"Back from the rock of Monaco, Benoît Witz has hung his hat in a pretty estate in Provence. In the shade of olive groves and released from gastronomic codes, he crafts 100% authentic dishes in a style that he himself joyfully describes as “grandma’s country cooking”! Garden-fresh beefsteak tomatoes, fish of the day with summer veggies, melt-in-the-mouth chocolate cake. Scrumptious and generous – yummy!" - Michelin Inspector

This could be a great place if the waitresses knew a word of English and didn't bring you a bowl of plain pasta for a child for 50€ this is not a menu - this is a bowl of plain pasta and a separate tomato sauce. No one brings you a menu where you can see the prices - which I think is a mistake. Thank you for not being able to find even one birthday candle after my wife asked you a day in advance and at this fantastic lunch again. I don't understand how Michelin star service - doesn't come to refill wine or water. If you want to go eat delicious food in a canteen where just some shocked people bring you plates that they can't explain This is the place, it's a shame for the delicious food

We have visited Cotignac 3 years running and have had the pleasure to eat at Jardin Secret. It was a real delight. The food was delicious, fresh, well balanced, greatly presented and served in generous portions. Ambience was incredible, sitting outside under the olive trees and grape vines. The weather was very hot 39c, but you can't blame the restaurant for that and they did their best with fans at nearly every outside table! The staff were perfect, polite, accommodating and non-intrusive and could not have been any more helpful. I would strongly recommended and hopefully will visit again next year when we are in Provence.

So great we visited twice during our stay in Provence! The outdoor seating was by far the best. The waiter was kind and attentive, plus allowed for our attempts to speak and order in French. His English was great as well. I enjoyed seeing the chef and team work in the kitchen and could’ve eaten there every night if allowed.

Had the pleasure to eat at the Jardin Secret recently and was delighted with greatly food. Food was fresh, well balanced, greatly presented and served in generous portions. Ambience was impeccable: Sitting outside, under the olive trees and grape vines, with a gentle, non pretentious soundtrack while the fresh Summer breeze blows was a bliss. Service was perfect: polite, accommodating and non-intrusive. Strongly recommended.

A true hidden gem set in the beautiful village of Cotignac. The restaurant itself is set in a beautiful hidden garden. We were treated so well by all the staff, all very welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel at home (shout out to our waiter Valentin). The food was incredible, we turned up on shellfish Monday and were treated to some amazing lobster pasta, on top of way too many other good foods to mention. So many fun little touches too, homemade mango marshmallows, a rosé and grapefruit ice slush drink to start, amazing. Highly recommended!

Very nice location, with a very nice entry! A beautiful view of garden, vineyard, bee hive, chicken, fontaine…the restaurant is at the back of a nice provencal house. The menu was nice with kitchen garden product. The veggies were perfectly cooked, we loved the zucchini flower! Service was nice, friendly and good english but as the kitchen, it could be a little bit faster. We regret there was only one menu, but we understand the chef decision. Our only concern was the heat, way too hot for lunch time, some fan / cooler air system would have been welcome. In general it was a very positive experience, as it’s their first season opening (and covid time). I am very happy to see such a authentic place / orignal concept running by energetic passionated people, it’s good thing for Cotignac, and hopefully would be a long sucess! We will come back at night for dinner and drinks!
