Jardín Botánico de Medellín

Loved it here. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the air and the lush greenery. They have a great variety of plants that they also sell. They have small guided tour availability throughout the day or you czn explore on yourself. They also have a restaurant, library, free wifi and restrooms available. Entry is free but you do have to have some form of identification on you. The place is easy to reach by taxi.

Very recommendable. Beautifully designed Botanic Garden with a pound where you can observe turtles and iguanas. The thoughtful layout facilitates a deeply enjoyable learning experience. I tried one of the restaurants inside the park, Del Bosque. The food was good, but the drink was outstanding. Indeed, one of the best strawberry daiquiris I’ve ever tasted.

The garden has a good amount of space and areas to walk around. There isn't much interesting flowers but did spot a could of parrots and butterflies. There is also a small library to work from here, a restaurant, and a garden store to buy plants and garden materials. All in all it was OK but other botanical gardens I've visited have greenhouses or other interesting things. Here was sort of meh.

Medellin is one huge garden. However, if you enjoy walking among plants and flowers, then this is a must visit. The entrance is free. You must show your ID to get in. Take a lunch and sit under a tree and breathe in the surroundings. The pond has lots of fish and turtles. On Sundays they offer free yoga classes under the canopy.

We visited today to see the Flower Festival exhibit, and it was amazing! The grounds were beautiful, well maintained, and offered plenty of shady spots to relax and enjoy nature. The flower displays were absolutely stunning, bursting with color and creativity. In addition to the blooms, there were food vendors, craft stalls, and jewelry stands to explore, adding to the festive atmosphere. It was a bit crowded, but overall it was a wonderful experience and well worth the visit.

Amazing place! Beautiful gardens, wildlife and lovely staff! Free entry too. They need a donation box, we wanted to leave more.

Worth the visit, especially if you enjoy walking in nature. So peaceful and beautiful. Also, free entry!

I had a wonderful time visiting the botanical garden in Medellín. It’s free to enter, but you have to bring your ID. For international tourist that means just bringing a copy of your passport. I went twice during my month stay here. It’s really lovely and it feels like a safe place just to walk around by myself and take pictures of plants.
