Italian Bar Pisellino Is Expanding in the West Village | Eater NY

"I learned that Found Oyster will take over the kitchen at East Village seafood bar Penny on September 30, and that a Found Oyster menu — including their take on Penny’s icebox platter — will be offered in tandem with Penny’s regular menu; reservations were posted online." - Emma Orlow

My daughter and I came into your beauty dept today and needed help getting her some of her first make up. And as one of the ladies helped us color match I was so appreciative of some of the other ladies who also dropped in to compliment my daughter and encourage her. As a tween of color she is still growing confidence and it was a beautiful thing to see so many woman lift up her. THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL KIND ladies who helped encourage her ! The community effect was powerful and touching! and made her day.! And for the tasteful make up help!.

I placed an order this morning. I received an email stating that curbside pickup is available. I arrived at 3:47 and pressed the button to notify the store of my arrival. My pickup request was canceled by the employee at 3:47. I went into the email again, and notified the store of my arrival. My pickup was canceled AGAIN at 4:00. The employee should have waited on customers in the order that they arrived. I watched 5 people get in line AFTER I notified the store that I was here. I am not feeling well, so now I will have to leave and come back another time because an employee didn't feel like walking outside, or simply saying to those in line "there is a customer who has been waiting for 20 minutes, excuse me while I help them, since they were here first". GO figure. Can we say customer service anyone?

My daughter and I shopped here on Saturday, April 12th. The ladies downstairs were excellent and super efficient! We had plenty of space to browse without the discomfort of being watched or followed around. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for our experience on the upper level, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. While on the upper level at the beauty section near the parking lot entrance, the lady with the scarf on her head working the beauty and perfume area watched my daughter and I like a hawk the entire time we were there. We were testing the perfumes with the testers provided - nothing else. I decided not to buy anything, so we walked out of the beauty section and stopped to chat about where we wanted to go next. This woman actually walked over to where we were standing - just to watch us. I completely understand you guys might have a big problem with theft, but you are making loyal customers uncomfortable. Here's a tip: set up cameras around the section and watch them on a monitor from behind the counter. It's still effective and you won't run the risk of losing business due to discomfort. It's not my intention to get anyone in trouble - but she made both myself and my daughter uncomfortable and we will not be frequenting that section again. Other than that, the ladies downstairs were phenomenal!

I recently bought a watch at JC Penney at Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC for $50. In less than two days the interior was completely fogged up (I found out later that it was built so poorly in China that it didn’t have a gasket to keep humidity out). I took it back to Penney for a return two days later and the clerk was rude and said it was my fault (all I did was wear it on my wrist) and was unwilling to give a refund. So it’s unusable and $50 down the toilet. In this day and age when Walmart and most other places refund anything, no questions asked, it’s no wonder that Penneys is struggling. I certainly won’t return since they don’t care about me as a customer.

JC Penny can claim themselves when the brick & mortar stores close. I went to this store and shopped. I found 3 pair of shorts, stood in line for 15 minutes in 85 degree temp just to find out the door buster advertised is not valid in the store. Oxymoron right, door buster, but not at the store with doors, only on line which does not have doors. The shorts door buster price $14, normal price $32. If anyone wants them, they are hanging on the rack in the Greenville store. I went to my car ordered 2 pair to ship for free to the Greenville store and paid less than 1 pair in the store. CRAZY!!

The bathrooms here at the hair salon in this location are absolutely filthy. You also cannot find any sales associate to help you.

Love this store but I’m Not a fan of how they combined the first floor checkout, online pickup, customer service, and returns in to one line. The line is always extremely long and normally just 1-2 cashiers. And people are returning online orders, etc. I think the order pickup, customer service/exchanges and regular checkout should be separate. This is just awful.
