"For example, Are You Open Yet? is composed of vermouth, Jeddah’s dallo tea, and soda — a nod to the frequent questioning from locals and neighborhood friends on an opening date for both Kingfisher and Jeddah’s Tea (opening fall 2019)." - Jenn Rice

Lovely little tea and coffee shop with a very large selection of multiple types of teas. Staff was very welcoming and answered all our questions before we ordered. The Yemeni Coffee my sister ordered was fabulous (coffee from BW with cardamom and ginger added during brewing) and the Jade green tea I had was delicious and in line with the tasting notes from the menu. Highly recommended if you are a coffee or tea lover looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a drink or need something to go. I will definitely return when in the area next time.

Just what Durham needed! Jeddah's Tea offers a nice selection of loose leaf teas, coffee (did not try), and pastries in a central location. The cups are a pleasure to hold and the ambiance is simple and comfortable. Loved the color of the tiles at the bar and the selection of plants used as decoration. The almond praline pastry we had was very tasty - more like a coffee liqueur cake in the family of tiramisu, but tender and delicious and beautiful. Tip: keep your voice down. Like most places in Durham (high ceilings and a strange reluctance to invest in noise control), it echoes badly, and one loud guest can make it very unpleasant for everyone else.

Stumbled across this place while shopping at Zen Succulent and was pleasantly surprised. I could smell the delicious tea from out on the street and the taste of my Chia like tea didn’t disappoint (they have oat milk for my fellow vegans). Great service and knowledgeable! Will come back!

Had the Somali Chai Latte (they also make a concentrate) and it was incredible! Super easy to make and everyone enjoyed its aroma and depth. Definitely will go back again!

Jeddah's tea is a cozy, beautiful spot to taste delectable and unique teas! A great place to meet up with friends, get some work done, or take a breather from your busy day. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and overall lovely. Highly recommend their Somali Shaah!

Came here for the first time to get a pot of tea. I drink a lot of single origin, looseleaf tea. It's very difficult to find really good sit down tea places that do pots of tea with a robust selection. Jeddah's has that, with a very nice selection of teas (and coffee). I got a delicious Yellow tea from Yunnan province. They're great about resteeping the tea, giving you 2 resteeps. It's a little pricey overall, but they clearly source high quality tea and other ingredients, so it's absolutely worth it. If I lived in the area I'd be here all the time.

Stopped in to sit and kill some time before a show, and tried the Daallo blend. It’s delicious. If you’re a masala chai fan, as I am, I expect you’ll like it a lot.

Nice and cozy tea shop at downtown, while I love their coffee better than the tea! The hojicha latte was great! Hard to find hojicha at the RTP, good to have one here
