Amazing beautiful food. The waiter recommend us the specials of the days and we went for it. The cooking techniques and the products they use are pure quality. We had some raviolis stuffed with prawn and they made me cry almost. Food porn! The location is nice also, in front of the Duomo. Small place, great service. Grazie

This was the highlight of Napoli for me. After finding the city overwhelming as a young girl on my own, it was nice to come down the road from where I was staying and have a nice dinner, staff were very nice, owner seemed very nice aswell and liked to watch things run smoothly, and the food was fantastic. I hope to come again one day.

The food here is incredible. I had the spaghetti with pistacchio pesto and tuna and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. One of the waitresses was so kind and patient helping me to understand the specials in Italian because she knew I was trying to learn the language. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Napoli. I was going to take a photo of the food for a review but it was so delicious that I ate it before I remembered.

Excellent dining experience. This was the best place we ate during our 16 days all around Italy. Save some room for the desserts too.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. A hidden gem. The food was traditional and rich with flavours. Excellent wine too. Highly recommend and will definitely be back on my next visit to Naples. Go early to get a table !

Quite a hidden gem! This little restaurant offers great food, a unique atmosphere and also sells some high quality products. The charcuterie board was good but not the highlight of the meal, while the pasta was absolutely delicious. We didn’t have space left for dessert, but noticed they were sourced from a pastry shop we tried and which is excellent too. Overall a great place to eat if you want a break from Neapolitan pizza

Found it with Micheline app - but waiters dont allow us to enter with kids (7,5,2) Reason reservations in empty restaurant ??? Or just dont want to have kids inside Added as reaction to the restaurant: (first waiter asked second to come and only after looking to us he said - we are full - no checking in reservation system or anything like this). About reservations: website redirection from micheline app is not working. On google search - only tripadvisor/ instagram and other accounts. Only option seems sending post pigeons??? I am sorry for evaluating food - this was my mistake. Want to have better service? Close by: Cala La Pasta or Palazzo Petrucci… a bit further 50kalo or Veritas All of above mentioned - dont have any problem with kids

Sharing appetizer board for 2 was very well balanced with meat and cheese which is worth a visit on it's own. The mains of which we both had pasta were without a doubt some of the best pasta dishes we have ever had. Cannot recommend highly enough. The wait staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes with attentive service. Will be visiting again if we return.

We tried Januarius on the basis of previous enthusiastic reviews, and can totally confirm them. Subtle, delicious, original food. Friendly service at a moderate pace. Nice dining music at an appropriate volume. I didn't love the wine I invited them to choose for me, and the glass was possibly a bit skimpy, but those are the only things I can think of that weren't perfect. We had the Januarius desert, and it was unusual and delightful. Finally, the price of the meal was entirely reasonable. So, make a beeline to Januarius! And make reservations because the place is small and it won't be long before crowds start showing up.

Januarius is an intimate dining space serving delicious local dishes. We had two forms of pasta dishes with intensely flavored tomato based sauces, but each was different. The service was attentive and intelligent, making excellent recommendations for food and wine. A perfect spot for a quiet, delicious, authentic meal! We highly recommend this place!

I went to this restaurant, which is across the street from Duomo di Napoli, from a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint! The space inside is very nice, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the food was divine! We ordered the monkfish meatballs (a special) And the Genoese meat stew. Both incredibly delicious. For dessert, we had the Januarius, as recommended to us - goodness- that was such an experience for the taste buds. I highly recommend this gem of a place!

As a New Yorker I didn't think it was possible to try a pasta dish prepared completely different than anything I've ever had before. Their Signature dish is a Pasta Genovese. It's has no tomato base, and the sauce is made from the sweetest of onions and stewed with the finest of beef. Holy experience!! As the waitress explained to me it was originally a "poor man's" pasta. Similarly Lobster used to be a poor man's food. If you want to be absolutely wowed by a new dish this is a must. The owner/chef was extremely passionate and made sure to personally sprinkle just the right amount of cheese on the dish table side. I can't imagine anyone giving this less than 5 stars having had this dish.

Best sit down meal we had in Naples! It was not too expensive. We ordered the beef ragu and the spaghetti with tomato sauce. The beef melted in your mouth and was absolutely incredible. We finished our meal with two deserts that I don't think are made in house but none the less were AMAZING. They also offered us complementary limoncello at the end of our meal. Would recommend

The most wonderful staff, delicious pasta, fish, dessert and wine! Prices are very reasonable. Great location across from the church. Would go back anytime!
