Jaslin Hotel

Great hotel located in Chinatown. The room was clean, and the bathroom was nice. I forgot to take pictures. My room had shower, no tub, and a mini fridge, which was not mentioned on any of the websites, so this was a very pleasant surprise for me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Joe was super nice and helpful. I needed to use the outside ATM one night, and he waited and watched at the door until I came back in. They are very helpful and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. It's not terribly expensive and worth the price. I also had a view of the Chicago skyline from my room. Nice added touch!!! Public Parking lot is a block away for $16/ night. The hotel does not validate, but some of the surrounding business will validate. The red line is also at the back end of the parking lot. Easy access. Felt safe walking back to the hotel at night. Will definitely visit again.

Sweet little gem of a hotel nestled in a cool part of Chinatown. Train station is three blocks away and lots of good food around. The hotel is basic in accommodation but very charming and clean if you just need a room. Big Tv, great view of the city, nice bathrooms, etc. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well. Would stay again!

While in town for a concert, My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at the Jaslin Hotel. The staff could not of been nicer and made the whole trip run as smooth as it always should be when you travel. The Hotel was beautiful, hip, and in a great location making all of Chinatown walkable. The staff not only were friendly, but went the extra mile when they allowed us to keep our bags there after checkout so that my friends and I could shop around Chinatown. We will definitely be back the next time we are Partying in Chicago!

The gentleman that checked us in was wonderful. He and the gal working with him were very approachable and very classy. They were extremely friendly and nice. He made sure we had a beautiful view of the city and our room was perfect for the night. It was clean and quiet. Shower is large. The room had a small refrigerator, A desk, closet to hang clothes in, hair dryer, and couple chairs. Room was standard size big enough that you are not cramped. Right in the heart of Chinatown.

This was a fantastic place to stay for a weekend in Chicago. The price was very reasonable compared to the overpriced downtown hotels, it's close to a ton of great Chinese food, and it's a few blocks from the CTA red line that goes right into downtown. The staff here were super accommodating with getting us the few things that we had forgotten to pack. There is no parking here, so you have to park down the street in the Chinatown lot, which runs $16 per day. Some of the local restaurants will validate your pass for reduced rates, but the Jaslin will not.

The guy with specs and curly long hair in morning shift is seriously rude and unprofessional to say the least. How can this hotel have this guy on the front desk? He was rude and misbehaved with us on multiple occasions, first when we called over phone from India. He disconnected calls over 6 times uttering nonsense all the while. He had the audacity to misbehave and be rude to all our reasonable requests when we checked in on 22nd June and then again when we were checking out on 26th June. Absolutely unbecoming behavior. An otherwise neat and clean hotel our first experience with this guy in US was an ugly one. One hopes the Hotel Management will take a serious note of this. Potential customers beware..this guy is sick and doesn't deserve to be in hospitality business. The worse thing is that you don't know whom to escalate complaints with.

Very nice hotel at a great price point. Stayed here over the weekend when I was visiting a friend. Convenient location, great views of Chinatown from the upper windows. Helpful staff gave great suggestions on places to eat or things to see. Clean rooms and very nice shower, will come again when I'm in town.

This review is for the terrible front desk guy. He is very unprofessional and no patience and still trying to give me more problems. He is really a mean and had a bad attitude. I guess you don't know that you are the first person that greet your guests. You sucks and you spoiled my trip. Neve come back. Not recommended.

I was in town attending a conference at McCormick Place. This hotel is exactly 1 mile from the convention center. Every morning I walked there, feeling totally safe. The hotel is located right in Chinatown. The rooms were smaller but clean and well put together. The staff are friendly. The hotel was quiet during my stay. Chinatown has a lot of great food! When coming back to Chicago the Jaslin will be my go-to place to stay. My only complaint would be the lack of housekeeping. I have no problem with not having my room serviced every day, but it would be nice to have enough coffee for my stay if they were not planning on coming in at all.

Bed bugs! Weird funky smell in the rooms. Stay away! poorly maintained hotel and now I need to deal with the consequences of might bringing the bad bugs home .

Affordable, friendly staff, great for our one night stay! If you can get a room facing the city, I highly recommend the view!

This hotel is right in the heart of Chinatown! This hotel wasn't my first choice, but the location is super convenient if you're looking to walk around Chinatown. My first choice were the more well known hotels(ime. Hampton or Marriot) but you would have to pay $50 a night to park. So considering everything, we opted for Jaslyn.The price is adequate, I would say it is cheaper than the larger named hotels. Although they don't have parking right outside, there is a parking lot about 1 block away(approximately 2-3 minute walk). The lobby was decorated quite nicely, a more modern approach by including a fireplace. It seemed like one of the newer hotels in the area. The rooms were actually smaller than I expected for two queen beds. It looked much larger in the pictures, but its quite tiny when you get there in person. Its not a beautiful hotel room but you get what you paid for. On the otherhand, the bathroom in your room was nice. I loved the white aesthetics and how the standing shower was built. Definitely looked a lot better than the hotel room LOL. Overall, I would probably stay here again if the Airbnb's were all booked up like last time.

Stayed 4 nights here, Thursday check in with a check out on Monday. Even though we arrived a couple hours early, the room was ready and as far as I know no additional charge. So A+. So let's just get this out of the way. The lobby is pretty modern but the hotel itself is very basic. TV, bed, very basic coffee maker. There is a mini-fridge but mine was set up as a freezer...which it did as it froze my two drinks solid. Fun times. Water is hot and water pressure is good. Location is very convenient. There is a bus stop right at the corner and the Red Line is a 5 minute walk away, with other lines within a 10-15 minute walk. If you are bringing a car, there is a parking lot near the Red Line. That said the one annoying thing about this hotel is the penny pinching. I went down and asked for an extra bar of soap. They give you one in the room and it is really small. And I was asked "what for?" as if I had just asked for a $20 discount. After some back and forth, I finally got one. They also only give you two pillows total. Again, penny pinching. There is no daily housekeeping, but they did clean the room the night before we checked out. Which seems strange for a hotel set on delivering a very basic, no frills experience and will just have to clean it again 24 hours later. Don't get me wrong, you're paying less than $300 a night in a hotel that isn't too far away from the action so it is a deal. But going into this, you should know there's some annoyances you'll have to put up with for that price.

Not much to complain about. The rooms definitely are small, like everyone has said, and the lobby is more modern the rest of the hotel. The shower could use a good scrub (the grout is not super clean). Safe location, parking down a few blocks. The hotel was also very quiet which was nice. Would stay again.

If you want to feel welcomed (all customers) and treated as equal( Chinese) this is not your place. With the same price you can get any decent hotels around town. The service doesn't exist, and I can only conclude that it's the result of poor management and lack of staff education. 1. Service So they promo that they can serve you in multi language. Heard them speak Chinese so when we tried to check-in we spoke to her in Chinese, the girl completely ignored us and was extremely rude. Just repeated "the name, the name, the name." I assume you don't need to be polite or nice to the customers if you work in Jaslin Hotel, since she didn't even bother to use the magical words like please or thank you. Thank god we've been studying, working and living in the U. S over a decade otherwise there was no way for this Chinese speaking girl to check us in that day. I guess you must hide your Chinese identity otherwise you will get racially discriminated. Well, I am no stranger to mean words or Asian hate but this is the first time from another Chinese. Stunned and disgusted. 2. Rooms Small, that's it, better than motels full of crackheads though. Depends on how much you are paying for this tiny room, if you got yourself a good deal and pay less, this is not bad. If not, might wanna consider taking your business somewhere else. 3. Location Great location if you are there for some good Chinese food, literally just a block away. It's close to the subway and only 5,6 stops away from downtown, so for those sightseeing tourists it 's somewhat convenient too. 2023年了，居然还有一些会说几句英文就觉得自己高同胞一等的人，我真心无语了。我不知道您接受了怎样的教育但一般有教养的人都是友善且相互尊重的。看人低的只有狗眼。 스태프들 예의는 커녕 싸가지도 없습니다. 가격에 비해 방은 작고 로비에 들낭날낭 할때 마다 그 똥 씹은 표정하고 앉아 있는 프런트 데스크 보려니 밥 맛까지 떨어질 정도예요. I speak multi languages too, but it's a shame I can only be served unless I speak English.

Absolutely terrible! 4 star hotel and our view was a dead rat, sheets had what looked like bodily fluids, broken bed frame, and an odd scent from the closet. Customer Service was horrendous and weren't communicating and understanding correctly.

Not a bad hotel! My girlfriend was the one who did most of the planning on this trip so my knowledge of the Jaslin Hotel didn't even start until we stepped foot inside. Smaller hotel, nestled in Chinatown, but looks updated, clean and with an accommodating staff and with very affordable rates. In our hotel room were all the standards...tv, mini-fridge, safe, coffee maker, but sadly no microwave! Again, Jaslin is located in Chinatown, so if you like Chinese dining, you're literally a walk away from several restaurants. There's also a Starbucks next door if you need your coffee fix. The hotel provides no breakfast or dining services of its own i'm afraid. It also helps greatly that the hotel is just steps away from the Chinatown Cermak red line, which will get you going into the city in no time. So what did I not like here? My biggest gripe was the WiFi, which is free, but was often slow and 100% of the time made you sign into it every time your WiFi device was idle for a few minutes. Very annoying, but not the end of the world. There's also the matter of the microwave, or lack of one, but that became less of an issue than we thought. Customer service for us not only was accommodating, but also super nice, by allowing us to check in 3 hours early, and even holding our bags after check out so we could explore the city a bit more with our evening flight. Would I choose Jaslin Hotel again as my go to spot for Chicago? I wouldn't be opposed to staying here, especially if they moved to something with a more reliable WiFi situation. But we enjoyed our stay. May be worth a stop in for you

The hotel itself was not bad. The rooms were clean, as pictured and as expected. The reason I am giving this place 2 stars was the young woman at the front desk & the management. My boyfriend dropped $150 cash on the floor in the lobby. He later came down & questioned the girl at the front to see if she had seen it & if they could check the cameras to see if he dropped it inside. She said no she didn't see it. I also asked & she said no again. The next day the manager was there, my bf asked the manager & she checked the cameras for us. He DID INFACT drop it in the lobby. She said yes her employee picked it up & that the next morning she will return the money. Keep in mind they were not apologetic, or empathic at all about this. The next morning the girl did return the $150. They weren't at all apologizing about it & it did not seem like she was going to get any kind of discipline for her actions.They weren't honest about what happened. Disappointed but learned our lesson we will not be back. Others be warned. They have no integrity.

I really liked this hotel a lot! Check in was smooth and the folks at the front desk were very friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean, it looks just like the photos. We were honestly a pretty short walk or 10 min max uber ride from everything so the location was great as well. A great option for a great price!

The location is excellent, right in the middle of Chinatown there's a true plethora of excellent eating choices within a short walk. They no longer have the complimentary breakfast but why would you with so many Dim Sum choice around? Steps from the Red Line, and it's not that hard to find free parking within four blocks as long as you don't arrive on a Saturday night. Don't leave any valuables in the car though. The rooms are small but a very good deal for being in Chicago. You'll save not just in the room rates as compared to downtown or near North, but also in parking and transportation (take the CTA, it's not that hard to figure out). I will return for sure based on location and that this is such an economical choice. The service is acceptable. Not overly friendly or helpful, I was hoping the Chinese-American front desk fellow could give us some inside scoop on the overwhelming choices of Chinese restaurants around but instead he just sent us to the standard tourist spots with the longest waits. The round-eye woman who was the other front desk worker was much friendlier but even less helpful in terms of local insider information. I've found this is generally a problem in hotels everywhere, they don't seem to hire workers based on their knowledge of local interests. There aren't a lot of amenities, no bar or complimentary coffee or the other usual hotel perks. There was supposedly a workout room but I couldn't find it. Maybe I didn't try very hard though.

Location, staff and rooms are great. Had some special wishes as I was traveling with an infant, they were very accommodating. Had downtown view, see pictures. My first stay here, will come back!

This cute, boutique-style hotel was very cozy and a far better price than anything closer to the convention center. Right inside Chinatown and a short distance from a red line train station, it was the perfect location for easily getting to the convention center or elsewhere in Chicago. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The rooms are a tad smaller than your standard double hotel room, but not uncomfortably so. Check-in was simple and they were kind enough to hold our bags before check-in and after check out. It is also conveniently next door to a Starbucks and adjacent to some of the best Asian food you can get in Chicago!

A frustrating ordeal. From the booking to the check out - everything about this hotel was very poorly managed. We checked in on Saturday December 8th and out on the 9th. Booked a double room easy enough and arrived at the hotel. From the outside the hotel is beautiful but the location is terrible and can be dangerous. There are a lot of ----- unsavory individuals who roam the streets nearby so if you think you are going to take a quick walk to Walgreen's at night, forget it. Overall I do believe the room was priced okay - no continental breakfast, uncomfortable mattress and one pillow per bed. Asked for more pillows - denied. WiFi password didn't work - oh well (found out from another guest the lovely women I encountered upon checking in gave me the wrong password) Room was set to 99 degrees - asked to switch rooms instead of blasting the ac for an hour. - Denied. Hotel is full. How is it full when there's a multitude of rooms showing available on YOUR website. The 20- something year old white female employee who checked us in was smoking outside with whom I presumed to be her boyfriend and we waited 15mins to check in. I asked her for clarification regarding the deposit as the wording on the contract states that it is returned same day of check out. She assured me it would be. Annnnnnd it wasn't. I was charged the room rate plus an extra $100 that 5 days later I am still waiting to be returned to me after posting to my account. There's just too many places in the area to stay. Pick somewhere safer where you don't have to wait for a makeout sesh to end so you can check in.

Customer service is mixed. There are certain people that are pretty rude and will accuse you of being wrong when you're speaking with them on the phone or in person. Again. Not everyone is this way and it depends on who you get to speak with. The room are nice. The soap, view, and size of the room are great for the price. Location is extremely excellent. Quick walk to Starbucks bus and train stops. The bed was below average. Mattress was not firm enough. Overall I would have given a four star but the service 1/4 of the time made me feel like I insulted their parents or something. Very strange and awkward feeling and very disappointed as I tried to forget the first encounter but twice in our stay is too much. Very sad.

I would not stay in this hotel again. Part of me wants to give it a worse review, but I will admit it is clean and updated, and getting to downtown from here was pretty easy. I was here for work, and I ubered because I didn't want to try to figure out the train on a short trip. Positives: 1. Clean 2. Accessible to major attractions 3. Price Cons: 1. Unfriendly front desk staff 2. The door entering into the bathroom doesn't open all the way, but gets stuck on the sink. So you have to continually open and close the door while getting ready. It was infuriating. 3. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom goes out while you're in the shower. 4. The bed is uncomfortable. 5. There is zero information in the room. You aren't even provided a channel guide. I found that strange. Definitely would not stay here again, even for the price.

Meh. rooms are cozy (aka small) and a Starbucks next door and that's about it. My "skyline" view was a brick wall. Work payed for this so I couldn't complain but they did get $1100 out of my stay. If I had to pay, it wouldn't be worth more than $150 a night. I liked being close to Chinatown though. Funny story: the only gave me 2 towels for two guests. Well, I ran out. At 7am, I called the lobby and asked for more. The young man said housekeeping would be in at 10am. What? I politely asked again and he reiterated this. Wow. So I said, are you telling me I have to wait until 10 am to get an extra towel? I needed to go to a work event and I have to wait? I didn't realize I couldn't use more than 1 towel! The the guy then says he'll ask and hangs up. 5 minutes later, there's a knock on my door and someone shows up with 1 towel. Yep. "One" towel. Oh Lordy have mercy.

I stayed at this hotel at my most recent work trip to Chicago. The location is fantastic - you have everything you could possibly ask for right by you: the train, plenty of great places to eat (go to Chinatown Square!), a Walgreens, a Starbucks next door. This place is unique in that you have to insert your room card to use the elevator, and to turn on the lights in your room. Once you enter your room, you have to keep your card inserted into a slot by the door or the lights will go out after a while. This confused me at first. My room was right by the elevator, so I could hear the dings, but otherwise this was a clean, nice hotel at a good price. Front desk was nice.

I don't know why the rooms don't look as nice as the lobby. The lobby is very modern but the rooms have a 70's vibe and dirty vibe. I got a suite last weekend and the sofa bed looked so dirty it was horrible, to make it worse the mattress from the sofa bed was hard and didn't have no support. The two is for the costumer service which was amazing. They were so nice and Doing their job amazing. That's was the only good thing about the whole hotel experience, but those room are in serious need of a makeover.

I went in to get information on a room just to be completely ignored by this rude person at the service desk.

I'll make a quick list why I'll give Jaslin Hotel 5 stars -Hotel Price -Fairly near hotel, one and a half-year-old, clean hotel -Near downtown -Free street parking. Don't need to pay the ridiculous $65 a day parking for all the other hotels in downtown -Has a small gym -Has a computer for you use downstairs -Free Wifi, very reliable and fast enough to lets you watch youtube videos -Modern TV with all the DirectTV channels like HBO. So many movies and shows to choose from. -Free Breakfast

After a red eye flight from LA and arriving to Ohare, I decided why not head here for several nights since it's close to my family and also central to downtown. Well, bad idea. I realized reservations are just that, but with open rooms available you're losing business to tell me I can't check in. What a joke. Had I just stayed that night Until checkout, they still would've charged me a regular nights stay, so this place needs to rethink turning down clients. Flight arrivals are 24/7 as is this particular Industry! Ridiculous ! Will not attempt to ever give business or recommend this place.

This is a perfect hotel if you're looking for a nice place to rest while you're out and about in the city. I went to see Lady Gaga at Wrigley on 8/25, and chose this place because it is well priced, clean, and super close to the Red Line. If you're looking for somewhere that has all the bells and whistles where you can hang out all day, this probably isn't your place. Overall: Pros: - Proximity to the Red Line - Reasonably priced - Super polite staff - Continental breakfast (just the basics) - Clean, modern rooms - Great skyline view Cons: - No parking. (We parked in the garage near State/8th because it's right next to my old apartment and we were familiar with it. It's right off the Harrison Red Line stop, 2 away from Jaslin) - Not the best place to walk around at night. Coming back from the concert, everything was very dark and didn't feel super safe, but hey, it's downtown in a big city so just be smart and it's not a big deal The pros here definitely outweigh the cons!

Love this place !! Great area in the heart of Chinatown !! Finally a place where a hotel is needed. Management and owner are great people and the rooms are very nice for the location !! Close to all the restaurants by foot don't know why people are complaining about parking there's lots everywhere in the area .

So we arrived a little before check in and luckily they had our room ready so quickly. The lobby area is small but very clean and nice. When I went into our room it was really clean and everything was up to date. Even though our view isn't the best it still shows the cute character of the city! Also awesome location across from Walgreens if you ever forget anything. Really nice hotel!

The good-- clean and new hotel. Tv has many channels including HBO. Fridge in room (although small). Safety deposit inside room, nice A/C, free breakfast, free and reliable wifi, nice and friendly staff. The not good-- so the hotel is next to a fire station so you hear sirens all day and night. Me being a light sleeper, it bothered me. Also our room was next to the elevators so everything someone came or left the floor, there was a loud DING. Again, being a light sleeper, that sucked for me. Although there was free breakfast, there wasn't much to it. There were muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. I was expecting at least toast or a waffle maker. Last downside was that there was no microwave in the room, you had to go downstairs for it. 4/5 stars!

I was hesitant to book this due to a few negative reviews, but I am so glad I took my chances. This hotel is located in the heart of China Town and only about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Chicago ($7-10 Uber). The owner happens to also own the Starbucks next door, which is such a perk. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. The hotel is not super updated, but it had everything that was needed to make out stay comfortable. We would definitely come back.

It's not an amazing hotel but gets 5 stars for the price. It's within walking distance of downtown Chicago (about a half hour walk). The walk is fine if you use common sense. The neighborhood is fine. As for the room, you get all the basics you could need, pretty compact room itself. But I'd say the room was everything you could ask for and probably more for the price and its proximity to downtown. It's also cheap to uber from to anywhere in Chicago. I would absolutely stay here and recommend to a friend.

We just checked into our room, and we were met with used soap, unmade, dirty sheets and pillows thrown as if the person cleaning decided they were done for the day halfway through our room. We booked weeks in advance, and have never had this experience at any other hotel. We went down to talk to the front desk, they were accommodating, but understaffed and overbooked. We were given another room, and when we went in the room was already occupied. How does that happen?! But wait! We were given a third room, and upon walking in yet another uncleaned, messy room, only this one had the wonderful addition of what we could only describe as "fart aroma". Very poorly run and executed hotel to mess up a reservation not once but thrice. Other notes; no parking, you have to park yourself blocks away, and the rooms are tiny, outdated and there are hardly any amenities. Booked through Hotwire and had no idea what we were getting into but the price is not worth any of what we got- full sized bed. Only upside was the woman and the front desk was incredibly sweet and a pleasure to deal with.

Clean hotel. Dont really have a lot of accommodations but in the heart of china town and close to McCormick convention center. (20 min walk or 5 miles. Drive)

I will stay here again with no hesitation. I decided to stay at the Jaslin March 30th through April 1st, simply because of its proximity to the McCormick. I wanted somewhere close, but I couldn't afford the prices. From checking in at the front desk, to locating the room, everything was super easy! The only thing I was shocked by was the $100 deposit for the room. Which I get, but I completely didn't budge for. Thankfully that is back on my account with no issues. The room was small, but I knew that going in. The beds were SUPER comfortable, and the fridge was actually on unlike other hotels. In fact it worked so well that some of the items we put in there froze! The bathroom was nice and clean, also a great size with a nice shower stall instead of a tub which I really appreciated. It will work great for any one in a wheelchair. The rooms were cleaned up every morning with fresh towels each time, regardless of what has been used and beds were made. I also like the added security of having to use your key card to access any of the floors via the elevator. The wireless charging stations in the eating area are a huge BONUS! The staff was friendly and very accommodating, the restaurants around were DELICIOUS! I will absolutely book a room for next year!

Booked a week on business and finished early hotel manager refused to allow me to change the reservation from Monday checkout to Friday. Terrible service. Rooms are fine.

Hotel is super nice and right across from the Chinatown mall, with just a 5 min walk to the metro. We stayed on the fifth floor and had an amazing view of downtown. Keycards are required to get in and use the elevator so it is very secure. Will definitely be back!

Hotel looks nice, is clean and quiet. Price in range to area. Staff is just friendly. Basic in room amenities. No parking lot, there is one, one block down the road. Close to food, shopping, water taxi and train. And very close to down town Chicago.

I'm so glad there is finally a hotel in Chinatown. The Jaslin is about a block and a half from the L station on the red line which goes straight up to the loop, Marshall Fields, etc. We were staying to see Hamilton and it was less than 15 minute ride to the station nearest the theater. And of course the hotel is surrounded by Chinatown with so much food and shopping. Rooms are small (cuz Chicago) but clean and comfortable. Mini fridge, safe, hairdryer. Shower was big but the water wasn't as hot as I would have liked. Staff was very nice and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

This place is increasingly being called The Craplin, small, cramped, broken down; surprised this place hasn't been condemned. Rotten service, shameful amenities. The owner should hang his head in remorse. TV had auto parental controls, loud and malfunctioning air conditioner, lousy location, very small gym and rooms. Run people!!!! Sleep in the street if you have to!!!!

I enjoyed my stay here ........I do wish they had a better variety of food for breakfast. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. Love the location.

While I did end up staying here, I would not recommend this hotel due to their lack of reservation flexibility and customer service. They do not allow any reservation modifications. Additionally this is not made upfront anywhere I saw. I made a reservation for a 6 night stay approximately one month in advance. Due to changes in my trip, I needed to shorten my reservation to 4 nights. I called and they told me this was not allowed, and I must cancel my reservation and completely rebook at a higher rate. Especially given the lack of transparency with this policy, this lack of flexibility was frustrating and seemed to be nickle and diming. While the manager was professional, the front desk person who handled my cancellation was unprofessional and even hung up on me. I saw from other reviews that others have experienced similar issues and I decided to stay elsewhere.

Nice location if you're into ChinaTown. Nice stuff. room was satisfying, quality material that won't disturb your stay. Modern feeling along the stay, yeah I would recommend it.

Room had toe nail clippings in it all over the floor, first thing we noticed. Lobby people were rude. This place sucks. Location is the only positive thing about the joint but there's parking lots I'd rather sleep in then ever again at this hotel.

We had our stay during spring awakening weekend recently. We booked through orbitz and were told we had free late check out and parking. We checked out late no problem but we ended up paying $30 for parking (note: we assume the reason why is because we didn't leave the parking lot until after 12 which is usual check out time, which wasn't disclosed to us). As for our stay, the room was small but manageable, clean, simply basic. We would give this place a 4 but housekeeping bothered us multiple times in the morning despite having our "do not disturb" sign on the door. Overall, considering the time of year, location, and price. Not to bad.

The hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel and room was very clean and neat. I enjoyed my stay here and will book again.

Poor customer service is all I have to say. No one could resolve a simple issue because the manager, whomever that may be, was never there.

Room okay, price was pretty awesome. Girl at front desk was not friendly at all. It was odd. She didn't say hi when we walked in, stoic face, and very stern overall demeanor. Honestly, it was off-putting. So it is a good deal in terms of price, but for same amount you can get a nicer hotel nearby with decent customer service. We thought about staying another night and are opting for another hotel nearby.

Gorgeous location and lobby. Rooms are a little small, but that seems pretty standard around here, especially considering the price compared to other nearby hotels. Lots of dining choices nearby, a Starbucks nearby, a Walgreens across the street for anything you forgot, and plenty of cute boutiques nearby. The hotel staff was super helpful and let us drop off our stuff a day early. Thanks Jaslin!

On checking in the receptionist was surly. I asked if there was parking. There isn't. The closest lot is more than two blocks and is closed for repairs. The only parking is on the street where the max time is two hours. The fire department is right across the street and down a bit. Three times in the last hour they have come out with sirens blaring which can be heard with perfect clarity in the room. If you are looking for basic service and convenience find somewhere else

Hotel is in the heart of China Town. Rooms are nice and small and staff are nice, but there's no parking. They weren't able to give us an extra blanket or towel. And their "continental breakfast" only consisted of three types of costco-like muffins, two types of cereal, orange juice, coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, and yogurt. I couldn't really eat anything that wouldn't upset my stomach, but thats just me. I don't know how that's considered a continental breakfast. But I will say that the staff was extremely helpful and generous when our reservation got messed up on our part by accidentally booking for the night after by letting us stay in our friend's room for no extra charge because we could not afford $250 on short notice. Not many places would do that or even be polite about it.
