Stopped for breakfast. Great place to go. The food is delicious for and was served quickly. I had the eggs and polish sausage. My husband had the eggs with skirt steak. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The owner, Filipa, was absolutely wonderful. We had the nicest conversation with her. Definitely will be going back!!! Thank you for the great breakfast and conversation!

One of the best breakfast spots in the city. Classic flavors, fresh ingredients. Food comes out quick and really thoughtful, attentive service. The employees are the best. Always leave here with a clean plate and special thanks to this place for always being so accommodating to kids. It keeps us coming back.

Our new favorite brunch spot! This is a place where the food is made with love - big portions of tasty food with the kindest people. I get the Latin Benedict and the plantains taste soooooo good:)

Amazing spot for both breakfast and lunch! The food is absolutely delicious, with a big menu full of great options. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was outstanding—quick, friendly, and professional. Edgar was our server and truly made the experience perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

Chicago Restaurant, Janik's Cafe with owner, Felippa Janik and her husband Wayne, is a true embodiment of the American dream, where two cultures blend in perfect harmony, as they are from Italy and Venezuela. They beautifully integrate their past within their menu, creating a culinary experience that will leave you inspired. Moe had the best steak and eggs and I had a real treat, a fresh toasty waffle with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, a truly uplifting experience. They are opening for dinner Thursday through Saturday starting in May, a testament to their perseverance and dedication. Heading back to San Antonio tomorrow, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for the next leg of our journey. We will head to Charleston, South Carolina on the 5th with our friends, eager to explore new culinary delights and share more restaurant reviews to come.

Spacious, great atmosphere. Bright and colorful, especially on a sunny spring day. The staff was super attentive and the owner was our server - she was so warm and welcoming and gave great recommendations. Definitely would return. The chilaquiles were incredible.

Janiks Cafe is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Felippa is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. The chicken lime soup is so tasty. Must come back. 10/10.
