"Come for the funnel cake doughnuts and stay for the fresh fruit toppings and marvelous glaze at this longstanding North Dallas doughnut destination. Don’t skip the kolaches at Jarams, which are as delectable as all the sweet stuff." - Courtney E. Smith

Google
Very friendly staff and delish food. I have ordered them from Post mates, door dash, and I have been in the store - all of it has been good service. I also can't resist their donuts and pastries.

Megan

Google
Great place to grab gourmet donuts. Friendly and quick service. Cool shop!

Google
I have visited this location a handful of times now. Donuts are always fresh, not too sweet, creamy for those of you that like the creaminess of certain donuts. If you do not come early you will not have much of a selection. Early as in 7:30 AM early. We have stopped by at 11 AM and most donuts were gone even though store is open until 1 PM which is why Im leaving 4 stars on my review. I wish they would make an extra batch for those of us who come in just a bit later. Otherwise I do recommend this location.

Lulu

Google
Love the selection of donuts 🤤 I always get the s'mores an bacon donut. I really recommend u give them a shot . They have meet my expectations . Funnel cake donut 😋 🤘👌 .

Google
This is one of the best donut places in Dallas and I'll scream it from the rooftops until everyone tries it.The donuts are always fresh, the presentation is top notch, and price is great for the value. I've never gotten a bad order. Personaly I would recommend the creme brulee donut. It's got a amazing, crisp glaze and the filling is delicious.

Pau Pow

Google
I came across these donuts on Uber Eats. Amazing! I ordered half dozen of the assorted donuts. Bacon delicious, strawberries and cream love it! Mixed berries and cream cheese is all right. I surprisingly didnt like the smores one

Google
I’ve never stepped into Jarams, but my husband is my total enabler and that thrills me to death! He knows I love glazed donuts and Boston cream donuts and, like this morning, I get them as a surprise for breakfast. He’s discovered Jarams sausage rolls, and, boy, are those a nice warm tasty breakfast treat. My husband likes the old-fashions and apple fritters.

Kyle Adam

Google
Gourmet donuts done properly! I’ve been coming here for years and they are consistent and have friendly, fast service. This is the new location and quality control is the same as the original. Standouts for me are always the Cronuts and Creme Brulee donut. The cronuts are so buttery and flaky, with a variety of toppings. The creme brulee has a crisp shell and cream on the inside of a yeast donut. The sausage rolls are also bomb, the dough is fresh, a little sweet and buttery. This can be a little pricier for an everyday donut spot, but it is absolute the spot for gourmet donuts. I highly recommend and will continue coming here.

Yelp
Jarams Donuts is a cool little donut shop in Lakewood with tasty gourmet donuts and friendly service!

Quin B.

Yelp
Jarams has a mix of contemporary and traditional donuts with more donuts being traditional. Many reviews sited the cream brulee as a fav. There is no dedicated parking area, so I ended up parking across the street at Whole Foods and walking over. Despite the numerous good reviews, I have to admit I didn't like these donuts. I was not fond of the glaze or the dough flavor and lack of slight sweetness. The cream brulee had a burnt bitter taste to it that was not wonderful. The glazed, cake, and buttermilk donuts were below average. I've had great donuts in the Dallas area and there would be no need for me to return here.

Gabriella S.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast! Favorite kolaches I have tried in the 6 years I've lived in Dallas

Fatima C.

Yelp
Such a little cute local donut shop in the neighborhood! I ended up stopping by and wasn't really hungry so I got a cinnamon cruller donut. This shop offers kolaches, donuts, crullers, donut holes and specialty donuts. I'll definitely be back to try something (not so basic) haha and earlier as I'm sure there's so much other flavors that weren't pictured.

Valerie R.

Yelp
Literally one of my favorite places to get donuts and the service is plus! Donuts are definitely a 10/10

Rich S.

Yelp
Came out of donut retirement (9 1/2-10 years) to try Cronuts - a cross between a croissant and donut. It's 2-layered, baked together. Discovered via Simpsons episode! Glazed: was best, but wasn't special. Similar to grocery store in taste. PB&J: Too much PB, imo (although not visually); wrong jelly , imo (couldn't really tell: it was bright red, so strawberry or cherry; would've been better with grape or raspberry!) Custard: not the best tasting custard; wasn't bad, but would've been better on the INSIDE. Just my 2¢... Packaging can be rethought, as icing is removed from top in to-go containers. Maybe wax paper? $12 for these 3 artisan doughnuts; I'd say good pricing! Parking is basically next door at the Bank, or 7-11. Could definitely return! (Hours: 6am - 12 noon)

Danny K.

Yelp
Super cute small business in Lakewood with a delicious variety of fresh donuts! They also do special decorations and croissonuts!

Elaine M.

Yelp
Finally in the right place at the right time! I kept passing by this artisanal donut shop during closed hours! Today I finally was able to go in and get some delicious donuts! They are so beautiful! And different flavors.. I love berries so of course I got the one with all the berries atop! The donuts are soft, fluffy and hold their shape! The berries were super fresh and the frosting complimented the flavor (not too much and not too sweet!). They have cronuts too! I aim to get one of them next time!

Anastasiya T.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, worth the price, neatly packed. Absolutely will order again. They have big variety.

Sarahjoy M.

Yelp
Easy to find. Had no issues with parking. Not a huge selection, but enough to choose from. I got a banana cream donut, funnel cake with Nutella and strawberries donuts, smores donut, croissant with chocolate and strawberries donut, cream cheese with strawberries donut and a normal rainbow sprinkle. IMO the best part is that none of them are so sweet that you can't finish. They are the right amount of sweet. I will definitely return for more.

Steph J.

Yelp
I loveeee a cream filled donut. So on my first visit all I got was cream fills. Every donut was amazinggggg! But I think the light and flaky croissant donut was the best. I'll definitely be back.

Michael U.

Yelp
Known for Donut Messages and Funnel Donuts served out of a North Dallas Strip Mall since 2012 it was not until late-2018 that Jarams opened its doors in Lakewood, but ever since that time the small shop has been selling-out by noon thanks to quality Ingredients and creativity. Located at 2117 Abrams Road, limited parking a minor inconvenience at the former Dry Cleaner, it is upon entry that guests are greeted by brightly-lit cases featuring everything from "Average Joe" options to $6.48 specials. Painted purple and yellow, prices a guess until at the register, it was in exchange for $19.54 that five were taken elsewhere to eat, first bites of Blueberry Cake lighter than many despite plenty of Fruit flavor while the Old Fashioned described as a Chocolate Glazed Buttermilk Donut found an otherwise enjoyable cogwheel compromised by its artificially flavored topping. Getting creative with $3.99 Crème Brulee, a carefully piped Ring with crackling sugar and subtle bitterness, Funnel Cake Donuts fortunately justify premium pricing thanks to both size and consistency that is lighter than Cake but more dense than yeasted whether rolled in Spiced Sugar or sandwiching Honey-soaked Apples with sliced Almonds on top.

Yelp
One word... CRONUT !!! Yes they serve this elusive delicacy. The sinful Union of a croissant and a donut is truly a delight to eat. Their large kolache goes down easy too.

Bill R.

Yelp
First time here, about 9 AM. Supplies were pretty limited, guess we missed the rush (ha ha). Decided to try a French sausage (dog) croissant, a sugar "glaze", a small crème pastry, chocolate glaze, and a blueberry donut. Way more sugar than we normally consume, but we warmed it a bit when we got to the house and it was all very good. Chocolate glaze was not as fresh, light or tasty. Sausage croissant was the best. We didn't get any "fancy" donuts, although they didn't have much to choose from. I guess it's better to go earlier! Also, NO parking. We parked in the bank lot, which is probably OK since it doesn't take long to get donuts! Could probably park in the Whole Foods lot across the street, but then you have to walk across Abrams.

Semhar M.

Yelp
I'm not sure if it's me turning 30, quarantine life, or just desperate needs for comfort food but I have been on a donut shopping spree for a few weeks now! I never had a sugar tooth...until now. A small tear built up in the corner of my eye when I found out there was a donut spot that served CRONUTS (croissant donuts) a couple of miles from my place. The very first time I tried this magical invention was when I lived in Barcelona in 2015. I've missed the taste of the crispy layered donut ever since I moved back. I was never actively searching for cronut spots near me, but every now and then I'd remember how much I loved them. Jaram's is 5 stars!! They have an incredible selection of donuts, cronuts, cronut holes, croissant-kolaches (OMG), jalapeño filled kolaches, ice cream filled donuts and so much more. They even cater for weddings! What a cute concept. And what a sweet and patient woman that greeted us as soon as we walked in and explained each of the different flavors they offered. Wish I got her name. Listen to me, they even have a COOKIE BUTTER FUNNEL CAKE. I cannot. Great donut shop in Lakewood. Can't wait to take my friends here.

Tina N.

Yelp
Parking is a bit difficult to find, but the donuts are worth it. Fresh and unique donuts that are worth going out of the way to find.

Echo L.

Yelp
You don't want to miss it if you drive pass. The shop might not look fancy from outside. Or even the donuts in the cabinet are not as appealing as some other stores. The taste of those donuts are definitely top notch! I love the croissant donuts, very fluffy. The strawberry Nutella tastes amazing as well. It's not pricey at all for such great food. I would 100% stop by again if I'm around that region

Rebecka Z.

Yelp
I've had a long-standing love affair with Jaram's Donuts for quite some time now. I had just moved to an apartment in North Dallas when I discovered that location and quickly fell in love with their strawberry, cream cheese donut. The sweet, tartness of the sliced, ripe strawberries against the richness of the lightly sweetened, cream cheese a top the fluffy, perfect donut set me upon cloud nine. When we move to East Dallas I was thrilled to discover that they had open a location in Lakewood and so the love affair continues whenever I want to indulge in carbs!!

Cat N.

Yelp
Scrolling through their reviews and seriously saw this Greg guy gave them a bad review because he disagrees with their napkins. That is the most ridiculous crap ever. Also the reason why he gives Yelp a bad name. The entitlement is showing at the speed of 100MPH I've been a long time fan since their location on Preston. I'm happy to see they opened one near my moms place. I grew up just on the other side of white rock. My mom is still around but I'm not. I come by when I come home to visit my mom. I love their creme brulee. The bavarian cream inside with torched sugar on top so it has that crunch. It will be delightful to eat. I can usually eat two by myself.

Sumbel A.

Yelp
Walked in not knowing what to expect, loved the selection and the creativity of the donuts! Super sweet owners, definitely want to support mom and pop shops like this! They donuts were just so pretty, and everyone at work really enjoyed them!

Sheedeh R.

Yelp
Our favorite donuts! When we visit Dallas, we love kolaches and the donuts are incredible.

Barbara P.

Yelp
the croissant donuts are amazing. a little disappointed that they have shrunk considerably considering the $5.00 price tag.

Ray F.

Yelp
Great location! I've been watching this new establishment for weeks and dieting to make room to try all they have! Very visible, easy to find, parking in front and more parking in the nearby bank parking lot. The closest artisan donut shop is on the other side of lake. Thus this should be a 5 star place, right? Gorgeous looking donuts in the display cases! But, no idea what they are. The extensive menu board is hard to see in small font on the side wall. At least young kids will love it as they look over the options. Customer service is painfully slow, not knowledgeable about the product and not friendly at all. Lots of extra and unneeded steps in the ordering process. There is a four dollar minimum with credit card purchases. The customer flow and store layout needs some work as customers mill about and are unsure where the line begins which adds to the confusion and impacts customer service. The drinks are on left. Orders are taken in the middle. The check out is on the right side. Lastly and most important to me is the taste. I took 7 different types home. Dense and near flavorless donuts. The meats and toppings were nothing special other than colorful. None of the ones I tried would be ones I'd want to try again. Even the glazed were nothing I'd bring to the office. I'll give it another try in a few weeks, but, very disappointed and extremely dissatisfied. They have a lot of work ahead.

Samantha T.

Yelp
I happened to be in the Lakewood area and spotted this shop. I looked them up online and found they have some unique items! I tried the Nutella & Strawberry Funnel donut and the Banana Nilla wafer Funnel donut. Beautiful to look at. Good flavor and a little messy! I also tried the pumpkin pie donut. Very cute. Nice filling. Not too sweet. I tried the chocolate croissant donut. Nice and flaky. These are expensive donuts. Nice to get some and impress someone!

Emily M.

Yelp
FINALLLLYYY!!!! I have been waiting forever to get to Jarams and try these beauties. Got there around 10am and they were pretty picked over but I was still able to get a great sampling of what they have to offer. I was most excited about the Cronut because it is one of their signatures so I ended up just trying a regular one without all the fancy toppings. Personally its too sweet for me but it is still tasty. Hands down my favorite was the Strawberry Nutella Funnel Cake donut. It wasn't overly sweet and had the tang of the fresh berries that melted so well with the nutella. This one is messy because of the powdered sugar on top so be careful with your impulse to eat it in the car trust me, it went everywhere. Now to the Kolache. This might be the best kolache I have ever tasted and ai have had my fair share. When I go back I will get more than one of these bad boys. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Sherene A.

Yelp
This place is stupidly good. Conveniently located across from Whole Foods, it will enable you to stock up on loads of organic produce before proceeding to cross the street and negate any of those good decisions. But if eating these donuts makes me bad....then I have zero desire to be good. I got a plain cronut and a raspberry jelly topped cronut. BOTH, were incredible. They have a slew of flavors from creme brûlée to bacon topped...to stuffed sausage kolaches. Give it a go!

Olivia C.

Yelp
Happy Friday!! There's nothing sweeter than the weekend, well except for these donuts Top: Cookie butter piped on top of a funnel cake base! Bottom: Classic blueberry cake donut Are you team "classic" or team "artisan"??

Michael V.

Yelp
After driving by who knows how many times and seeing the "Artisanal Donuts" sign, I finally decided last week to stop in and check them out. And this is where the problems started. Parking is non-existent. Granted that's not a knock on their business just their location, but it's worth noting. You've basically got your choice of "classic" donuts such as glazed or chocolate covered donuts, eclairs, and so on, as well as "artisan" donuts. While it might merely seem on first glance to be an oxymoron, it's confirmed when arriving. Maybe I'm not fancy or refined enough or perhaps my culinary palette isn't good enough to appreciate it, or perhaps I just don't get it, but deep down they're donuts. I get it, people like nice things. But over $4 for a single donut is just a bit steep for me, no matter how fancy. You can put fresh fruit slices and frosting on a donut, but it's still a donut. Cronuts are interesting, but 2014 was a long time ago. Overall their classic donuts are decent, but expensive. Their artisan donuts are decent, but even more expensive. As a former small business owner, I wish them the best, but it's just not for me again.

Dave G.

Yelp
Wow. Some of the best donuts I've eaten. A great local shop with regular style donuts, cronuts, funnel cake donuts, kolaches, cake donuts and more ! They are consistent in quality, don't skimp on toppings and are highly recommended. 5*! Support Local!!!

Justin J.

Yelp
The donuts here are amazing. They have regular donuts and fancy ones. Everyone is nice and quick with the orders. I had the jalapeno kolaches, creme brulee donut, and the assorted fruit cheesecake donut. Fantastic. I will be back when the doors open. Parking sucks but what you going to do lol.

Ashley R.

Yelp
Pros : clean, good selection, convenient checkout Cons: parking is complicated, prices are kind of high for some specialty donuts. Wasnt expecting to pay 6.48 for a donut. I guess I should have read the menu more closely.

Mark C.

Yelp
Love that they require masks still and they are in masks and gloves. The donuts are out of this world and creative. Dough is soft and not overly sweet. Great breakfast donuts with sausage egg and cheese. Love the rose champagne donut.

Megan P.

Yelp
Typically a big fan of Jarams. Yesterday around 11:30am we came in and the place was disgusting - there were gnats flying in the display case on the donuts. There was also a bucket in the front of the display case catching water from a dripping ceiling and the place smelt. There was only one employee in the front and the line had reached the door. A customer placed a large order to go which must have short handed the employees. On a Saturday morning, there should have been more assistance. No one from the back came to assist. Frustrated to say the least. Unfortunately, I found a new favorite donut shop at Lakeland / Ferguson Rd. They have amazing pigs in a blanket and fresh donuts without the hassle and bugs.

Greg A.

Yelp
So my customers wanted some. I showed up at 6:15 in the morning and they didn't have a single Cronut the only thing these people care about is what is convenient for them, awful, awful horrible service, the only reason I go there is when my customers beg me to otherwise stay away these people are jerks! They still refuse to bring in napkins for their customers cheap cheap cheap They're cronuts are great. I spend about $300.00 or $400 a month and now for over two months they refused to bring in napkins for their customers they put out those big paper towel rolls you use for bathrooms. If you are that cheap what else are you cheap on. I told the glet the owner know I refuse to come in again until they get regular napkins that I can give to my customers with their donuts. That's not too much to ask for. Disgusting the way they treat their customers

Jasmine C.

Yelp
Very spacious donut shop. My eyes gravitated toward the berry covered donut and it was yummy

Michelle L.

Yelp
Jaram's doughnuts are perfect. They are not over frosted or so sugary sweet that you'll get a cavity. I have an allergy and the person behind the counter was able to identify what I could safely eat. While I wouldn't consider this spot gourmet, I would consider it under stated luxury. Only bad thing, is it seems that there is always construction right in front of the shop, so parking is a little annoying

Tammy N.

Yelp
Finally K makes its way east! I've been a fan with the one on Preston and Campbell but ever since I graduated, I'm never on that side of town. Are there cronuts worth the drive? I would say yes but I'm lazy. That's why I'm extremely happy that they opened their new location here. It is located right off of Abrams and so parking may be difficulty. It's an old shop and I believe they just took over. I went after a run and nearly most of the donuts were gone but they were still bringing fresh donuts out. I did mention cronuts earlier aka croissant and donut had a baby. There are different flavors and unfortunately the one I was hoping they would have wasn't there but I did get the Nutella strawberry one. I also got a few filled donuts and a blueberry. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the cronuts. Super fluffy and just delicious. Worth the extra money. Their donuts are just as good too but if you made it to Jaram's without having a cronut, that's definitely on you.

Gisselle L.

Yelp
I finally visited Jarams Donuts and it didn't disappoint. The donuts and donut holes were fresh and delicious, great quality. Overall recommend checking them out. I appreciate the safety guardrails they've put in place because of COVID. Takeout only

R C.

Yelp
First time coming here being meaning to for awhile. Was a great experience. And the doughnuts and sausage pockets r great. Loved the champagne donut & strawberry cronut.

Bobby C.

Yelp
This place SLAPS. Strawberry cream cheese CRONUT?! BUSSIN!! Cake batter funnel cake donuts are also amazing and the jalapeño cheese kolaches were on point. Jarams is significantly better than your average donut shop experience.

Kayla L.

Yelp
I just had the maple donut but it was really good! The kolaches were great! I liked the regular kolache best but the person I was with liked the croissant kolache better. I don't think you can go wrong with anything here!

Andy P.

Yelp
My favorite place for donuts. The staff are super friendly and the gourmet donuts are super delicious. They are always experimenting new donuts flavor depends on the season so check them out often to find unique flavors. Can't recommend enough. A must try when you're in the area.

Stefanie Z.

Yelp
My favorite donuts in the Lakewood area! Gets busy in the mornings, but you can order ahead

Lovelife D.

Yelp
Really good, creative and simple donuts. We have been 3x so far since the pandemic. Quite on the expensive side, for the nicer donuts especially (like the price of breakfast or lunch at a cafe for one donut). So be careful and ask for prices before you buy if that matters to you. Customer service is good. Simple looking place inside. We've tried several of the kolaches with jalapeño, open faced and regular, the croissant kolaches. We have tried simple donut holes in all flavors, the banana pudding, cookie butter, Nutella strawberry, and the bacon maple fancy donuts and they were all pretty divine! The cookie butter has peanut butter in it so watch that if you are allergic to peanuts, like I am. They should warn folks on that since it's not mentioned in the title of the donut. I'm glad they still require customers to wear masks and the staff wear masks too. I saw hand sanitizer available. I'm hoping the staff wear gloves and wipe and sanitize between customers, social distance customers, but I don't recall. I'll definitely keep going, but watch my $ tally a little more closely in the future. They should offer a get a free donut after you buy a certain $ amount or free funnel donut after buying so many of the fancy donuts!

Luis S.

Yelp
Having being meaning to visit for so long - I chose more donuts then two people should eat in one day. They had a superb variety of artisan donuts. I look forward to making my way across the entire menu. The metroplex could use a few more locations. I will be back.

Kylie M.

Yelp
The creme brûlée donut is possibly the best thing I've ever eaten. Creative flavors and every single one we got was delicious!

Lpol O.

Yelp
I want to like this place. So I gave it another chance on Donut Friday. The first time we visited, I ordered a staple donut-chocolate old fashion. (I am a firm believer when visiting a new place, order something that is a staple for that restaurant-spaghetti/hamburger/tacos.. If they can do the staples well, the rest should be as good or better). Well, what I go was a plain old fashion. I had to go back in and get the right one. It was just okay. It was moist and the chocolate was a true chocolate flavor, but nothing that made me crave a donut by this maker. I went today and all I can say is gross. Not only was the old fashion chocolate misshaped, it was half the size of what a donut should be. it was over cook, tasted like old oil and is hard. It cost $1.49. This one is My Donut Friday is ruined. Still in search for an equal replacement for Top Pot Donuts.

Ri S.

Yelp
I arrived at Jarams on a Friday morning at around 7:00 am and there was only one person in line in front of me. The donuts looked amazing so I had difficulty choosing the ones I wanted. I decided on the cronuts and they were the fluffiest most flavorful cronuts I have ever had in my life. Try the cronuts, you will definitely not be disappointed. I also got the gummy bear donut for my little sister and she loved it!

Nadia R.

Yelp
Came specifically for the croissant donut, and it did not disappoint! It was huge, and well layered and an excellent rendition of a croissant donut. I also ordered the blueberry donut, and it's the best I've had so far- it was unlike any other cake/original style donut I've had, it had a chewier texture, and was not a dry at all, and good natural blueberry taste. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Morgan P.

Yelp
The presentation of these donuts is amazing and the flavor is top notch. I ordered through Postmates and the donuts arrived in one piece! The only downfall is the price but they are artisan donuts so it makes sense.
