Canadian Rockies Dining Guide to the Food & Drink Scene | Eater

"A pioneering national-park brewery founded in the mid-2000s that produces approachable, trail-friendly beers like a fruit-forward session IPA and a honey ale named after the town mascot, served both on draft at the brewpub with hearty mountain meals and in cans for trail-side enjoyment." - Zoe Baillargeon

"National Park Pilsner Opened in 2005, the Jasper Brewing Company was the first brewpub within a Canadian national park. It is now a local’s staple hangout. Seven different beers—like the Rockhopper IPA and Honey Bear Ale—are brewed on location, so make sure to order a brewery tour along with a fresh pint. The food menu is pub fare with a special flare to help bring out the flavors of the beer. The brewpub, open daily from 11:30am to 1:00am, is child-friendly, too, as the venue is divided into two, with both a restaurant and pub. Beer from $5.50. Contact 1-780-852-4111."

"As Canada's first national park brewery, I appreciated Jasper Brewing Company’s six signature on-site brews and elevated pub fare at its large restaurant; note it is temporarily closed due to wildfire damage with plans to reopen in spring 2025." - Matthew Kepnes

Pretty great spot for a nice dinner! Came here to have a bit of a late dinner. Service however can be a bit understaffed because of how huge the place was- the menu had a good selection so it didn’t take long for us to know what we want, it just took long for a wait staff to notice us. Besides that, the food was really fantastic. Just make sure you know that the sides and appetizers are huge, and I’d say they are meant for sharing for up to 4-5 people and it was way too much for just two of us. A lot of TVs in the place as well as they stream some of the local sports games, so I’d say the atmosphere is pretty nice.

We stopped in at Jasper Brewing Co. and had a great experience! The atmosphere is very casual and welcoming — one side is more of a restaurant, and the other has a lively bar vibe. Service was good and friendly throughout our visit. We tried the wings and fish & chips, both were delicious and cooked perfectly. There are TVs everywhere, so it’s a great spot to catch a hockey or baseball game while enjoying a good meal and a cold drink. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Jasper!

We loved this place so much that we came three times during our 4-day stay in Jasper. That says it all! The atmosphere is great, and every staff member who served us was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The beers and food were exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommended!

We had a spot outside in front of the business which was nice with the good weather. We just walked in without a reservation. They have a nice range of beers to choose from, some a bit more niche then the other. I also went for the elk meatloaf which was great. We had a good time.

Got food and drinks twice at JBC during our recent hiking trip in Jasper. The service was fantastic and the Seared Halloumi Bowl was delicious 😋 The group really enjoyed the Beef Dip and the Korean Fried Chicken as well as some Crisp Pils, White Sangria and the Brad's Riefle. Thanks JBC 🦌🫎

Had a late lunch at the Jasper Brewing Company. Solid food all around. Fish and chips, wings, poutine, or just a nacho snack, all of it was top tier perfectly made. S&P wings were crispy and tasty, a good size and not dry, like many others I've had. Recommended. Lots of beer choices if you like a fruity type. I had the Crisp Pil. Easy drinking and smooth. Service was good and constant to check on things. Atmosphere was quiet, some large sports TVs. Bathrooms were clean. Overall a 5 star, will be back. Please support Jasper so that the town can be greater than it was. Thanks.

Really great spot! We sat outside on the terrace, which was super nice. The beer was awesome, and the food was even better. We both had the BBQ elk and loved it—tons of flavor and cooked just right. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great place to eat! Super friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere! Quick service and plenty of seating and space too. The fish and chips were pretty solid. The elk meatloaf was also solid, with a nice a presentation for the plating. The meatloaf itself was a bit dry though. Overall great experience!
