The service was exceptional. The waitresses were welcoming, attentive, and thorough, guiding us with helpful recommendations and ensuring we felt comfortable throughout the evening.
While the presentation of the dishes was outstanding, the flavors didn’t fully live up to the expectations. The shrimp dishes, in particular, had an unpleasantly fishy taste, and while the green curry was decent, it wasn’t extraordinary.
However, the desserts were the true stars of the night. The mango sticky rice was next level—the best I’ve had in Thailand. The Phattalung Sago with chocolate and coconut ice cream was so delicious I didn’t want it to end. I would have happily ordered a second one, but unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed.
Jaras is worth a visit for its stunning ambiance and impeccable service, but the main dishes left room for improvement. That said, the desserts alone might just tempt me to return.
