I want to give zero stars but Lindsay in photo department saved the day and is super deserving of 10 stars. Unfortunately for us, we had a different photographer (Collin I believe?) take our family (awkward) photos and while we were there, the experience itself was AWKWARD! The man who checked us in and ended up taking our photos was SO unprofessional, I wonder how he is actually able to work in this position or in customer service at all. Social Media made JCP portraits a ‘hip’ thing right now and this would be such a fun job for the right people—absolutely NOT him. Our appointment was pushed back by two hours and then we were rushed, and the things coming out of this dude’s mouth were so shocking, it took everything in me as a mother to not cause a scene. Here’s a good example of just one of the things stated: my daughter, wearing a dress and curled hair he looked at and called a “they, them, she, whatever.” Like, so shocking to hear someone speak with so much disregard about how that would feel to hear. All around, this type of interaction throughout our session.” I practically had to throw money at this just to get the hell out of there. I would LOVE to speak to management about this. It looks like there are MANY reviews citing this same kind of behavior and I would think you would do something about it. I would actually love our entire experience refunded, because if social media knew OUR experience, it was NOT what I believe your core valves would be based upon, in the slightest. I don’t want to come back, I don’t want a credit, I want someone to contact me and make this right. Absolutely NOT ok.
