Small KBBQ spot in Santa Clara area. They actually sell Korean BBQ items, but also have the option to just get your typical Korean food dishes, as well, if you don't want KBBQ that day. This is a dinner and late night eats place. Their dishes are very homey and comforting, so it works with their opening and closing times.

Korean Barbeque Combos: #1) Anseem, chadolbaegi, samgyeopsal with seafood tofu soup (Tenderloin, beef brisket, and pork belly with seafood tofu soup): 4.4/5
This comes with a variety of meats and they also provide a tofu soup to go with it. All of the meats are nicely cut and tender. There is some nice marbling on some of the meat and they all appeared of optimal quality. The meats go well with all of the sides and ssamjang sauce. Something I like to do is dip the meat in the tteokbokki sauce, as well. The flavors just work together nicely for me. What I typically do is put the meat in the lettuce and dip it in the sauce. The lettuce adds a refreshing element to the meats and gives it some texture since the meats are tender. For their tofu soup, it comes out piping hot in the bowl. Flavor is quite nice. For spiciness, it was a good kick for me. Subjective, but I liked the balance of spice and seasonings here. Very warm and comforting.
Tteokbokki with ramen noodles and cheese: 4.7/5
This item comes with rice cake that includes fish cake, egg, and vegetables with sweet and spicy sauce. The sweet and spicy sauce is where it's at for me. Personal preference, but I love the level of sweetness. Others will perhaps say the balance of sweetness of spicy is off and too sweet, but I personally like it that way. The texture of the rice cakes are nicely cooked. They're chewy, but still have that nice bite to it. Fish cakes are always a must with this dish and they are not skimping with them. I will say though that I wish they had at least another egg added into the dish. There's a singular one and that might be related to the egg shortage these days. It's not a big concern, but I do love my eggs in this dish, as well. The noodles and cheese are provided with an additional cost. They are always a must for us though because anything with this sauce tastes amazing. If they bottled it up and sold that, I would have gotten one.
Note:
This place seasons their food items a little sweeter than other places. This is the case for their sauces, kimchi, pickled items, etc. It's delicious for me, but I understand that other people might not be too fond of this level of sweetness.

Quality: Fresh
Their meats are quite nice and I like the variety that is provided to us. They were all very tender and had nice flavor. Very nice marbling happening on the meats too. For their sides, the vegetable items were also very fresh, which I love. The items seemed fresh and not wilted.
Price: Little pricey
The prices do lean more on the expensive side. I have gone here once before and this is my second time, so I'm aware that inflation has affected their prices too. Between 3 people, the price was about $45 each. This might not be the case for everyone depending on what is bought. We went with a Korean BBQ, so it's naturally going to be more expensive. They have options for you to pick from though.
Service: Pleasant
Something about this restaurant is that a staff member will cook the meat for you. I don't see this happening often in Korean BBQ places, but this is one of them. Some people will find this a plus and others will prefer to cook the meat themselves. I'm pretty neutral about it and they weren't standing there the whole time. It was only to cook the meats, put them on the side so we can pick the pieces ourselves to eat, and then leave for a bit and come back to cook the next meat once we cleared the grill.
Ambiance: Homey
Very small and almost like a hole in the wall. It gives me very homey Korean household vibes. The interior looks like a small little shop. Not too many seats inside, but it seems optimal. We haven't had a concern with any wait times or seating yet.
Location/Parking: Hole in the wall
This shop is kind of hidden? It is located on the side of the road, but the signage and spot of it is almost hidden in plain sight. Something that was mentioned to me was that this place might do better if they were in a better location. Their food is quite good, but just their location is a little hidden. The parking space in the back is optimal for this area. There's not too many shops around here, so the parking appears optimal for the space.
