Apparently this is what this restaurant calls chili. I’m flabbergasted. Bowl: $7 Sandwich: $10 My sandwich is decent and the staff are nice. Atmosphere is “functional” I’ve been here once before. I’ll probably be back but will avoid the soups 😂

Got the chipotle cheesesteak with extra meat, they don’t mess around with portions here. Everything’s grilled fresh to order, not frozen stuff they nuke or keep sitting on a warmer. Also tried their veggie sandwich with hummus spread and sweet peppers, way better than expected. Staff friendly, owner was right there making sure everything was perfect. Family operation for sure. Tip: Limited indoor seating but casual outdoor tables if you want to eat hot off the grill. Parking looks tight up front but plenty of spots around back, don’t let that scare you off. These subs are legit big, fresh made and worth the stop. 5-Star: Recommend

1000% go here for sandwiches. Been coming here almost a year and still consistently the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. They have the best bread and always very fresh veggies and lots of them. The chicken is seasoned so good and their sauces they make are the best. My go-to is the JCs sub and I ask them to put buffalo on it, also the spicy melt is so good and the sauce on there is the best. It's a small local place atmosphere and well worth whatever length you need to travel. They also have punch cards so every 10 you get a free one. I try to come here at least once a week. Congrats on the new award! JCS and Spicy Melt are my two favorite foods. Also thank you for extending your hours.

Hidden gem with cheap prices and Sammy’s packed with flavor! Ordered the JC sub, a roasted chicken sandwich piled with an eclectic variety of fresh crispy veggies on a nice fresh baked roll. Spent $12.90 for the sandwich and chips. Tiny sitting area and off the beaten path. Want to come back to try their pastrami!

Look, here's the deal. I go here often and I can never get a picture of the food because its so dang good that there is no time to take a picture, it goes straight to the face. Seriously look at my reviews I review aaaaaaaaalot. This is the best sandwich shop in the state. Simply the best.

First time trying this place and I am highly impressed. Very very delicious. I dont think any other sub chain can top these guys right now. Large variety for all taste buds especially turkey options. My partner doesn't eat pork or red meat and most other sandwich shops only have 1-2 options for him. I will be back and can't wait to try other menu items. We got the Cheddar Roast Beef Sub and the Spicy Melt Sub. The spicy melt was a bit spicy for me but the heat didn't last long which I appreciated. We ordered through doordash and everything still showed up hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

JC's is the best. They make a wide variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, soup, small deserts... of the probably 100 times i have ordered from there i have maybe had one time where it took a little longer than usual to deliver. They put on ample quality ingredients and always fresh. Great value. They have reasonable prices. Its a real small business that has some heart and creativity and substance... They do their own delivery. They are fast, consistent, and delicious.

JC's is consistently delicious and their service is friendly and inviting. I love that they offer delivery and it's much, much quicker than other delivery platforms. They have outside seating which is great. Inside is average but the service and food makes up for anything you may be missing.

Making my way through all the sub shops! When you get that craving, nothing else will do. This was a tasty stop on my journey! I ordered the Spicy Melt Sub, JCs Sub, Potato Salad, the Pickle, and a Sugar Cookie. First off, the bread is perfect and soft! It's not that overly thick ciabatta bread that throws off the meat to bread ratio, it's balanced. The Spicy Melt wasn't spicy, in fact, I don't even think I felt a tingle, but it was still a solid sammy. In general, I wish both sandwiches were saucier (just personal preference and I'm sure they could be ordered that way). JCs Sub had great flavor! Gotta love a chipotle sauce and all the flavorful roasted veggies! The pickle was picklin' and the potato salad was tasty! It wasn't super mustard forward if you're the type that likes it less tangy. Really I haven't met a potato salad I don't like! I ordered this for delivery. It was made very fast and delivered fast!

What a gem tucked away in St. Louis park! I had no idea this was right by the huge shopping area and will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in the area. I went right before close and the employees were welcoming and cooked my cheesesteak to order. The sandwich was incredible and had a ton of flavor and toppings. If you're craving a local greasy (in a good way) cheesesteak, this is the place. There's plenty of parking out front and seating inside. I also saw a sign for doordash and other delivery services. They have seasonal soups and sandwiches for extra options.

Such an awesome little local spot! They're known for cheesesteaks but do it all, in true deli fashion. My partner has been dying to try this spot and we finally got around to it. When we found out they do free delivery within 4 miles, we were even more excited! We placed our order over the phone and the food arrived within 40 minutes. They offer gluten-free wraps which is incredible! I got the turkey avocado wrap and really enjoyed it. My partner got the chipotle cheesesteak, my dad got the deli sub, and my mom got the beet salad with chicken. All tasted great and fresh deli meat always hits the spot. We had a bit of an issue communicating our address over the phone but the driver was able to message me to confirm. I can't speak to the interior or ambiance inside since we got delivery, but will stop in in person soon!

Love this little sandwich spot! It's very hidden but the flavor is not! Located close to the shops at west end so you can get your shopping done as well. I had the Cubano this time and it was very good. The meat was so tender and it was just the right amount of food. Parking lot is small but its never is a problem.

Best Philly cheesesteaks in the Twin Cities, hands down. Nothing fancy about this place, it's a classic lunch spot. Get in, grub down, leave happy.

Oh my, what a find, I'm glad I went out of my way to try this little sub shop. I tried the Cubano, since it was on Special, and it did NOT disappoint ! The bread, the pork, the cheese... soooooooo good ! I almost ordered the cheesesteak, but I was feelin my South Florida roots. I will be going back to try one of their cheesesteaks because it smelled so good when you walk in. Give this place a try if you appreciate a very good sandwich !

Unassuming sub spot located in a strip mall, but has sandwiches that pack a punch. If you need a quick & easy meal to go that stands above a chain sandwich place then this is your spot. Had the spicy melt sub, good amount of spice & filling serving. Quick & easy no frills!

Great ingredients, and amazing sandwiches. Would have to recommend any of the hot subs, but the cold subs are fresh & hit the spot as well. They frequently have limited time menu items that are ALWAYS bomb. These people know what delicious subs are. Not to mention the service- some of the nicest folks you'll meet and always greeting familiar faces at the door. 10/10

I accidentally stumbled across JC's Subs while looking for local delivery options that didn't have a high/any delivery minimum (just me tonight!). I was feeling a sandwich and took a look at the menu and decided to give it a go. I ordered online for delivery and I don't think I've ever received an order so quickly. I placed my order and had it in my hands within 20 minutes. So far, so good! The sandwich I ordered was the Spicy Melt. It came wrapped in foil and was still nice and hot when I unwrapped it. It was delicious! I like the kick you get from their spicy sauce. It's tolerable for someone like me who doesn't like super spicy foods. There was a generous amount of meat and cheese on the sandwich and the ciabatta bread was really good! Now that I've tried JC's Subs this is definitely going to be a go-to for me. Delivery was quick and easy and the sandwich was delicious. I'm so glad I stumbled across it! Please note this review is based off my experience with delivery only, I have not yet been to the restaurant in person. Hope to change that soon!

Extremely fast delivery! I recommend to order directly from their website and not use a food delivery app. Great bread too. I had the spicy melt and didn't think it was very spicy. Overall a great local sub shop!

This place is so great. The food is always good, and JC and her staff are always nice and on top of things. They also package everything really well so hot subs are still hot when you get home.

THE BEST SANDWICH I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. We ordered the Colorado Cheesesteak (no mushroom) and it was divine. It has a spicy aioli sauce on it and it was the perfect kick to jazz it up. Please put it on the menu forever! We stopped at target on the way home and it was still hot when we ate them. I cannot believe I have waited so long to get something from here but I will definitely return. I need to meet JC and shake his hand.

The price is too high for the amount of food you get. But I would come back. The subs were good and everyone enjoyed their meal. If you are in need of a good sub then try this place

I had the spicy cheesestak. I added extra meat. It was good. I have had better. The potato salad was bland. Cole slaw was ok. The cold sandwich was good. I would order from here again and try new subs.

The service was very fast but the chicken cashew sandwich just wasn't my taste. But what really disturbed me was how filthy the kitchen was. I don't think I'll be going back.

Hot Italian Sub. What a treat! I ordered light dressing, which I do on everything, everywhere. The cashier and I had a strangely long conversation about appreciation of non soggy food, with respect to those of you who do. Most restaurants are heavy handed to the extreme. This location is weird to me, high traffic and yet still out of the way. You kind of have to drive through several parking lots to get here.

Excellent sandwiches, with generous amounts of meat, and delicious bread. We ordered a Rachel, a Cubano, and a turkey & avocado sub. The ciabatta bread was especially fresh and yummy. I always prefer ordering food from a local place like this, especially right now. I'd recommend they add more vegetarian sandwiches to their menu, as there's only one. I'm knocking down a star because we asked for contactless delivery -- that was an option on the website -- and we did not get it.

Philly cheesesteak is incredible! I badly want to try the other food as I'm sure it's good, but I can't walk out of JC's without a Philly

Here's what you get for your non-insignificant amount of money: a basic sandwich with plenty of meat some melted cheese and toasted bread. Those three components are of good quality. What you don't get is any significant amount of flavor. For example, my wife and I ordered a Cubano and a pastrami sandwich and both were essentially flavorless. The Cubano had mustard on it that was far too diluted with mayonnaise to even taste, and it had one slice, and I'm talking round slice, pickle on each half of the sandwich (the sandwich was cut in half). The pastrami was tender and juicy, but the sandwich on a whole lacked flavor as there were no other components of the sandwich in the bread cheese and pastrami; there was a little to no seasonings. We've had far better for this amount of money. For example the daily dose café and espresso in Maple Grove.

The credit card reader was down so had to order online or cash only while at the restaurant. The sandwiches were mediocre at best. Pulled pork was flavorless. Bread was much too thick for another sandwich and texture was dull and flavorless as well. The staff were nice, drinks cold. Probably will just order jimmy John's next time.

Well, damn! Had a dining advantage coupon for a BOGO & decided to get this for lunch (my significant other could never get me to go there because I'm not a sandwich fiend). I just inhaled the JC's Sub from JC's Subs and that was fire Very flavorful with high quality ingredients. I don't typically order meat from sandwich shops (i.e. rubber subway chicken), but the chicken here was sooo good. My man got his pulled pork, cause it's his fave, and he finally satisfied his craving. Highly recommend! Support local!

Had a few different items from JC's and nothing so far has persuaded me to pick JC's Subs over Jersey Mikes in the same area. I'm always pulling for sub shops that aren't chains and maybe I haven't tried the right sub yet but nothing stands out for me unfortunately aside from service.

JC's is, simply, the best sandwich shop I have EVER patronized. I seldom write reviews on yelp, but this sandwich shop deserves all the praise. We've all seen small operations like this, and while the food may be great, there's always something missing on the business or service side, and failure is imminent. At JC's, something is different. The sandwiches are absolutely perfect, the service is stunning, and they seem to be minding their Ps and Qs. Not only do I love their food (I've been there four or five times in the last month alone), but they seem to have the most accurate pick-up times of any restaurant I've visited during the pandemic. To the minute, in fact. Something good is happening here. Don't wait. Grab a meal TODAY.

I've had 5 or so subs from here and all are fantastic. Today I chose delivery, which I never do, and my food didn't arrive. The owner called and explained the situation the driver had and promised a replacement and apologized. She offered a refund for the delay and was very nice. Told her no need for the refund, but she probably will anyway. Some of my favorites: Cubano Cheesesteak Chicken philly Turcow (I'd love to see a lightly-herbed aioli or something on this. Fantastic but needed a bit more sauce)

The hot ham and cheese is the best one I have had. The staff are pleasant and very friendly, delivery is quick and love the staff. I can eat a lot, but this sandwiches fills me up!! The taste is delicious and tastes just how a ham and cheese should! Try them and you won't regret it! Honestly, it is always a totally positive and pleasurable experience.

I live in the neighborhood and had not taken the opportunity to get a sub from JC's - something I regret! I saw they currently have a Cuban sandwich on the menu, and I'm always in search of a good one. Their take on a Cuban is the best I've had, with its juicy shredded pork, melty Swiss cheese and a delicious sauce. I will definitely be ordering from here much more frequently, as I think this has become my go-to sub shop!

First time ordering from here. I bought the Buffalo wrap and it was really good. I ordered from their app and it was very straightforward, also received free delivery and a deal for 10% off. I have a Cubano waiting for me in the fridge. I'm sure it will be delicious. I'll be back

We were craving subs and were going to with a chain. We have been trying to support small businesses when we can, so I did a quick search before we ordered to see if there was a good local spot near us. I had no idea that JC's Subs even existed prior to my Google search, let alone how close it was to us. We ordered the Colorado Cheesesteak and Pulled Pork, and they were both amazing!!! I cannot remember the last time I had a sub this good. We will definitely be frequenting this spot!

I love JC Subs! I moved here 8 months ago and they have been amazing since day 1. I order around once a week and have never been disappointed. Sandwich, soup, side, you cannot go wrong.

We don't live near JC's Subs but go into the area once every 2-3 months. I mean, there's a Costco in that part of town. It used to be that whenever we went to Costco we'd stop by Pei Wei. But then Pei Wei there closed. Then we'd maybe go to Arby's, but, you know, none of us loved it and then they stopped selling potato cakes which was one of their only differentiating qualities and then my 10-year old broke the news to me, "I only kinda like Arby's - I like the curly fries and every once in a while they get my order right." Daaaaamn. The latest generation knows how to cut deep. So today we went to JC's Subs to give a new place a chance. First off, wow is it hard to find. But just keep your eyes peeled for a sketch tattoo place and know it's behind that place. We got a Philly cheesesteak, an Italian sub, and a Rachel (off-menu). All three were seriously our favorites so far of those sandwiches in any place that we've been to in the Twin Cities! The Rachel needs to be ON Menu, circled in red and highlighted with sprinkles and embedded LED lights. They should write it out with glow in the dark paint. That sandwich SHINES! Next up the cheesesteak... simple, great great bread - the closest thing to Pat's, and yeah I'm a Pat's guy (though it came with Provolone and I know wit whiz is the only way for some people.) The Italian Sub was also very good - from what little bites we had - but picky eater kid was annoyed by greens and mayo and vinegar so he just ate the meats. But get this... The cheesey, lettucey, red onioney, oil and vinegary part that was left made a fantastic open-faced sandwich. All of this is a reminder. You don't need potato cakes as a differentiating quality... you just quality.

Great selection of all different types of cold or hot subs. Employees are always welcoming and never have I had something wrong with my order. This is big with my food allergies and the comments I make on orders deleting or adding ingredients. Loyal customer for last 2 years and will continue to make this my go to for a work lunch spot.

Delivery was on point! My sandwich came exactly the way I ordered it it could've used a little bit more Mayo and a little less bread but in all it was a good sub.

We ordered sandwiches on DoorDash. They came, we ate them, and I went ahead and ordered a second round. They're THAT good. Do yourself a favor and order two.

We walked up right as the they were turning off the signage to start cleaning up for the night. The staff assured us that it was no trouble to make three more sandwiches and graciously took our order. The service and food were excellent and I would absolutely recommend having a hot sandwich. The spicy Philly Cheesesteak was excellent.

Excellent Experience I went there to pick up a sub today and I had a great experience. I ordered a cold Club sandwich and soup. They made the sandwich quick and boy was it tasty. It was wrapped in aluminum foil and when I got home it was still cold. What was most impressive was the service. A young man named Paul came back from a delivery and he jumped right in to help. He took my order and a couple of others, he greeted customers as they entered the shop, and he got the orders ready for customers always checking with them on what they ordered. I will definitely return.

Hands down the best sub place in town! Heads and shoulders better than any other sub place out there. Nice owners too!
