Jarry Smoked Meat

Fantastic service and fantastic food. We got the smoked meat sandwich, the smoked meat and spaghetti with meat sauce, the smoked meat poutine, warm bread, and the strawberry cheesecake to finish off. I can’t believe I‘ve been in the Montreal area for years, and this was my first time coming! I drove an hour to get here, and I would gladly do it again. Seriously, incredible. Big thanks to Alex, Victor, and Claire for warm welcome.

We stopped here as we passed through on our way back to Ontario… this place was amazing. We got the deluxe sub and smoked meat sandwich, both with poutine. The best poutine we have ever had!! Then we got a strawberry cheesecake. Everything was amazing from service to food to ambient and pricing. Would 100% recommend stopping here!

It’s just a regular diner. The smoked meat is nothing to write home about. I’v had much better in Montreal. The service is good and welcoming

I have been coming here ever since I lived in Montreal almost 30 years ago. I come here everytime I come back to Montreal. Still great food and generous portions. A Montreal must!

Have been going to Jarry Smoked Meat since I was a young girl in the 2000s, and my parents have been going since the 1980s! Jarry Smoked Meat has always been a classic for a wonderful smoked meat sandwich! I had a pizzaghetti, which I used to eat when I was younger and it 100% brought back nostalgia. The servers at the restaurant are super nice and welcoming. The manager opened the door for us and greeted us and also said goodbye and thanked us for coming. They are genuine, as they always been! The strawberry cheese cake is HUGE and is homemade. Loved it.

Amazing smoked meat sandwich, went there for the first time last night, people at the counter were super nice, asked for fat smoked meat plate and it was soo good! Melt in your mouth! They also had Cott black cherry which is really rare. Definitely in the top places!

I was looking to eat in a different restaurant in this area and I come across this spot while searching a place to eat with my husband and my father-in-law the other day and we did NOT regret it ! We enjoy the customer service, the food was delicious and everything was good! We will come back for sure 🫶 Our waitress that day was fantastic and really love the vibe in there 🥰

I've been here before and the smoked meat sandwich was awesome. I was a bit disappointed this time. It was still good, just not great. Super friendly staff, big, open seating area.

The food was 10/10!! This is def a hidden gem in my opinion and makes the other smoked meat places seem very over-rated. I will definitely be coming here every time I'm in Montreal to support this local diner! The service was great and our server was very sweet and efficient! The ambiance of the restaurant was giving old diner vibes was very cute and also very clean! Would highly recommend.

This might the best Ruben I've had. You can really taste the Smokey meat. The server was really nice luckily when we got there it wasn't busy soon as we walked in we were seated. The restaurant gave old diner feel

Ce restaurant qui existe depuis des décennies est spécialiste des sandwich a la viande fumée. il peut competitionner avec n'importe lequel des restos du genre a montreal. le viande fumée dans mon sandwich géant était généreuse et délicieuse comme je mangeait dans les autres restaurants en 80. Quoi de mieux qu'un cherry coke avec ce repas. L'atmosphere est celui d'u snack bar comme on aime. Le service fut fait par une gentille et efficace serveuse d'expérience Pour dessert il y a un fameux gateau au fromage mais nous étions incapable d'en commander un sans devoir faire appel a une ambulance.

We don't need to say more than :"Excellent smoked meat 24/7" but we will anyway. Amazingly prepared, perfectly seasoned and cooked, juicy meat on super fresh bread in great portions make @jarry_smoked_meat a definite contender for the best in town. The poutines and sides are also delicious enough to practise some menu exploration on many more visits.

This place is a staple for all the locals. The place everyone would go to after a night at the club or to have a late night snack. This was the place to get delicious old fashion smoke meat and cheesecake!!! I hadn't been here in a long while, and though I am glad they spruced up the place a little, like everything these days, Man, the prices have gone up! But, I know everyone is trying to recover their loses from the pandemic and have to live with it. I ordered the regular poutine. Though the smoke meat is amazing, my Achilles heal is poutine and theres is just "chef's kiss" the fries are crispy, the cheese isn't even squeaky but shredded and melty, and the gravy!!! The gravy is rich and salty and perfect! I recommend! My husband got the Jarry poutine and that is topped with a mound of chopped smoked meat.
