Revisited an old favorite recently! Happy to say they are still offering great service and delicious food The cocktails were tasty and pretty colors Buddy bowl is prob my fav thing to order here The lobster risotto was a nice change from my usual steak order The Cajun tenderloin tips were really good but not a fan of the dipping sauces The Cajun pork chop got the least fave bite at the table was a little dry and lacked flavor-unusual as this used to be their signature dish! Could have been an off day Old school supper club vibes here - think old school New York dining scene

Friday night's Supper Club Chronicles kept me in Minneapolis, Minnesota and went to JD hoyts. I started with the jambalaya appetizer and my friend got some steak bites. For the entrees he got a steak oscar where I got two humongous Cajun pork chops. It was my first time here and it was pretty good.

Such a great place! The food and service is fantastic!. We specifically asked for our favorite waitress, Anne, and the owner Pat helped us out with our request and made it happen. The food and service is top notch and the warm and friendly atmosphere makes it our favorite place to go. The food is high quality and deliciously prepared. We've been here several times and they never disappoint. Doesn't matter if we dine at the bar, or in the dining room, service is great either way! The owner Pat is always there and chatting with the customers making sure everybody is happy. I could go on and on about the place but I highly recommend JD Hoyt's, you won't be disappointed for sure. I look forward to our next visit :)

Service is everything. In a world where great customer service services is limited. JDHoyts get it right every time . The food is on point every time. Love the catfish bites and sirloin bite. Much love to the bar staff for keeping it real

JD Hoyt is the epitome fine dining! The food is amazing! Whether you choose Fresh and juicy salmon, or a thick mouth watering steak, you will be impressed with the detail in which they put into your meal! They have a great selection of white/red wine to enjoy with your lunch or dinner. The appetizers are even delicious! I recommend the cornbread with butter and syrup and the garlic cheese bread with the corn chowder…yes, that’s just an appetizer!!! The environment is classy, romantic, and cozy. This is a place where you can make reservations with your significant other and come dressed up or you can bring the family as it’s also kid friendly. The owner is really nice, he walks the restaurant speaking to patrons and genuinely making sure that you have everything that you need, he will also bring food to your table personally. You’ll be glad you ate here, you’re welcome in advance lol!!!

There was nothing to complain about and if someone does they are lying the customer service was excellent the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing the food is unmatched. Our waitress was Annie and she was exceptional 👏🏾 the owner stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well. If I could give this place 100 stars I would happily. Thanks for the amazing service and first time experience. Will be back.

Absolutely wonderful place. Food was out of this world and the staff was beyond awesome! Will definitely be coming back!
