughout the warehouse rooms. Learn more about Mardi Gras and the Mardi Gras Indians with a film locally produced. Explore the parade routes or the bayous with a family friendly alligator who likes selfies. Become part of a crawfish boil. Or play the piano or sit on a lawn chair next to an oversized mud bug at a Louisiana picnic. Look down at the paper. It's the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Get dressed up with a Doberge cake or Blue Plate hat. "Makin' groceries" at Schwegmann's. Grocery cart included. Jammin' with some Hot Sauce. Explore the Garden of Legends. Irma Thomas. Louis Armstrong. Fats Domino. Professor Longhair. Make music in the sound room. So family friendly. Go as a tourist. Go as a local. Have fun exploring the joy, the art and the music of New Orleans. Laissez les bon temps rouler. Note: Make a reservation. Groups limited to 10 per time slot. Perfect for both social distancing and for getting pictures with just your group. Local and student discounts available. Local? Go on Thursdays for just $15.

Bayly M.

Yelp
a extremely beautiful experience. 10/10 quality music and scenery. kid friendly and interactive.

Alexandria C.

Yelp
What a fun family friend activity! We all had a great time, there was so much to see and experience. It's not too pricey and also walking distance to the tourist area. Definitely would recommend!
google avatar

Kai M.

Yelp
Okay, let's start by saying, this is a really dope spot for the gram and TikTok so make sure to charge your phones lol Next tip: if it's packed, you'll have to push to get your pictures because folks can't always buy a clue and move it along. This was my dilemma lol the family before me was taking forever and your girl just wanted some photos! Anywho! I got lots of pictures by letting them explore one room while I enjoyed the other room. It's a rather short exhibit so don't expect to do a lot of walking. But, it's really content worthy and that's what I loved. The artwork spoke volume and gave you a beautiful inside view of NOLA. What I appreciated was also how they incorporated a sustainable approach...go see it! No spoilers. But this place was vibrant! And the NOLA art, music, food and culture echoed throughout each room. It was an art lovers dream to simply walk and admire the work. I really enjoyed myself and did it in 30 minutes lol I'm sure that you can walk through it faster or slower, take your pick! Just be sure to capture great pictures! I should mention that it is a self guided tour after one of the attendants gives a little background and ground rules. Love love love it and encourage folks to support this business and visit!
google avatar

Brandy J.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful. Jamnola exceeded my expectations 100%. Every single room had so much history and detail from the walls to the floors. Even the welcome area was amazing. I definitely recommend whether you're solo, with friends, or with a significant other. You will have a great time.
google avatar

Jamila C.

Yelp
It never fails to amaze me how many talented people there are in New Orleans. Each room is full of creativity with historical context which is partly what makes this city such a gem. This attraction is for all ages as the bright colors and aesthetics will grab anyone's attention. JAMNOLA highlights local artists, many of their names you just may recognize. It's a short exhibit and was over sooner than I hoped, but I am glad we went.
google avatar

Aaron K.

Yelp
We came as a family of 6 and had a ball. Very well thought out rooms, appreciated the staff walking with us and providing some history, but also not overcrowding us. Plenty photos were taken and overall fun was had. Definitely would recommend for anybody who stops in to New Orleans.
google avatar

Chrystle G.

Yelp
JamNOLA was amazing! We were so glad we were able to visit this for our first time in NOLA. My only complaint is I wish it was longer, but for sure it was a quality over quantity type of deal. Each room was full of art and super interesting. Some rooms even had some points of interaction. $30 per adult for entry fee wasn't bad at all. The first few rooms, someone escorted us, but after that, we were left to go at our own pace throughout the rest of the museum.
google avatar

Tenecqua D.

Yelp
JamNola did not disappoint. My daughter enjoyed the interactive exhibit! It displays the one of a kind artistry, that only can be found in New Orleans. I highly recommend people check this out. They offer a tour guide during the day and self exploration in the evening.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
I've been really feeling these types of art museums. More exciting than the typical paintings on the wall types (nothing against those). As soon as we stepped foot in the door we were greeted by the host and she directed us to the waiting area and gave us a brief rundown and the passed it over to the guide. The guide was just as friendly and provided a bit of history about some of the artwork and displays in the first few rooms. After that, you are free to roam on your own. Please clear out space on your phone beforehand because you will definitely have the urge to just keep flicking away. As you walk through the exhibits you will randomly be greeted by a staff member who will offer their assistance and provide you with more fun facts.
google avatar

Crystal P.

Yelp
I randomly found this exhibit by googling before we even got to New Orleans, it just seemed awesome and perfect. I love things like this, it looks cool on Instagram, it's fun and my son is entertained. Anyway we showed up late which you aren't supposed to do but the woman was nice enough to let us get into the group that just started. It's like 2 rooms or something of a guide then self guided. It was really cool and we had a blast. I only wish I got my son popping out of the lobster pot but nooooo he refused lol. I'd definitely recommend this place for fun. It was something fun to do before heading to see family in the burbs. This was one of our highlights from our vacation this place.
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
JamNola is an awesome spot filled with local imagination, information in history all in one with an explosion of colors and creativity on top. Your guided through this warehouse of imagination and fun. Where you get to experience history, art and culture from an local artist 's point of view. You also get to interact and take pictures with the props in certain areas. There's lots of detail and something different in every room. Photo ops you'll be able to get a price list and very unique. I would highly recommend any visiting group. Our locals check this spot out.

Yelp
Great place to take pictures and learn something. Took my mom for her 70th birthday she loved it
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to go with friends or family! You get to enjoy a series of immersive rooms with different themes based around New Orleans culture. Great photo opportunities in every room! A little pricey but we got a Groupon for it!
google avatar

Yelp
A small fun collection of about 17 different exhibits celebrating New Orleans' Joy Art and Music (JAM). The warehouse is located in a kind of out-of-the-way spot - we walked to it, but I recommend taking a ride share. You buy tickets for entrance on-line only, but fortunately there were a few spots still left when we arrived. Allocate yourself about an hour to wander around, including the gift shop. The exhibits start with a tour guide, who gives you a few details about what you're seeing, and then you are left to ramble at your own pace. My friend and I had a surprisingly good time here, just laughing and taking pictures. I loved that many of the pieces lended themselves to being interactive. My favorite sections were the ones with the crawfish sunbathing, in the bathtub, playing piano, and stirring a pot of boil and the one with the leaves, where you could write your own inspiring message on a leaf post-it and stick it on the wall. The kids that were part of our tour seemed to absolutely love it, but it's even fun for adults, and we ended up with some great pictures.
google avatar

Shatonya V.

Yelp
Very interesting museum. The artwork was vivid and the staff was amazing. It was a very short tour in comparison to the price. It's definitely a must-see. I suggest going early it's pretty busy.( be on time for an appointment
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to visit with awesome photo opportunities and history lessons. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting New Orleans
google avatar

Jazzmin B.

Yelp
Such a fun cute pop up. I stumbled across Jamnola from an online search. From the reviews. I knew the shop was perfect for me. The staff is everything and they are happy to take your pictures for you. I came alone and had so much fun. Good spots for tourist or even a date night.
google avatar

Charlotte F.

Yelp
Such a fun experience! When in New Orleans, you must plan to pop into JamNola for fun photo ops. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Each room is filled with art popping off the walls making for fun-filled photo opportunities that you will cherish for years to come! Best of all, they have a great gift shop filled with unique gifts from local artists and one-of-a-kind shirts and hats that you will not find at other places in the city, and you'll wear them all the time while reminiscing on your good times in Nola. A must-do when visiting! Highly recommend!

Yelp
JAMNOLA (Joy, Art, & Music New Orleans) was such a fun time. I live for a good photo opportunity, and what better place for photo opportunities in New Orleans than a selfie museum with the theme of "celebrating the iconic art, music, food and theatrics of New Orleans". There are so many cool exhibits to strike a pose and/or listen to good music around the entire museum, all of the guides there were all so vibrant and fun, my friends and I really enjoyed ourselves. There's also a cute gift shop at the end you can buy souvenirs in. The only downside of our experience I could think of was that sometimes we were rushed through certain parts of the museum because they try to avoid too many groups bunching up in certain areas; however, that wasn't a huge problem because I watched America's Next Top Model all throughout quarantine so I knew how to get a good picture fairly quickly. lol But forreal, JAMNOLA is a must if you like to take pictures, learn about culture, or just want to do something fun in New Orleans.

Yelp
Planned a trip to New Orleans and while putting together the itinerary of things to do, I came across a TikTok of this place so I added it to the list of things to do. This place was an absolute gem! From the time we walked in, to the time we were finished! The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. This immersive art museum is a must! It took us about an hour to walk through each room and fully take in all of the detail. Plenty of opportunities for photo ops. I like the first part of the tour where they give a history lesson of New Orlean's culture. The artists of the exhibits did an extraordinary job capturing the culture and telling stories through art. I really can't say which room was my favorite because they all were! From the crawfish exhibit, the musical pioneers exhibit at the end, each room was truly wonderful. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first came here but it exceeded my expectations! Also, you receive a souvenir cup at the end which was the perfect touch! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Kassilynn T.

Yelp
Okay okay okay okay OKAY!!! We definitely enjoyed this spot however please do not purchase the tickets from their website...it is pricey for how small the actual museum is. We grabbed our tickets on Groupon!! Now let's get into it...this is a dope experience. We had to rsvp for a time slot and once we arrived didn't have to wait long to enter. We had a tour guide in the beginning that explained the history of the museum as well as facts about Nola and introduced us to a short film that was very intriguing. This museum is so educational but also entertaining. There are plenty of photo ops as well as just knowledge about New Orleans and it's people from old to new. Also the last picture of the Afro made of cups you're actually able to take one (not from the wall) and it has discounts for other places through the city. I encourage anyone who is visiting to check this place out you won't be disappointed. Also the staff is friendly
google avatar

Chad J.

Yelp
I usually don't review places like this, but this place was so fun and unique I had to! Great interactive place where you can be part of the art. Great photo opportunities because you can feel and touch everything in the museum (well almost). Definitely worth a visit!!

Yelp
Wow. I really loved everything about Jamnola and more! It was great to be immersed in the culture of New Orleans, and to see such creative artistry. I could not help but be filled with so much joy, surrounded by so much beauty. Jamnola was definitely my Happy Place. I would highly recommend this experience if you are visiting New Orleans. Grateful for places like this.

Yelp
We had a great time at Jamnola - an interactive art exhibit in NOLA featuring local artists. We were able to secure street parking right outside the entrance. Once inside there was a guided portion through the first 3 rooms where history of Jamnola, the artists and QR code system was explained. Each room had unique offerings and Instagram worthy picture opportunities. Small groups allowed us to really explore each room without feeling rushed. Took us about an hour to go through. Highly recommend reading about each artist and inspiration for the room decor. Kid friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
In New Orleans all the way from New York!!! This was a greater experience with wonderful customer service, tickets are $34 with tax You see A lot of wonderful insta worthy pics !! I loveeeeee it it's interactive and educational Every room is full of historical information Rooms with fun activities you can take pics n videos At the end you bump into a gift shop! The employees are amazing and very welcoming Overall, I loved my Experience

Yelp
How cute and fun was this place ?! I love all the NOLA history and art we got from this little gem. The creativity was such a treat and the tour guides really rep NOLA. I purchased tickets on Groupon which was a little cheaper than buying them directly from the museum( I was on a budget) but the tour started promptly and we weren't rushed. This is definitely a perfect space for Instagram posts.

Yelp
I've known about this place for a while and had been wanting to come. Finally, Yelp Elite brought us together here. And an AMAZING time was shared by all. Idk if the Food Truck is alw there, but demboys know their way around a chicken sandwich! JAMNOLA is a great and unusual way to explore New Orleans art, history and culture. I look forward to visiting again and planning trips for some cool kids and adults that I know.
google avatar

Yelp
Somehow after so much research on things to do prior to coming to NOLA, I didn't even know this place existed until accidentally coming across a TikTok. It's important to know right of the bat that the tickets for this museum are pricey (over $30,) but we definitely felt like it was worth it. Each room you walk into has a different theme, and is painted from floor to ceiling in crazy cool colors! There are an endless amount of photo ops (perfect for your Insta pics!) and even a few interactive spots. The beginning of the museum will be guided to give you a feel for the place, but afterward it is self-guided so you can go at your own pace. We loved JAMNOLA! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something 'not typical' to do in New Orleans.
google avatar

Chrishon H.

Yelp
This was super fun! My friend from college was in town and I invited her to join me here at JamNola to catch up. Our time was full of fun and laughs while posing in all of the different rooms. They were all colorful with beautiful stories behind them. I would most definitely recommend this if you're looking for something fun and different to do.
google avatar

Yelp
If you like to take pictures to document your memories - this is the place! You also get a treat in celebrating the culture of New Orleans. Time well spent!
google avatar

Glecy L.

Yelp
First off, do not be late!!!! we were late and we had to reschedule. They were so accommodating in rescheduling so we didn't really mind. The museum itself is really great. They had so much fun room... it really captures the essence of new orleans. i love the music they have in each room. One particular room i truly enjoyed was the crawfish room because it was really interactive!!! we also got to see a short clip about the mardi gras and the tradition behind it. must go!!!
google avatar

Elnora G.

Yelp
A unique, cool selfie museum centered on New Orleans culture. I've seen JamNOLA on numerous travel reccs and finally had a chance to go. I thought it would be like other selfie museums in the sense of having general art but was pleasantly surprised to see this was 100% unique to New Orleans and included art from local artists. They also work with local businesses and allow you a free cup that you can use for discounted drinks at local bars. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 4 is wishing it could be a little bit longer with maybe 2-3 more interactive stations.

Yelp
Lots of fun photo ops and some NOLA history/facts along the way. The staff is super nice and they go out their way to make it a memorable experience!

Yelp
I took a tour with Gina and she was absolutely great. She is herself a local artist and it was cool to get to hear her personal anecdotes, especially about what Mardi Gras is like as a local resident, since I wasn't there for Mardi Gras. Warmly recommend taking the tour with her!

Yelp
Jamnola was a very pleasant find and highly recommend it to anyone. Provides an interactive experience about the history of the black and indigenous community, the significance of Mardi Gras and the indigenous costumes. We experienced a positive exposure to the history, culture, art, music. and community of the New Orleans past. Great way to appreciate the depth of the culture.
