"Duboce Triangle is a neighborhood filled with reliable weeknight dinner spots—you know, the ones you can roll up to in your rattiest sweats, spend less than $20, and still leave with leftovers. Jasmine Garden is one of them. The lowkey Vietnamese spot is here for you when a Monday night craving for noodles hits, or after a particularly passionate trivia night results in you being hungover for the next 24 hours. The buttery garlic noodles with barbecue pork are a consistent highlight, as is the phở heaped with onions and fresh herbs." - Julia Chen

Google
If you are looking for an excellent Chinese restaurant, especially in a small town like Monument, Colorado, this should be your one and only choice! I might even say that if you were driving down I 25 and you were considering visiting this place, go ahead and do it you will not regret your choice! I have visited many Chinese restaurants, most of them are not worth leaving a review, however, this one is definitely on the top of my list of places that I have enjoyed eating recently! It is a small family owned Chinese restaurant with a family that truly takes care of you. The meals are a great value with large portions. This is a definite must stop. I had a large lunch that I attended here and they treated us so graciously, that I decided I must write a review. The food, the service was great! You will thank me !

Google
If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered their "Chef Special - Beef Pan Fried Noodle" and in no way is that Beef as the owners claim. I had my boyfriend and son try it and they both said it tasted and looked like pork. I am personally allergic to pork which was the bigger concern. After calling the restaurant very politely and explaining the issue, the owner told me I'd have to bring the whole dish back in order to receive a refund so they could inspect it. To be clear, I wasn't requesting a refund on anything else in our order, only this one dish. Not only was the rest of the food rated to a low-medium at best but what you would expect from a quick take-out Chinese, my biggest issue was the horrible customer service to have to demand a person to then physically drive a dish back so they can inspect it before they would issue a refund?! For one dish, that's definitely not worth the time or money. I'm not a person to leave reviews on a place, but this situation felt worth sharing to others... "Chef Special - Beef Pan Fried Noodle" in the trash and never again will I order from Jasmine Garden!

Google
Mu family all enjoyed the food and we all got different dishes. I got the egg fried rice with chicken, which wasn't bad but I wish the chicken had more flavor. The rest of my family loved their food a lot.

Google
What a breath of fresh air! This is one of those gems only the locals know about. Amazing food, with an extensive menu. My daughter and I had a pot of Jasmine tea, so delicious. Large portions, we both took a box home. They had a ton of take-out orders picked up while we were there!! Try it!!!

Christina Tanner

Google
We got to go and the food was put in the Styrofoam box so hot it melted the box into the food. The pork was way overcooked. Most of the other food was up to par. But we were turned off by the melted container. It's a little pricey but they do give you large portions.

Google
Positive. Place was clean. Server was gnarly. Food was not good when compared to may other similar restaurants. Soup was barely warm. Sweet sauce was pretty weird. The “green curry” was the worst I have had. Go for it to decide for yourself. I did not get sick.

Google
Very clean, attentive service and our food arrived quickly. All staff were wearing masks and gloves. The food is typical for this type of restaurant, and they did not skimp on the shrimp! The dinner servings were large and priced about average. The noodles were thinner than we expected, but tasted very good. The mango shrimp had lots of fresh tasting mango and was quite good. We enjoyed a nice meal here.

Google
Got the vegetable tofu soup. Broth was OK but the tofu was just uncooked chunks. The vegetable egg rolls were pretty good. But the service was not really service. The two waitresses were both inattentive and rude. I have been here before and had better food and better service. But in all honesty, I did not come here for years, and that was because of about the rudest waitress I have ever had. But some friends convinced me to come back and join them and give it another shot. I did and I had two good experiences. But today was once again terrible service and this time the food wasn't even that good.

Yelp
They changed their Sweet & Sour chicken to small chunks of chicken and it has lost the great tatse, a great disappointment for us. It has made us search put other places after many years here. Still good soup and good food.

Michael O.

Yelp
We ordered chicken chow mein in the "crispy noodles" section and received this, which is not what we expected. When I called them about this they told me we received chicken chow mein as we ordered and hung up on me. Wow, talk about not admitting their mistake. I noticed another reviewer had the same exact problem. Take a look at the pic I posted and google chicken chow mein, you'll see it's completely different. Also, their food is nothing to die for. Their egg foo young was dry and not fluffy as what we're used to. Also, their steamed rice was very dry, almost like it was leftover rice. Overall horrible experience.

Michal P.

Yelp
We've loved Jasmine Garden for many years, eating their food regularly as take out. We like the seafood pan fried noodles and everything comes out hot and fresh. It's been disappointing lately as the orange chicken is in now small pieces and is not as good, just as another reviewer mentioned about the sweet and sour. My daughter wanted to try it one more time this week, and it came out the same. Our to go box holding all the food was a box for canned chicken from Sams Club, so we were left wondering if they're using canned chicken. We want them to be successful and hope they can make the orange chicken the way they used to.

Shawn K.

Yelp
Great food. Great prices. Great service. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Couldn't ask for more.

John F.

Yelp
Food was very good I am only giving it 4 stars because the service was too fast. We ordered an app. and the meal arrived at the same time.

Lorelen N.

Yelp
I came across this gem after a hike. Authentic asian cuisine. The food is delicious and perfectly seasoned and the serving are absolutely generous for the price. Nice and clean ambiance. Its a small family restaurant thats a great find. Service was attentive. One of my new go-to spots in Monument.

Marella R.

Yelp
never had a bad experience here! the food is so good, and the staff are always nice. HIGHLY recommend Wonton Soup, i had it when i had scarlet fever and it tastes like a hug.

Breonna T.

Yelp
Moo Goo Gai Pan We go here often and I don't complain or write reviews much but I ordered a pick up of Moo Goo Gai Pan it literally is just celery and chicken and a few mushrooms , I was excited to eat some veggies but then got this! I called and complained and all the lady did was argue. all I really wanted was it made right but won't be going back!

Teresa G.

Yelp
The food here is made to order. Arrives piping hot and delicious. Every Christmas Eve, we order a 6 entrees, rice and dumplings. Our kids luv the food and we have a wonderful family evening.

Sandra W.

Yelp
Great food and quick polite service / when ever we come, always welcomed and plenty of seats/ great egg drop soup and entres enough ALWAYS to take home leftovers!

Bertrand L.

Yelp
Tried this for the first time after a recommendation from a local to the area. Had the pan fried noodles, potstickers, sesame beef, moo-shu chicken. As for the good, the fried potstickers were nicely prepared, with the accompanying soy sauce/vinegar/shallot dipping sauce tasty. It would have been nice if they had also included hot sauce, but perhaps that's asking a bit much from a home boy. The sesame beef was not as I expected - it was more like burnt port or twice cooked beef instead. However, despite that, it was a tasty dish. However, the moo-shu was ok, but the pancakes were dry, and crumbled when brought together to make the serving. The noodles were at best unremarkable, and they tasted like they were more like ramen out of a styrofoam cup - not in the least 'pan fried'. Hard to understand that one.

Jevita R.

Yelp
Great food. Good value and always worth the trip to get dinner from here. We've never had a bad experience and everything we've tried we've enjoyed

Brenda B.

Yelp
Excellent food -- and consistently so. And our orders are always perfect. We have loved Jasmine Garden (in Monument) for many years.

Gary W.

Yelp
The Jasmine Garden has Great Chinese food & service! And Always prepared to order! Prompt professional service !

Colby C.

Yelp
Think I found my new asain restuarant. Usually I hate ordering out because every place seems to not bother like they would for someone eating at the establishment. The food was delicious best Ive had in a long time. Very flavorful, hot/fresh, and tasty. I didnt stay but staff seemed attentive and place was clean.

Ryan H.

Yelp
Great Chinese food at great prices. This is my go-to for good, quick food on a night I don't feel like cooking!

Patricia T.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Staff is friendly. Best Chinese food we've had in years. Restaurant is clean.

Buck L.

Yelp
Really outstanding food and service, served super-fresh and hot almost immediately after you sit down. Order whatever main course you want (and add the "Special Dinner" combination for about $3- you get a crispy butterflied shrimp, choice of soup, wonton, and spring roll.) The hot and sour soup is the best we've ever had-- and we've been eating Chinese food for 50 years! We like to order the sweet and sour chicken with their lemon sauce instead of the sweet and sour sauce. The lemon chicken option has a very generous amount of large crispy fried chicken tenders. The Hunan Beef and Vegetables is also excellent. The service by Vivian is rapid, unobtrusive, and excellent. Our favorite place for Chinese dinner. Also, we bought a huge takeout dinner for the whole family for Christmas-- plenty of excellent food for a lot less than PF Chang's!

Anita L.

Yelp
We met for lunch and were seated right away. The server was very nice and brought us water in a glass goblet, the menu that was full of great lunch and dinner choices so it was hard to decide what to order for lunch. My friend ordered the Beef with Vegetables and I had Orange Chicken. When our food came, the portions were ample and delicious. We were catching up on news since we live in different states and were not rushed to leave. I would highly recommend this restaurant and intend to return. And I should mention that the tables, floor and the menus were clean. The staff was very friendly as well.

Jordan S.

Yelp
This place is the best Chinese food in Monument or north Colorado Springs. I know people love Ivy's Cafe and Shangrila, but Jasmine Garden is simply better than both and doesn't cost as much. My favorite dish here is sesame chicken with fried rice, it's delicious!

Brian A.

Yelp
There's a few decent Chinese/Asian food places in monument but so far this has been my favorite. Although the prices are a little high, you get good portion size.

Brandon K.

Yelp
WOW!!! So good it's scary!! Food came out very quickly, service was wonderful, and the food is DELICIOUS!!!! I'm very picky and this place has exceeded my expectations!! We will most definitely be back here VERY soon!

Candy V.

Yelp
Great authentic food, cute place to enjoy a quiet delicious dinner. Very friendly staff

Javier P.

Yelp
This is my go to Chinese restaurant in Monument. I get the egg drop soup and mixed fried rice at least once a week for over a year. My wife gets the pad Thai chicken. Always fresh and good portion sizes.

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
At last we found our go to Chinese restaurant! Convenient location in Monument and super clean with great service. Food was fantastic with generous portions for $10 on the lunch menu. Make sure to order the fried pot stickers!! They're amazing! Hot soups are very good as well. Staff was very friendly They're going to see us often!

Ilya N.

Yelp
I love your chicken pad Thai!!!! You should train the other restaurants how to do it right.

K H.

Yelp
I have been a long time customer. I even have driven down here after I moved from Monument to the Denver area and supported them during the pandemic when they kept their restaurant closed after others had opened back up. The food is typically good. But throughout the years there has only been one female server that has been pleasant. The staff many times will sit in the dining room, talk loudly and watch videos with the volume turned up high. Sometimes they eat and the man who I believe is one of the cooks and possibly the owner is fairly loud with his eating. Today was the final straw for me. My water glass was dirty, the (nice) female server started watching videos on her phone with the man and they had the volume up very loud. Then he started eating and making gross noises which caught my attention and to my shock he kept spitting out food into his bowl. Very gross and made me wonder what goes on back in the kitchen and if my food was safe which I had already eaten. Wonder when the last health inspection took place and what a health inspector would do if they saw this all take place. Today they lost a loyal customer.

Ben C.

Yelp
Forget the other option in Monument, this is the only place that takes pride in what they make. Equivalent prices and much better service and food quality. Definitely my Chinese go-to.

Jeff G.

Yelp
We had a huge order for a Christmas eve gathering and Jasmine Garden did a fantastic job having everything ready on time, hot, and super delicious. I was impressed and will be coming back often!

Mandy D.

Yelp
I just called and they are open again! This is our favorite Chinese food in Monument. Take out is usually fast and accurate. The General Tao's chicken and the mooshoo are both great.

Hayley S.

Yelp
Terrible service. Went there last night for dinner and it was the worst service i have ever had!! Not friendly at all, very rude and disrespectful. They do not care at all there! Avoid this place

David S.

Yelp
Terrible!!!! Worst service we have ever experienced in our life. Extremely rude and disrespectful!! Could not believe how wee were treated. Please avoid this place at all costs.

Tina D.

Yelp
Loved the food! Service was good! Lunch was ready in less than 10 minutes! Nice and clean. So Yummy! I'll be back!

Elliot H.

Yelp
Visited this place for the first time yesterday. I am very impressed. Very fast service, and the orange chicken and fries rice are delicious. I was particularly happy that the chilies packed into my take-out were left whole instead of chopped up, so I didn't have to pick them out or suffer a lot of heat. Just the right amount of flavor was left from the chilies in the sauce! I will definitely be back.

Karina C.

Yelp
This place was a bit hidden so there was no surprise that there was not a lot of people dining. They have lunch specials on weekends which is great because not all places do. I had the Kong poa chicken which was yummy and I'm starting to wonder if brown rice instead of friend rice is a thing here in Colorado. Back home in TX it's either a choice of steamed or friend. None the less it was good, portions a bit small but then again it was the lunch menu and for the price it was good.

Sara T.

Yelp
We've ordered take out from this restaurant multiple times. We have been pleased with the taste of the food. Reasonably priced and decent portion sizes.

Ken C.

Yelp
This was our first visit. Met two friends there - us from Colorado Springs and they came from Parker. Everything was perfect - couldn't ask for anything more. We were greeted immediately upon entering, and seated right away. We were served hot jasmine tea while figuring out what to order. I had the Moo Shu Beef - super tender and great flavors. My wife had the vegetable Lo Mein and enjoyed it as well. Our friends had the sesame chicken and the Happy Family. Each of us added the dinner special so we each had soup, egg roll (extra long, light and crispy), cheese wonton, and a very nice sized crispy shrimp. I read some negative reviews of this place and was a slight bit weary, but that is long gone. The food & service were great. Huge portions too!

Antony R.

Yelp
Friendly family restaurant. Good American style Chinese food. Competitively priced and a great choice for lunch or dinner.

Devon P.

Yelp
Crab Rangoon is literally my favorite food. We just moved here and I wanted to try a place near us to try. The cheese wontons were realllly small. So the wrapper to filling ratio was way too much. It's a huge bummer. General Tso's was decent. Fried Rice pretty good.

Mary-Paige W.

Yelp
Jasmine is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Monument. My husband and I always order take out from them, we haven't ever eaten inside so I can't vouch for the atmosphere of the restaurant. We moved to Monument from Castle Rock about a year and a half ago and have tried all the Chinese places here in town. We favor Jasmine over all the others combined. We live about 10 minutes from the restaurant and our meals are always piping hot when we get home. Never had a problem with temperature. Some of the few dishes we favor are; Sesame Chicken, General Taos Chicken, Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef & Chicken Fried Rice. We have tried many more but those are our go to meals. The chicken in the sesame, general taos & orange chicken are always nicely battered and come with plenty of sauce. Which I personally love. The meals themselves are very generous portions, one dinner feeds me for at least 3 separate meals. If you order your meal with the "dinner special" it comes with white, brown or fried rice. All are yummy & decent portions, your choice of soup, an egg roll, crab cheese wonton & fried shrimp. It's an unbelievable amount of food in my opinion. The staff have always been polite and the food is always ready fast. The max we have ever been told for wait time is 15 mins, it was done in 10 tho. They allow you to customize your dishes to your preference too. Which I always think is nice so that you know it's freshly made just for you. We always order our dishes extra spicy, and our fried rice without bean sprouts. They have always been extremely accommodating if you just ask. All in all, I like Jasmine & will continue to order from here.

Regina M.

Yelp
Very good Chinese food and curries, large portions, easily 2 meals, and a very quiet environment with attentive staff.

Jared M.

Yelp
I want to first off say that I got take out and I feel that can take away from the true flavor, especially the soup. Also I didn't feel that the staff at the front was overly friendly. But there were pros and cons of what I ordered and everything put together is why I gave them 3 stars. I ordered the lunch menu sesame beef. This came with steamed rice and choice of soup and spring roll. As a whole I wasn't disappointed or ecstatic. I feel that it's just your normal Chinese restaurant. With that being said, I did have some good pieces and take aways and I will go back. The sesame beef was good-not great-the sauce was a little much but overall I liked it. The steamed rice was done well(hard to not do well). Next time I'll try the fried rice. The soup wasn't anything special, it may have been because I got it to go. I got the hot and sour soup-I liked it but it wasn't the best I've had. What I really liked and I will say they did these very well are the spring rolls. They are lightly fried and the meat is finely chopped with fresh veggies. Once again I will continue to go here and I will probably get something better than what I had but I stand by my review.

Wagner, J.

Yelp
Great Chinese food. This review is written during COVID19- these folks take it seriously. Always polite, respectful and quick. We are so glad you are available for carry out!

Bill D.

Yelp
The food is average at best, but the service is pretty bad. A large dose of attitude isn't the flavor I want with dinner.

Jim L.

Yelp
Nice food, ok, General Tao (not Tso) Chicken was everyone's favorite. The pork and fried noodles and chicken and fried noodles everyone hated, chicken and broccoli was really good. Would be 3.5 stars but 12.99 bottles if decent wine bumped it to 4 stars.

Cate M.

Yelp
Since the virus we haven't been able to place an order! You are my go-to lunch! My husband and I love your take-out as well as sitting in your comfortable, relaxing restaurant--as well as with friends! We miss you! Please start selling your awesome food!

Cirilo P.

Yelp
Normally a really good dinner. They may have changed the recipe for the sesame chicken. Seemed a little on the normal side rather than excitingly tasty. Also the server seemed to rush clearing the table a bit. Made the boss (wife) a little uneasy. Overall still a 4 star rating. Hopefully next time it will be back to deliciously delightful.

Richard R.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was quick, though not friendly, just matter of fact. When we declined the soup (chicken broth) and egg roll (beef) because we are vegetarian no discount nor alternate was provided.

Jim E.

Yelp
First let me say that I was hungry after doing some chores on an early Sunday morning. Before heading home I wanted to grab a bite to eat for carry out. Selection in my area is limited and immediately thought of fast food and sandwiches. I wanted something different, new, and healthy. So I checked my YELP app. Jasmine garden had good reviews and on my way home. So decided to stop there. I walked in and placed my order. The Lady behind the counter said it would be 5-10 minutes. I said okay and waited. Within 10 minutes my order was ready and I took my order as I smiled out the door. After I got home, I checked my order. Two lunch entrees, two set of condiments, two soups, and a package of spring rolls. nice, all there! I ordered the lunch chicken Pad Thai and broccoli beef. As mentioned, this comes with soup (egg drop in my case) and spring rolls. I also ordered the steamed rice with my order (comes with fried, steamed, or brown). Portions of the lunch entrees were HUGE! The soup was to die for. I will go back for the soup alone. I make a lot of Pad Thai at home, but this Pad ThAi has a good flavor that I have not been able to capture yet. Noodles crisp, chicken juicy, and flavor wanting me to learn what they use. The broccoli beef was favorable, but not the best I have had. One thing to note is that the steamed rice was perfect! At home it always comes out sticky. I will go back to this restaurant.
