"There’s a little taco spot between two shops on Tinker Steet called Taco Juan’s, but your first priority here should be their ice cream counter where they serve Jane’s Homemade. This Kingston-based ice cream company makes the creamiest dark chocolate flavor that has ever graced our stomachs. It’s called Killer Chocolate, and we’d encourage you to try it (along with another scoop flavor like mint chip or salty caramel pretzel). This spot is cash-only, but there’s an ATM inside." - Team Infatuation

The ice cream is great! But go to the Kingston Candy Bar down the street to get it. This storefront is no longer here.

I just had the most heavenly ice cream of my life. Jane's is the creamiest, most deliciously rich flavor I've ever tasted in ice cream. The killer chocolate is so deeply, wonderfully chocolate, you never want it to end. The coffee and mocha flavors transport you to a perfect state of bliss. I had the good fortune to be with a large group and taste many of the flavors and they were all so good. I don't normally care about vanilla and that was amazing! And the salty caramel is definitely a dream come true. It will be hard to eat regular ice cream again. I am dreaming of a Jane's ice cream cake for my next birthday.

Absolutely the BEST ice cream I've ever had! If you ever need a sales person to increase your distribution, let me know. I purchase your ice cream at the pizza place in Rhinebeck so I can enjoy it at home and serve it to my family and friends. Thank you for making such delightfully delicious products.

Literally the best chocolate ice cream ever. And this is coming from a person who spent three months looking for a good ice cream shop. Their marshmallow sauce is divine. I asked one of the owners (I think), what was in the icing bag she was holding. It was whipped cream. She took my marshmallow sauce cup and put free whipped cream on it! It's been like... 15 minutes and the whipped cream is still holding its form. I will hands down any day drive 45 minutes from where I live for this ice cream. Please excuse grammatical, spelling and terrible formatting. One of my hands is busy holding ice cream

The coconut almond joy was AMAZING! If you can find the Limoncello it is definitely worth the trip just for that flavor, it was so creamy - almost like a gelato. We bought our cones and sundaes at the Kingston Candy Bar just down the street from where the ice cream is made. Totally amazing stuff!

Hands down your ice cream is what I grew up on and wish my old I've cream parlor was still serving it, Temptations cafe in Nyack dropped the ball on not serving your ice cream anymore. I stopped going there solely because of that. I miss it and wish I could have more of your great ice cream.

I had butter pecan and dulce de leche and all I kept tasting was mint, I'm guessing the scoop hadn't been cleaned or even rinsed off well before using it again. After reading the rave reviews for Jane's Ice Cream I expected something more than what I got. Even when I could taste it without the mint it didn't taste as good as all that. If that's New York's best ice cream than I don't think New York has very good taste in ice cream. It wasn't the worst that I have ever had by any means, but I can't say it was the best. I just think it was bland. I really couldn't tell any difference between the dulce de leche and the butter pecan except the nuts. They were both cold and wet, not even really creamy. Being as it is ice cream I expected creamy, but was sorely disappointed. Anyway, I wouldn't waste your money or your time.
