Java Review - Sun Valley - The Infatuation

"The original Java location was created as the ultimate hangout for its founder, a man whose look of thick square glasses, long hair, punk or indie band t-shirts, and a thin hipster scarf was so iconic that locals have often dressed as him for Halloween. A motorcycle, skateboard, and punk aficionado who passed away in 2020, he injected these elements throughout the coffee shop and café in the form of touches like framed black-and-white motorcycle art on the walls and laminated band photos as table markers for your food orders.  The drink menu has all the coffee classics, but you should order their famous Bowl of Soul, a specialty mocha that uses Mexican hot chocolate and comes topped with homemade whipped cream. Add on a high-protein turkey scramble or a heavy breakfast burrito, and check out the long display case of scones, muffins, and cookies for a snack for later." - Hayden Seder

Everything here was delicious. I got the Keith Richards to drink and the homemade whipped cream was amazing. All the food was good, reasonably priced, and well proportioned. Great breakfast spot

Amazing spot! Family ate here. Also had 2 flawless cold brews. The team here was exceptional on Wednesday April 23rd in the morning. The barista is top notch!

Love everything about this place! Customer service is amazing. My favorite drinks are the Keith Richards (very strong mocha!) and the mexican hot chocolate. The avocado toast, eggs & toast and Java Benedict are so yummy and fresh. A little on the expensive side but worth it when I can come in. 😊

My home away from home. Friendly staff. 2 for 1 pastry deals at 3 pm happy hour. Free treats for pets. Cool vibe. Breve latte. 🍽️ Hippie burrito. Bagel & smear! 🥯

All the great things about Java Blue Lakes in a 2nd location--delicious drinks, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. There are about ten or so small tables and decent amount of bar seating. I really like the updated look! Parking is pretty limited. I appreciated the barista wearing a mask. :) Definitely check it out if you are on that side of town!

Excellent coffee shop within walking distance of a few hotels. We popped in for a hippie breakfast burrito and some cold brew. Pretty particular about cold brew but they did not disappoint! Plenty of space for working or hanging out. Would stop in again!

Absolutely adorable. Great decorations and ambiance, plus the staff is incredibly kind. They have little day-old pastries, too! How cute! Would definitely return!
