The 9 Best Restaurants In Cannes - Cannes - The Infatuation

"When you make the 10-minute train ride to Antibes to visit the Picasso museum, prioritize a meal at Jeanne. At this wine bar run by two sisters (and named after their late mother), you’ll eat vegetable-forwarded plates served in earth-toned bowls made by the ceramicist just up the road. The menu changes weekly, and dishes use ingredients sourced from local farms, sustainable fisheries, or occasionally foraged: mozzarella with garden peas and pickled white asparagus in May, and butternut squash and duck wontons in January. There are more than 300 bottles here, many natural, most from France and Austria, but the dozen wines by the glass are a great option—they’re picked by the sisters’ winemaker husbands." - sophie friedman, michael sinatra

Good choices of wines. We went for the Bandol rose Provence. Food is mainly to share. Not sure why they put five pieces of each if you share … Some guests can be very loud at their table, which impacts the dining experience as the tables are quite close to each other.

Best restaurant in Antibes with cozy ambience. Highly recommend the orange wine and these menu items: tapioca fritters, beef tartare and the beef stew. Ensure to make a reservation ahead of time as they are always fully booked.

Best restaurant in Antibes? Classic French food with a modern twist, a well thought wine list and a cosy atmosphere. The sisters who run it are great hosts, make sure you feel tended to and looked after, always with a warming smile. You won’t be disappointed. Just make reservations. And then go here. You won’t regret it!

We had a booking with only a short window of time before catching our train back to Nice, and they went out of their way to make it work for us. The food was absolutely amazing — I don’t even know how to describe it properly; it’s not just good, it’s on a whole different level

Most wine bars serve food to accompany their wines. But at Jeanne, the food takes center stage alongside the good selection of biodynamic, organic and orange wines. You won't find a menu online because the menu depends on what is available locally that day. Dishes are created with a balance of textures and tastes - making it so enjoyable with wine. Lovely memorable experience; this wine bar thus is a small 'restaurant' and so bookings are necessary - I saw so many persons being turned away!

Never write reviews but since I just had my best experience in a restaurant, not just in Antibes but probably ever! The food is very, very good - balanced flavour, fresh, innovative and super tasty. I’m east asian and I think for some dishes they really added a bit of east Asian twist which made them really exquisite and special. I went by myself so I couldn’t order the bottled wines, had 2 different wine by glass and they were superb. They let you taste them for free before ordering, which I never experienced (at least in London). They also allow half portions for the starters - so grateful for that especially I came alone. I got to taste more dishes because of that and that also shows how caring they are to their customers! The waitresses were the best ever, they were friendly, took the time to explain every single dish, every single wine and always so pleased to talk to you. The put a name tag on the water which I think is such a sweet touch. I came on Saturday and didn’t get a table, and they were closed on Sunday and Monday. I’m so glad I got a table on my last night here. I’ll definitely come back to Antibes just for this restaurant!

An absolute joy! The wine and food taste amazing separately and together it becomes magic! The owners are so nice and know so much about the wine. I’d recommend everyone to visit this place if you have the chance to. Especially if you’re in to vin nature. Thanks Jeanne for one of my best food/wine experiences! BR Elin

My first meal on my first visit to the Côte d‘Azur - and boy what have I missed! I loved everything this place served, especially the grilled corn with miso and bonito flakes and the super moist poppyseed cake with poached peaches for dessert. Really EVERY ingredient is top notch here, service super attentive and nice, they even gave me half portions as I was on my own so I could try everything I wanted. I truly hope to be back here some day. Just make sure to reserve a table online, they are popular for a reason!

Yelp
Love this little place. Owned and operated by two French sisters, they have a great collection of wines, nice and lovely service and both speak English very well. Going there on Friday night for dinner so you'll hear from me again.

Yelp
We went for dinner a few nights ago, it was a great evening. Best food we have had in Antibes so far. It is a small restaurant in a wine shop run by 2 sisters. They treat you like family. It is a small menu, but every dish was incredible. Best to make a reservation. We will definitely return!

Yelp
I was blown away by this great unexpected find in the middle of Antibes. I wanted to grab a bite at the end of a busy day and stopped by Antibes to check out some of the tastier restaurants I'd been considering when I passed by this cosy and chic wine bar on a side street in the old town. What I found was phenomenal service, excellent wine knowledge by Marine (one of the two sisters that run the place) and a selection of delicious small plates of salads, terrines and more. I believe that all the wines they sell are 'natural' (a cut or two above 'bio/organic' I believe) or what was told was the purest of wine you could get. Also what I ended up paying was a bargain. I could end up going here pretty much every day!
