Jason's Deli

My kids beg to come here every week and I don’t mind. The staff is very nice and is very accommodating. My kids love seeing Mr. Kevin behind the counter and getting to tell them what they want (which is always Mac n cheese).

I intended to post this review in order to get a free cookie, the final comment by an employee disappointed me enough to decline it. Store is very clean and the staff is always friendly in most every Jason’s deli including this one. The menu is clean and prices are clear. The food is fresh and the employees are too. The location is easy to find and parking is ample. A real person answers the phone. For these things you are winning 🤙 never change. “Our food will be done in a few minutes when you order it” is not an appropriate answer. Especially in the context of ‘order it ahead of time in order to avoid the wait’ Not waiting for you to cook food I asked you to cook ahead of time, twice. Completely baffled by this response. Totally unacceptable. Not recommended.

Jason's Deli is always a consistent place to eat salad soup or sandwich. They have a nice salad bar with a lot of vegetation and fun toppings and also a breads nuts and fried onions section. Their sandwiches are well constructed and make a nice meal. The people that work here tend to be pretty friendly and seem like they're fairly happy to be there also which is a very nice thing. They also have a good selection of well made soups that don't usually disappoint. The biggest thing I can say about Jason's is it is very consistent with its quality and it is a nice place to go grab a lunch where you can make some healthy choices and still enjoy yourself. I've eaten here many many times and would have to say that I've never had a bad experience. One other thing that's quite nice about this, if you have a sweet tooth that is, they have free soft serve ice cream and cones with your meal purchase which is pretty famous with a lot of people. I have some friends who kind of live for the ice cream part of this journey! Anyway a very solid choice and great value for the money and friendly place...

Absolutely delish salad bar and sandwiches! Tomatoes basil was hot and fresh! Very clean location and friendly staff! Will definitely be back! 🙂

I ordered Penne pasta with meatball for lunch on 10/6/2022. The quality of food was good, with just right portion size. The young lady who took my order was courteous. A good place to grab a lunch during work.

I had a good experience. My sandwich was prepared well and my chips weren't all broken up. Sometimes, you get a sandwich and opt for the chips, and the chips look like they came from the bottom of a 2 year old bag... All broken up and crusty. Not here. I got chips that were full size and tasted good. The place was clean, and it looked like someone was always tidying up.

It is very easy to order here. My meal was made perfectly. It was prepared quickly and delivered to my table faster than I expected. The food was very fresh; soft bread and muffins; crisp lettuce. EDIT: They are taking social distancing precautions for diners very seriously. Tables and booths are closed to allow safe distancing between diners.

This is the only Jason's Deli I have ever visited. Honestly, I've missed not being able to chow down on a great Reuben sandwich or a hot pastrami stacked several inches high on crusty grilled rye bread ever since Katz' Deli closed down on 6th Street years ago. My yearning has now been quenched. The New York Yankee sandwich is the best of both worlds. Almost bigger than my mouth can open for, it's a mammoth of a sandwich with piles of thin sliced corned beef, pastrami and swiss cheese on grilled rye bread. I add onions and spicy brown mustard just cause I love them. You can't go wrong with this selection!

First time in a long time and so happy to find an actual chicken salad sandwich! Tried the half. Sandwich half. Salad bar at lunch. Beautiful salad bar set up with just about. Anything including tiny individual corn bread and gingerbread. Barely walking after all that the ice crème cone machine was calling me! My companion enjoyed a BLT with fried egg... new to me

I like this location. It doesn't matter who the employee is at the register; I always receive good service. I'm never pressured for an upsale. Also, when I need a to-go box, it's always been easy to get one from whomever is working the end of the line. They take a quick moment out of what they are doing, determine the size needed, and hand it over. The restaurant is typically pretty clean. Sometimes there will be a few dirty tables, but while dining I'll see employees come around to take care of them. Finally, my orders are still spot on. If you're in this area, I recommend stopping in and enjoying a meal with this location.

I like to go to Jasons deli and order their salad bar. They have a great variety of fresh vegetables and healthy options. I'll also get a side of hummus and crackers from the salad bar. I tried most of their sandwiches and they're always good.It's a great chain deli restaurant, And I love that they still have soft serve ice cream!

If I could give no stars I would. This cost $8.89. The smallest half sandwich with barely any meat and no mustard.

Not that into it! I feel like it stinks in the actual restaurants, and looks like every thing is sticky and probably has roaches at night? I like salads usually but i ordered one and it was lame as hell. The pasta alfredo was too gloppy, the fruit cup to packagey, the sandwiches hard to eat, and im not an ice cream type! It might be okay for Jason but Im obviously out if his league by alot. I literally cant believe im writing a Yelp review about it!

I ordered for our branch since we were short staffed. I got a call back because one of orders was incomplete. Desiree was very nice and helpful. When I got there to pick up my order it was fresh. When I got to work everyone got what they ordered, nothing was missing. The food was very delicious. I will continue to order from this location going forward. Everyone at work was happy with the food. I will let everyone know that this Jason's Deli is absolutely the best! The staff was very welcoming to me when I picked up my order and assured me that everything was there, and they were right! Thank again Jason's Deli for your superb customer service!

Had chicken Alfredo with Mac and cheese and it was delicious best I've had. Will definitely be coming back

This is one of the smaller locations I've been to but otherwise it's the standard Jason's experience. Significantly better quality than fast food and not much slower. There's a huge menu with a variety of healthier options. This location seems to get the food a bit hotter than the other location I visit, so that alone is a reason to come back to this location. Fair warning, it's fairly dark and cool in here. In other words, it might be a great option to avoid the hot summer afternoons and evenings.

Went here for lunch today and ordered the Texas style spud!! It was amazing and as always the service was top notch. Big enough to share half of it and still have lunch and dinner for myself

Tasty salads and sandwiches. I like that almost anything can be gotten with gluten free bread. My friends love the free ice cream after a meal!

I love Jason's Deli and this one holds true to all the other locations I've visited. Very clean, super new, good ambiance​, nice staff and everything I've ordered thus far have​ been perfect. Love their sandwiches and ​soups and no one comes close to the quality of their salad bar. The free ice cream is always something to look forward to when I'm done with my meal. This location is really nice when meeting someone during the middle of the day because​ it isn't packed and the noise​ level is very tolerable and even a bit relaxing. My wife and I love this place that is literally 2 minutes from our place. A great place for something healthy!

Got a combo order of a half chicken chili and half deli club. For some soup and a sandwich it was actually surprising delicious. The chili had a generous amount of meat and cheese. The sandwich was well toasted, not soggy at all, and of course loaded with deli meats. My fifth star is granted to Jason's Deli due to the fact that they have free soft serve and a free giant salad, granola, muffin bar. I didn't try all the options but I would totally come back to do so. When we came around bunch time the place was quite deserted, but busy or not, this place is very spacious and gives me good vibes.

It's Jason's deli. Plenty of healthy food options. This location has plenty of parking and excellent service. It's a little smaller and can get packed on churchy day. Pro tip: use the back on the burnet rd side. Always plenty of parking and most people haven't figured out that it's there.

My wife and I went back for our second and third visit, and still love this location. Everything is fresh, the staff is friendly, the place is spotless, and great Jason's value. We are usually soup and salad folks but these times we actually went for sandwiches. Stacked high, and the bread was incredibly fresh. This place is primed for multiple visits, I am betting I will keep my "Dukedom".

Decent enough food, but the service is terrible, specifically from employee Desiree. Placed an online order and was not greeted when I came in the door. I saw the Xpress pick up that was pushed near the entrance and stepped to grab but was reprimanded immediately by the Desiree. She had a terrible attitude, her tone was so rude , the situation could've been handled much better. After that interaction she continued to talk badly about me with a customer. Completely unprofessional and will not be returning to this location. Still eating here, and her attitude continues. Wow, must be having a bad day.

Great service and don't miss out on the chicken panini! Great combination with the blue chips.

The staff was super great but I couldn't enjoy my meal because it felt like I was eating in a walk-in freezer. A small child at another table complained of the cold his entire meal. Relatable. I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon sandwich but the Mac and cheese was watery and half cold/half warm.

Please, please buy better plastic ware. I'm tired of it breaking off in my food! That's my only complaint.

Love their salad bar, can't get enough of it. Wish the take out was less plastic but otherwise, there's nothing to complain about. Yum! Great deal, great and fresh food.

Very clean restaurant and friendly staff! They recently opened the salad bar up again but are still taking precautions by giving all customers disposable gloves to serve themselves. I will say, the lack of a fifth star is because some items on the salad bar weren't the freshest but it was still so good. I love Jason's Delis and this location did not disappoint!

We (myself, my wife, and my son) eat here about every two or three weeks. The food is usually fine. We have been doing the curbside thing for a year or so due to COVID and our jobs as Physicians. The staff has always been nice, polite and, importantly, masked and gloved. I walked in to pick up my order today and discovered half the staff that preps and serves food was not masked. When I asked why I was told "because It is optional". I have no desire to join the patients in the ICU because some 19 year old and her manager do not care about what happens to their customers. More importantly, I do not want to expose my son to the possibility of infection due to staff "why should I care?" attitude. You could not pay me to eat here ever again. I made sure not to be rude or condescending. I just left and will never be back. It seems like the only safe solution.

I've never had such a horrible experience at a Jason's Deli. I got extremely sick after eating here. I always get gluten-free bread from Jason's Deli and never have issues. But this location managed to mess up my order and make me sick. The salad tray lady argued with my husband about how we paid for two salads and she was determined to give us one bowl. This place is horrific. The one on 41st is way better.

Chelsea was beyond helpful. It was my first time in and I didn't have any idea what I wanted. She explained the menu and even gave me samples of the soups I was deciding between!! The broccoli cheese was almost as good as Panera and the seafood gumbo was freaking amazing. Oh and did I mention they have a FREE soft-serve ice-cream machine for you to use while you wait or for dessert.

Our work team was visiting Austin and needed a quick bite to eat for a large group and this Jason's Deli location was perfect! The food was great and the staff was knowledgeable and nice. The restaurant was very clean and the food came out quickly. All 10 of us were very satisfied with our meals and we made it back to our meeting with plenty of time! Can't wait to go back!

This is a nice looking Jason's Deli I have been to the other locations of Jason's Deli and it is a favorite restaurant of ours this location is very close to my volunteer job so i will be visiting this Jason's deli on Thursday's the food here is excellent and affaordable the employees are very nice it appears to be a smaller location then the other Jason's deli i have visited and everyone can help themselves to Free Ice Cream

If you're interested in quick counter service and have little ones that can be bribed to be on good behavior for a soft serve cone, this is the place. They have a number of options but really are more of a fast food sandwich shop than a deli.

I like going to Jason's Deli, but service on west Anderson is terrible. They don't give you numbers for the order, don't give receipts unless you ask for them, then they forget your order on the counter, and by the ti M e you go complain, it's another cashier who will not recognize you, then they have to ask the manager to sort out the issue. Anyway, go to the hancock location instead.

Have ordered online before and checked out as a guest because I do not want the endless emails. Tried to do it today and, yes, you can checkout as a guest, but it then forces you to create an account. Of course, I did not and ordered from another deli place. In hard times, you don't want to be losing customers to stupidity.

This is my favorite Jason's Deli.. Not only is it the closest to home, but is the cleanest, friendliest, and nicest... Usually not as crowded as well..
