Java N Jive

The coffee shop Java n Jive is located inside Popis Place. So you can order food as well. I love ! I come to Poppis all the time and finally tried one of these specialty coffees. Mmmmm so good. The ice cream in the coffee, if you order one of those, is from Yoders ♥️

This restaurant and coffee shop has a great vibe and atmosphere. There are tons of locals and it's always busy, so that tells you it's good! I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Excellent food, service and prices.

It was very difficult finding this place from the street. Didn't know it was located within poppos. When you walk in, it immediately gave a diner feel. We sat at the counter and they had a variety of expresso drinks and specials. Brooke was super sweet and attentive. The coffees she made us were good. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was average. PROS: Brooke was great! She gave us a punch card which with purchases you earn a free coffee. Price was inexpensive. Variety of specialty coffee drinks and big menu. Cute outdoor seating area. CONS: Difficult to see from street, counter needed wiping down, loud (not there fault) since it was busy. More of a diner feel- not coffee cafe. JUST FYI for your preference.

Adjacent to Popis Place you find locally owned Java N Jive. This place has a family friendly vibe -- not The Ritz. Came here to work while my car is being serviced at Steve White Auto. Friendly staff, clean facility and wifi. I had the egg sandwich and coffee.

Pros: The woman at the counter was super friendly, and they have a fun selection of flavored signature drinks. Also, soy and almond milk are both available options for nondairy folk. Cons: the coffee was too sweet.

What a nice little coffee shop in Palmetto! Like the other reviews mention it’s a bit hard to find if you are looking for a solo building. It’s in the popis place business so go ahead use that parking lot. Overall the barista was extremely friendly and she made two delicious drinks - mocha and hot latte. Prices compared well with other shops! Will be back!

This place is inside another restaurant. The server who helped me was quite nice, but unfortunately, the pumpkin scone was inedibly dry, and the coffee was over-sweet and chalky. I could not finish either.

Had my favorite coffee today. Sweet cream cold brew with an extra shot. So delicious. All the recipes are great, but I found my usual. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks Miranda 😁

I am a regular at Popis but today I sat at the Java n Jive side and ordered food and had a Frozen Expresso coffee with Vanilla Ice cream with my breakfast LOL It was Great ! I will have one of those treats AGAIN. Service was great as always and the decor is cute and casual at Java n Jive.

They have been opened since 2002 but just today discovered them ! The coffee shop is inside a restaurant Popis place . We will in and were greeted by a wonderful lady that offered us all the special coffee and teas we tried the A+ Train ( mocha and white chocolate coffee ) was absolutely delicious! We can't wait to go back ! They do close at 2 pm .

This morning's pumpkin spice latte was the most delicious I've ever had . The blueberry muffin was warmed up on the grill and sweet cream butter melted on top. Yum .

Came in last week and was greeted by Maranda she made me a pumpkin spice latte that would knock your socks off. Highly recommend very cool NoHo feeling type of place right off the Main Street in Palmetto.
