Creative cocktails & bar bites in a retro-chic lounge

"Birthed by D.C. hospitality vets in 2021, Logan Circle’s cozy cocktail den showcases home-style party snacks and a cocktail menu that’s organized by spirit. Classics like gin-based Negronis and martinis play well alongside offbeat creations like the strong Sit Here And Drink (Basque whiskey, Ramazzotti amaro, Benedictine, red wine). The 850-square-foot space sports a throwback look that’s reminiscent of a hip mother’s living room. The team expands to Union Market district this spring with the hotly anticipated Bar Betsie." - Tierney Plumb

"This 14th Street cocktail den is covered in cute wallpaper-covered alcoves, so of course the bathrooms are covered in cheeky 1950s-paper-doll-style wallpaper that looks adorable in a bathroom selfie. However, the most famous part of the lavatories happens to be the ever-changing embroideries outside. The original flower-covered sign that read “please don’t do coke in the bathroom” was stolen (and returned) by a patron in 2022, which inspired the Jane Jane team to sell the constantly revolving embroidery art and donate the funds to local charities." - Abi Newhouse

"At Jane Jane’s annual costume contest I saw outfitted bar staff working the spooky 'Icons Risen' theme, and server Danny Tippett LaMaster served up the best look as David Bowie, winning the contest on Thursday." - Tierney Plumb

"Logan Circle’s go-to cocktail den also delivers playful riffs on drinking snacks. That includes finishing deviled eggs with a nostalgic Cheez-It crumble." - Tierney Plumb

"This adorable 14th Street NW bar is a must for cocktail enthusiasts, and the espresso martini ($15) doesn’t disappoint. Its classic recipe combines vodka, coffee liqueur, and cold brew — which pairs surprisingly well with the complimentary cheese crackers." - Tierney Plumb
