"Java Cats Cafe had their water shut off by the City of Atlanta due to a mistaken property listing. The cafe, which opened in March 2017, faced a two-day closure but managed to restore water access with the help of media coverage and community support. Java Cats Cafe partners with PAWS Atlanta to foster cats and serves coffee from Ebrik Coffee Room. Plans to expand to Marietta with a new location opening in May." - Beth McKibben

Amazing and wholesome experience! Everyone is SO nice and the kittens and cats are so well loved and cared for. Everything for sale goes to support the animals/their rent/expenses and every cat you see is available for adoption! I can’t stop smiling from the level of pure love and cuteness Java Cats Cafe brought me. The owner is a sweetheart and everyone we met was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and loving. Protect this business and these people/cats at all costs! Support them and love them if you’re in Atlanta! 10/10 experience and can not wait to go back.

What an amazing cafe across from Oakland cemetery. I stopped by for a latte and discovered this wonderful coffee shop which raises money for the care of cats. Really nicely decorated inside lots of great wood and great offerings. My latte was perfectly made and they've and put a little face of a cat on the froth of the latte. There is a second room inside which is full of cats that are ready to be adopted. You pay a fee to get in and be able to be with the cats. The fee allows you to have a discounted drink and the fee is used to help cover the cost of taking care of the cats. They have a partnership with PAWS Atlanta and they have helped to house over 300 cats over the last two years. Please share this great restaurants location with other people you know.

Java Cats is an absolutely lovely small business with a big heart. They do a fantastic job of getting cats adopted. They also have a very nice staff and make some very good drinks. I visit almost every week, and sometimes multiple times in a week, and always thoroughly enjoy my time at Java Cats and also find it very therapeutic.

Grab a cup of coffee inside and support this cute adorable place. Cats have their own personalities💕💕💕 Some come out and want to play and some want to chill out in their own corner to just watch/nap. You might like a cat and end up adopting one, if you qualify!!! Money well spent for a great cause.🐾🐾🐾

A wonderful place for cat lovers to pet some kitties and relax with a coffee. Book an appointment before you go. They do an amazing job of re-homing kitties that come from a no-kill animal shelter. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff and an efficient booking system. Thank you for all the hard work you do to take care of these rescue cats!

The question is...will you fall in love with this place like me? Because I have been falling in love with this place since I saw it on my Instagram. I visited this place 2 times and I definitely will go back to adopt my cat in the future. The coffee was great and the staffs were friendly like the cats. I met the owner and she was really sweet.

Cute cafe and awesome staff. EVERYTHING is themed around cats and a viewing glass to see them in action from the main side of the cafe. If you want to go into their side with your coffee, and play with them, or just lounge around with a room filled with cats, you'll have to reserve ahead of time (just keep that in mind). But the main side is still worth it, good internet speed and plenty of power jacks (even USB plugs) for the digital folk. You can also educate yourself on all things feline if you want to choose from one of the many publications on cats from their front table.

Well socialized, very loving cats! They're in a bright, large space that is beautiful and comfortable. The owner is extremely passionate about her kitties and it shows. She gave us a tour and detailed her plans for the space to help with kitten intake. It is $7 for all day which is an absolute steal. As of right now they cannot offer food or beverage on the premises but directly across the street is a wonderful artisanal grocery store with a great coffee bar. Quick stop over there you get your coffee and you come over to pet the cats. I'm very excited to see this place only become more popular with time.
