"We’ve long been admirers of Janssen Artspace, which closed its doors in 2010 after years of great exhibitions and events. Now, nearly a decade after its first opening party, artist and owner Steven Janssen brought the space back to downtown Palm Springs permanently. Twice a month, the gallery hosts a drawing workshop where participants have the opportunity to draw a nude model while getting feedback from Janssen as they work. During the day, you’ll find Janssen’s own work on display in the light-filled, open environment (as well as many other artists to come). "

The best art gallery! The art here really captures the essence and vibrance of Palm Springs. My Partner and I purchased the most beautiful painting by artist Ron Scharfe which has added so much beauty to our home. The whole experience was wonderful and I highly recommend coming here!

I love this gallery! I have been to a few opening night shows and the selection of artist is wide ranging and perfectly suited to the Palm Springs Vibe. The gallery owner (Steven Janssen) was really friendly and knew a lot about the art and the background of the artist. He happens to also be an artist and features some of his own work at the gallery. What I really like about the gallery is that there is a new show every month or so but also, there is a backroom gallery that has a great selection of art with a wide range of pricing. You can basically find great pieces at whatever budget you might have. I have purchased a few paintings and just recently a great sculpture. Definitely worth dropping by if you find yourself in PS!

Beautiful space with regularly rotating art. The gallery is centrally located. The owner has a great eye and is very thoughtful with the artists he works with. The pricing varies from artist to artist but is accessible and definitely worth stopping in every so often if you're looking for a piece of art or just enjoy looking at beautiful art. The openings are also great as you get to meet the artists and mingle with fellow art lovers.
