Jasper Winery is the perfect blend of charm, sophistication, and relaxation. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a truly memorable experience. The wine selection is impressive, offering a mix of reds, whites, and seasonal varieties that cater to both new wine enthusiasts and seasoned connoisseurs. Their Front Porch Rosé and Red Blend are personal favorites—smooth, flavorful, and easy to enjoy. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to provide pairing suggestions or guide you to a wine that suits your palate. The outdoor space is another standout feature. Whether you’re attending one of their live music events or simply enjoying a sunny afternoon with a glass in hand, the ambiance is unbeatable. It’s family-friendly too, which makes it a great spot for gatherings. If you’re in the Des Moines area, Jasper Winery is a must-visit destination. It’s not just a place to sip wine; it’s an experience that leaves you looking forward to your next visit. Highly recommend! Feel free to adjust details if you’d like to personalize it further!

Sydney and the entire staff at Jasper Winery could not have made our wedding any more special if they tried! From the early stages of planning, to the wine tasting, to the event, we always felt so welcome, comfortable, and loved every moment! We were able to have a stunning outdoor ceremony in the vineyard, dancing in the tent, and games inside to accommodate all our guests! Not to mention, the wine was delicious and everyone had a fantastic time! I very much recommend looking into Jasper Winery for your big event. It is beautiful, cozy, and affordably priced for a premier experience!

Stopped in on a rainy afternoon for a tasting. The employees were super friendly and chatty and helpful. The seating area is very empty and bland and obviously used for events - would be nice to have something with a bit more personality for those coming for tastings. The outdoor seating areas would be lovely in dry weather. They were setting up for a concert series with food vendors and it looked like a great crowd was gathering. We had other plans otherwise it would have been fun to stay.

My soon to be mother in law hosted my bridal shower here last weekend and it was gorgeous! The barrel room worked so wonderfully for our group. My MIL said the staff was phenomenal to work with. Jasper winery was so accommodating!! The sangria was of course a major hit with everyone, we all had multiple glasses! I highly recommend Jasper Winery for your next event in Des Moines!

Google
perfect for a wedding! highly recommend when Sydney is back! She was great to work with and very kind. She's out right now and Delaney & Rose we not the best leading up to the wedding or even wedding day. The venue is gorgeous and wonderful a la carte option. We purposely chose a date after October 31st to save money on venue cost. We received compliments on the venue and how the wedding turned out!

Google
We had my birthday party here and bought the $150 package which included 5 bottles of wine, two cheese platters and a small chocolate tray. The space was super fun and relaxing. Loved that we could bring in our own food and had tables held for my guests.

Google
The tasting does not match the description and was a very underwelming experience. Our group chose the Jasper Special, yet there was not "reserved seating", despite making a reservation in advance. We were lucky enough that people left about 10 minutes in, otherwise we would not have had seating for our group together. Our group had to get up to get water before being offered, and there was not napkins avaible on the table. Nor was there a "presentation of the wines", all that was described was the ingredients that were also on the lable. The cheese plate was cheap block cheese just cut fancy. The price isn't terrible, but keep your expectations low, and beware if booking wth groups for an important event as your reservation does not seem to have value.

We just held my daughter’s wedding at Jasper Winery and I have to compliment the team for going above and beyond. The venue is beautiful. The bar area is a great mix of beautiful wood and metal. The reception hall has high ceilings, large glass doors and windows, and lighting that lends to the ambience. We had about 150 guests and used the inside space and the tent for the ceremony and reception. You should note you cannot start a private event until Jasper closes to the public at 6pm. (For us, when we moved the ceremony to Jasper because of COVID and it changed the wedding time.) Sydney and her team are very accommodating. We could drop off center pieces and other items in advance to help ease the tension of the Big Day. They created a space with dividers and chairs for the bride and bridesmaids in the back so guests wouldn’t see them too soon. They accommodated the florist on the day of to decorate the room and worked well with our caterer, Great Caterers of Iowa (also highly recommend them!) The Jasper team put all hands on deck when storm clouds started gathering on the horizon and we decided to quickly move the wedding ceremony under the tent. Just in time, the bride and groom had a dry “I do.” The bar did get a little backed up during the event because we lost a bar when the ceremony moved to under the tent. I would not recommend a group much larger than ours as there are only 3 women's stalls. With so many guests, they also need staff to attend to the bathrooms during the event but those things are easily fixable as they learn and grow. They were responsive throughout the planning process and even afterwards for a lost bracelet. Overall - fantastic place for a wedding and a wonderful team!

Yelp
I attended the Jasper Winery wine and Cider fest because I had a number of friends that were going to be there. I had a great time but I am giving this a 3 star sole because the value for my money was not there. With the Event Brite fees it was $55. Sure, we could have unlimited samples of wine and cider over the course of three hours, but all those samples wear to entice people to make additional purchases. Music, tours, cheese samples and tasting glass were included in the price. Anyway, I had a lovely time with friends I just can't get past spending so much to attend.

Janella N.

Yelp
Summer Concert Series is a must if you're in the Des Moines area!! Pricing for wine, beer, and ciders are similar to most other places but the atmosphere is pretty special! Once you're nestled behind their grape vines you forget that you're so close to downtown Des Moines. As for the concert, it was AMAZING! So much fun, so much space for people to spread out and enjoy the music, drinks, and food! You can also bring your own food if you'd like but the food options they have amongst the food trucks and vendors was really well balanced. Jasper staff was friendly and they had a nice selection of wines. Well done Jasper Winery! We'll be back for sure!

Sarah G.

Yelp
I tried almost all the wines (dry to sweet) and they were all good. The atmosphere is great- indoor and outdoor options with fireplaces in both which would be fabulous in cooler weather. I only took 1 star off because I go to wineries for both the wine and the EXPERIENCE and the person helping me acted like I was kind of an inconvenience. Didn't talk with me at all about the history of the winery or wines. But the person helping the couple next to me was very engaging with them so I did get to hear all of it by ear hustling. I ended up getting a glass of Edelweiss and sitting on the patio. This is my first time encountering this wine/grape and I am in LOVE!!! Highly recommend going if you are in Iowa.

Heidi H.

Yelp
Jasper holds Thursday summer concert series. What a fun night. You bring your own chairs and snacks if you want. They do have food trucks and grilled brats on site. They sell adult beverages as well. Many bicycle riders stop by on their rides for this event. Parking is available in their lot as well the street.

Alex K.

Yelp
Recently visited Jasper winery on a Friday evening girls outing. Indulged in purchasing several bottles of wine and a cheese plate, which were delicious and well complemented. The host was friendly and accommodating to matching tasting options of bottles that were to our preference.

Mahar C.

Yelp
This place has the best free summer concerts on their lawn. It is a great place to chill with friends

Dave J.

Yelp
Very friendly tasting with a variety of wines. They have a great selection of types of wine drinks including canned wines and barrel aged wines. We got a some to bring home, but enjoyed a bottle of Seyval Blanc out on their patio with a cheese and sausage board. Wedding pictures were being taken on the beautiful grounds. Great place to visit!

Daniel P.

Yelp
Jasper Winery has it all. Great place for a party or gathering of any type. Offers enough space to let any group mix and socialize.

Kristyn M.

Yelp
Life is getting back to a normal when you can sip wine outside on a 90 degree day at the winery. I was here for a bachlorette party. They purchased a combo 5 bottles with chocolate and cheese trays. The chocolate had to be eaten quickly so not to melt. "Darn" The group got to pick the bottles that were served in a bucket of ice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sun was a killer so they helped us move our table into the shade of one of their trees. All around great experience and I enjoyed the wines.

Scott J.

Yelp
Fun place to go. We try to make it there every time we are in Des Moines. We really like their dry wines.

A P.

Yelp
This was our very first time wine tasting, and we had a fantastic time! We went at around 1pm on a weekday, so there was not much of a crowd. We ordered the wine and cheese combo sampler, which we felt was definitely worth the money. The lady who served us did a fantastic job at explaining some history of each wine and cheese, as well as pairing recommendations. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to go wine tasting.

Macy M.

Yelp
Awesome lawn concerts for the summer every Thursday. The drink selections are great and the experience is overall wonderful. Totally recommended for groups, couples night out, etc.

Yelp
Came in for a bachelorette party to do a wine tasting. We were set up with the chocolate and wine pairings. They had a cute little set up with trays that had a piece of different chocolate for a tasting of wine. Unfortunately not even the dark chocolate was vegan so I did not get to try any and didnt get the full effect of the pairings. I liked most of the wine and the employees were very nice to check the ingredients of the chocolate for me. It was also a lot less expensive than I imagined. It was a nice hour for $15. The room was kind of bland and big but it seemed like you could bring in your own decorations if you wanted to. Ive heard good things about events here so hoping to come back for one in the future.

David M.

Yelp
Disclaimer - I am not a connoisseur of wines. I like Welch's grape juice and gummy bears, among other unsophisticated foodstuffs. That said, Jasper winery has options to satisfy every palate. The tastings are relaxed and fun. My suggestion for a great afternoon with friends - sample their stuff in a tasting, buy a bottle of your favorite, order a cheeseboard and go find a cozy seat by the fireplace and share some time together. The cheese was cubed, nothing fancy. If you come in with the right expectations this place can offer a really good, relaxed experience.

Marie L.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at Jasper Winery, I would 10/10 recommend for anyone traveling, visiting or living near Des Moines. First of all, they have free wine tastings which was definitely equivalent to a glass of wine. I'm not a wine expert but their wines were pretty tasty. Of the 5 semi-sweet to sweet wines, there was only one I didn't care for, but still not bad. Did I mention the wine tasting is free!? They also have games available to play and fireplaces to keep you warm. The woman who provided our wine tasting was very friendly.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Good wine and very helpful girl up front! She knew a lot about the different flavors in the wines and was awesome helping us decide which wines were for us. Wish the weather was nicer but still nice area outside to sit and enjoy a bottle or two

Brittany S.

Yelp
Chronologically speaking... Upon arrival to Jasper Winery you can't help but notice how modern and fresh the building is. Surrounded by a small patch of vines and just a few steps from Grey's Lake, Jasper Winery is a very ideal location for hosting events. The winery was slightly busy when we entered with 4 or 5 folks standing at the tasting bar grabbing a glass or taste. Our game plan was to try our the complimentary tasting, choose our favorite, purchase a bottle and hang out for a while. Our tasting plans kicked off on an ubbbbeerrr slow start. We were told we would be helped shortly, unfortunately, "shortly" ended up being close to a half an hour later. Literally 10 other transactions strolled up to the counter wanting to taste, buy a glass and were served while we stood there. I'm typically patient when it comes to this sort of thing but the blatant out-of-order approach made it a frustrating start to our visit. Fortunately, after the tasting kicked off and the juices were flowing our visit started to turn up. Tasting flights are pre-set and you can choose to either go dry or sweet (6 tastings on each). If you're craving cheese to round out the experience, note that they have several Iowa cheeses on hand. *Had it not been for the delayed, less-than-hot start, I would easily give this business a 4+ rating.

Jordan M.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place. Great in the summer for outside seating, close to the bike trails, special music at times. Nice fireplace for winter visits. Always a pleasant staff. Wines are good. I like the Norton & Chancellor, while the Lucy Lane & Edelweiss are more affordable $10 & nice as well. Free Tastings, or get it by the bottle or glass. Cheese plates too! Little bummed they have a $5 corkage fee now.

Savanna M.

Yelp
Truth be told this is not my type of wine....but a few of the options, most notably the Norton, are drinkable. Looking to kill some time we took advantage of Jasper being so near by. I had attempted to try some of their offerings earlier in the day at the Farmers Market, but found the booth too crazy. Coming here was much more relaxed and for a grand total of $0 you're able to try some of their options. They have two tasting options, one sweeter than the other, and since there were three of us in the group we forced my brother to try the sweet options, while we did the less sweet options. We did end up purchasing one of the sweet roses actually for $10, which I think would be perfect when mixed spritzer style to cut the sweetness and enjoyed by the pool... (side note, does anyone have a pool in Iowa?). This would be the perfect spot for an outdoor picnic, bachelorette, wedding shower etc, as the grounds are quite picturesque. Grab your girls and some cheese, and take advantage of alfresco drinking while the weather is right!

Mike S.

Yelp
A short growing season makes a sweet wine. People have wedding here. They have Madhouse beer for the non wino. Sweet wine, beer, and ambience. Come here to get it

Rachel T.

Yelp
A few of my friends and I came here for a fun little afternoon. The wine was great and reasonable prices. However, there is really nothing else to do and nothing to look at. It was a little crowded which I didn't mind though. The only real problem I had was the woman waiting on us. She was pretty rude but was noticeably nice to the other people. I know my friends and I are only 21 and only bought one bottle, but it really made us not want to come back. She answers our questions very short and didn't want to chat with us at all. She also acted like we had no idea what we were doing which was annoying. But overall, it was good wine.. nothing special. I wouldn't waste time here though. There are better wineries in Iowa.

Kelli R.

Yelp
What a lovely spot to spend the afternoon. The young lady who did our informal tasting seemed knowledgeable and did not rush us. After buying a bottle of wine to split we spent the rest of the time relaxing on the patio enjoying the day. We did the Bed Head Red which was sweeter than I normally prefer but perfect for the day. We will be back again.

Kat B.

Yelp
My friend and I went for the live music they have on Thursdays during summer for the first time. As a newbie it was hard to figure out and honestly a deterring factor for me to return. There are no signs about parking, where food or drinks are located or where bathrooms can be found. I was dismayed at paying $7 for a small plastic cup of wine, especially because I was unsure which wine I wanted. I told the gal I liked sweet wines so she just poured me one without telling me anything about it nor letting me sample it first. There is food at these events but not sure where as, again, there are no signs to offer help. The parking is abysmal and unfortunately it's mostly all tall grass fields. All in all I doubt I'll return. The staff wasn't overly friendly, the lack of signs for help were non-existent and the bathrooms were really gross. I understand it's a big public event but over flowing trash and standing water in the restroom with children and older adults using them is not acceptable.

Patrick T.

Yelp
My first time out to Japer Winery was really great! Normally on Thursday nights in the summer they have free live music! I'm usually working on Thursdays so I never get to participate! But I had the night off and we went on a lovely double date! Naturally we arrived early, and found out there was a private party happening! OOOOPS, but they were kind and told us we could hang out, outside and drink Madhouse beers and wines! So that's what we did! The winery is really nice, beautiful open layout! Perfect for weddings or those private parties we just happened to be crashing! I love Madhouse's beer which is the same company as Jasper and my crew dug the wine! All in all great service, really cool place, and good drinks with good friends... can't go wrong!

Wade W.

Yelp
Went to Jasper on a Friday afternoon for ther first time with a friend that came in from out of town. The winery was slow and only had a handful of individuals there. We were met by two lovely young ladies, Addie & Katie. They were phenomenal with customer service and had such great smiles and their energy for the passion of their job shined through. We were so impressed with the service that we returned on the next afternoon with another friend that joined us for our weekend. This time the winery was crazy busy. Service was just as good if not better even though they were jam packed full. Also, the two young ladies remembers us and gave us the wonderful customer service once again. I would highly recommend Jasper as a destination. Great customer service, great wine, and most of all great people! Hands down the best winery I've been to in Iowa. Thank you very much Addie and Katie. Thanks, Wade & Rob

Genevieve W.

Yelp
Really relaxing time here however the gps took me to their employee lot. Thanks Garmin. Tastings are free which is a huge perk especially since I don't want to pay if I'm going to hate what I drank. Their wines are not really dry and I even found a few red wines I enjoy!!! Lucy land makes an amazing sangria. Staff is super friendly and the venue is amazing and cozy especially by the fireplace. I will be back to stock up. And did I mention. Their wine is super reasonable!!! $10 a bottle with case discounts!!!

Lindsay F.

Yelp
My favorite Iowa winery! Stop in for a free tasting, then buy a glass or a bottle to share! Add a cheese plate for an extra treat. They have lots of outdoor seating for summer days and a fireplace indoors for winter wine drinking. Their range of wines is delicious and they have something for everyone -- from sweeter whites to dry reds (my fave is the Behind the Shed Red). The workers are very knowledgable about wine and food pairings, and are so friendly to talk to during tastings!

Marcia L.

Yelp
This is the second outdoor event I have attended at Jasper Winery. There must be 500 people here. The ladies room has three stalls. There is a ridiculously long line and the bathrooms are NOT maintained. They are more gross than ive seen at some not so nice nightclubs. Shame on them. And their wine is not good, either.

Jewel P.

Yelp
Make sure to check their website or facebook for events going on. I love coming here during summer, they always have so much to do from music to tours to classes to wine festivals. I usually attend Winefest Lawn Party here every year and it such a great venue with great space and the staff is always super nice. My favorite wines are the Bed Head Red and All Night (White), sweeter wines and very tasty. If you ever get a chance to try the sangria they make inhouse, do! Its so tasty!

Makayla J.

Yelp
We decided to come here for a friends birthday on a whim because we love wine! Little did we know there was a 5K going on. That would have not been an issue, but when we were directed outside to use the portable restrooms was. We came specially to have their wine and enjoy the first nice day all year. That being said we couldn't even get a seat inside or outside because all the tables and chairs were removed. We stood/sat on the sidewalk and were served out of a plastic cup for $7! When my friend asked to sample the wine the staff was rude and acted like they didn't want to let her sample. Nor did they educate us about the wine and when asked where we could purchase the wine in stores we didn't get a straight answer. There was a small menu that we could choose from with only four wines due to the 5K. Staff said they had a regular menu, but acted annoyed when we wanted to see it. Unfortunately we will not be back due to the fact we couldn't use the inside restrooms, staff was extremely rude, there was nowhere to sit, and we were literally served out of plastic cups! I've been to multiple classy wineries that hosted large events, but still treated their customers right! We fully intended to spend a good amount of our day here and buy multiple bottles of wine to take home. So unfortunate because the ONE wine I sampled was good. They need to revamp their staff.

Karen Anne B.

Yelp
Thank you road construction for sending me on a detour to find this winery. I was on my way to go shopping when I saw it an pulled in. It was a Friday afternoon. The tasting area is kind of small, and busy, and I was about to loose my patience with waiting for some wine (they seemed understaffed) when I was finally served. They ask you what type of wine you like and then had you a list of 4 wines in that style. One of the wines on my list was running low on stock so they substituted something else. All 4 wines were tasty and I got the impression that if I'd wanted to sample a couple wines from other lists it would have been ok. Tasting was free. I had a glass of wine after my tasting. They were getting ready for a rehearsal dinner inside, and it was a bazillion degrees outside, so I didn't really have anywhere to sit with my wine. If they hire a couple more people for the tasting bar and provide another seat or two indoors, I'd give them five stars. In addition to their wines, they also have beers from Madhouse Brewing, which they are affiliated with. Finally, word on the street is that they have music there on Thursdays. P.S.: If you're a Foursquare user, be sure to check in while you're here, I got a free glass of wine!

Shelly L.

Yelp
Jasper Winery is nothing short of fabulous. I own a company that plans dates for couples - Jean and the entire staff have been so helpful and friendly that we've sent many couples back to enjoy the winery. I've had a chance to taste some of their wines myself, and all of them are wonderful. I highly recommend sampling them with a plate of cheese or an assortment of cheese, crackers, and chocolate. The atmosphere is very cool as well. One of my favorite visits was during a thunderstorm where we sat inside and sampled wines while listening to the rain outdoors. If you haven't been, check them out. You won't regret it!

Caroline M.

Yelp
I really love Jasper Winery. Not only do they have tasty wine, but they have a stunning facility and grounds with grapes & the whole nine yards growing out front. Pretty cool. You can drop in for an informal tasting. Then get set up with a glass or bottle and leisurely imbibe in their very nice tasting room. Not super into wine? Then have some Madhouse beer. Now everybody wins! My super (not so) secret insider tip is to go to Gray's Lake and take part in the Unwined live music & wine event every Friday. Check Jasper's website for location & times as it's being held every other Friday at Gray's Lake & The Hub downtown this year. My visits to Unwined this year have been freaking fantastic! Pop open some Unoaked Seyval out on the grass and relax.

Yelp
We attended the last Summer Concert last night. The website says that service will begin at 5:30. At that time only 1 bar the one inside was the only one open. We proceeded to the tent in the back of the venue by the food and the girl was very rude and told everyone that they weren't ready yet. When your website says the service will begin at a certain, everyone should be ready to handle customers. Once the bar was open at all the tents, it was hard to get pleasant service. All the employees but 1 were very rude and acted like they didn't want to be there it was a pain to wait on customers. Then the restrooms were dirty and when one of the employees came into the womens restroom she only brought paper towels, didn't bother to wipe down the counter and then proceeded to tell everyone in line that the porta potties were cleaner than in there. What??? If you want to make good tips provide good service. Last glass of wine I had I did not tip and the girl gave me a nasty face. That is exactly why I didn't tip you honey!!! Good service will be rewarded. I think there should be some discussion on good customer service before you hold another event at the winery. Very unpleasant, unprofessional and we will not be back anytime soon.

Abigail J.

Yelp
Relaxing and fun environment! I completed the VIP wine tour and loved every wine I tasted. I even bought 4 bottles of wine to take home! Can't wait to come back here again.

Alison N.

Yelp
Disappointed in our first time visit today. We called in advance and they let us know it wouldn't be a problem for 5 of us to come in for chocolate and wine pairings tasting. We stopped in about 1pm and the server let us know that wasn't an option and when we let her know we called in advance she said we talked to "an idiot". Since it was Thursday we also couldn't buy bottles to drink outside so our only option was to buy the bottles to take home which we could have bought at the grocery store and likely they would have been less rude. Even a simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. #bummed:(

Alexis R.

Yelp
We had an absolutely lovely afternoon at Jasper Winery! The tasting room is spacious and comfortable. I went with three good friends and we spent our afternoon, after tasting some wine, chatting in the seating area over a bottle. The older I get, the less I like sweet wine. Some was too sweet. But the dry whites that I got to try...mmm. My personal favorite was the Unoaked Seyval. So fresh. I'll be back. Especially when it's warmer. So much fun.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Great place!!! I planned an event there and the staff was wonderful to work with. Great options with wine tasting. Great place to go and just enjoy Iowa wine!

Mary D.

Yelp
Stopped by here last week to check it out and had a really nice wine tasting hour. We were lucky because it was a quiet afternoon and had the luxury of asking a lot of questions and taking our time. We tried about 8 different wines and the staff was very knowledgeable. Thank you for being so gracious. We will definitely be back for more wine!!

Laura G.

Yelp
I have attended several events here at Jasper winery and they have all been wonderful. But the wedding that I attended this evening for Braden Kristen was so elegant and so well done I would highly recommend booking a wedding or reception at the winery. I have also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and fast and they are so professional. Jasper winery also attend so many things in the community and is so supportive of Des Moines.

Kenneth B.

Yelp
Not a huge wine fan so my experience might be skewed, given that I'll refrain from reviewing the wine. Tho I did have a pretty good wine the day I was there. It was the Seyval Blanc and it really hit the spot and I would get it for those special occasion, if I was going to buy wine. My real issues was the fly's and gnats on my visit. Both the tasting room and the patio. We left the tasting room to get away from fly's to find gnats on the patio. You had to keep your hand or a coaster over your wine to stop the bugs from getting into things. I'm a outside person and normally don't mind the insect, but these little guys were plentiful. I really thought the winery would do something to keep the nuisance at bay. I'm really glad we didn't have meats and cheese I don't think I could have eaten with the amount of pest landing on everything. I did however promise the group I was with, I would come back for some live music and more Seyval Blanc in the future. So I'll keep you updated. Hopefully my next experience will change my review. Yelp
The wine was ok. I'm giving it two stars for the staff/management and ambiance inside & out. The lady working the tasting room couldn't find wine lists when I asked to view the wines. A group of ladies were dragging things around into another, private room for a bridal shower. The place was still setup for a wedding from the night before and clearly not ready or welcoming for Sunday tasters. We chose to sit outside, but the view was of some storage sheds and traffic. Finally this is the only Iowa winery I've been to that doesn't have a variety of wine snacks (they have some cheese, but very limited). There are no wine gifts and their wine display is hidden in a corner.

Yelp
We scheduled a birthday tasting ONE MONTH before And they scheduled it over with a WEDDING!!! when we showed up we felt awful for invading a wedding and the bartenders were AWFUL!!! do not recommend going.

Yelp
Being from California we weren't sure what to expect from Iowa wines but we're pleasantly surprised with the wines at Jasper winery. The owner and server we both very friendly and professional. We were excited to try varietals not grown in California and found the wines excellent. We are used to dry wines so the only sweet wine we tried was wild boys which was was a very nice port style wine and not overly sweet. We would recommend this winery to any of our friends coming to Iowa

Yelp
Really nice facility and friendly staff. I've been here a few times for various things including a casual day of wine tasting and events. We held my husband's 40th birthday party here and they were amazing to work with! Wine is on the better side of Iowa wines. I haven't been to their events with live music, but I look forward to checking one out as a girls night or date night.

Yelp
I've been to Jasper winery a few times and loved it every time. The wine tasting is free, you can choose from a sweet or dry side. The bottles are very reasonable, around $12. They also have a good selection of cheese plates, which I usually partake in. There's free wifi if you want to just have a glass and chill. The people that work there are extremely nice and attentive. Overall, a must.

Yelp
I had a group of 18 and we were very much accommodated. My group did the wine and chocolate pairing. The chocolates paired perfectly. After our sampling we bought a couple bottles and had a great time. Would have given five stars but no one told us any history about the winery or any information about the wines we were trying. We entertained ourselves and still had a blast.

Yelp
This place is more like a brewery than a winery. I wasn't impressed with any of their wine. I especially thought their reds tasted weird and smelled like rubber. The venue looks like a warehouse with zero winery ambience. I personally didn't quite understand why people would consider this a wedding venue. I have encountered better wine and venues at other wineries in Iowa.
